     " hm? " bright blue meets tengen's gaze as he rounds the corner of one of the butterfly mansion's many hallways. he'd heard the kid coming, hurried -- must be late or looking for one of his comrades, he thought. and maybe so, but the young slayer pauses a moment too long, looks at tengen's face a little too intently. he looks as though he has something to say.

     which is all good and well, but tengen has three wives waiting on him to get on with their next assignment. he doesn't really want to spend time entertaining a bunch of questions, even if they come from a place of admiration that will certainly stroke his ego ( and even less does tengen want to wait for the questions to start ). so what does he do?

     tengen takes off.
