#ANYWAY. i stillllll didn't share all of my headcanons because while i was writing this

more headcanons for vildia, my most beloved underrated ship 💙💜

(sort of a part 2 to this post)

okay so let's get one thing out of the way here first: yeah, idia has trouble taking care of himself properly, and yeah, vil might be a little frustrated by that. but it's only because he sees the potential that idia has and wants him to be the best he can be, and wishes he didn't have to struggle so much. but he respects so so much that idia tries, has been trying more and more every day since returning to school after the STYX incident. and he does his best to nudge him in the right direction and show that he appreciates the effort he puts in.

there are days when idia just can't believe vil would ever want to be with someone like him, but on some days, he thinks of course vil would want someone as smart and capable and accomplished as he is. vil deserves nothing less than the best, so of course they're perfect for each other! and vil always reminds idia of this when he's feeling down and being self deprecating.

vil may seem perfectly confident and put together, but he, too, needs comfort sometimes. idia isn't the best at knowing how to do so, and feels clumsy and awkward about it, but again, he tries. he does the best he can to try to get vil's mind off of things and make him smile, and when vil really needs to talk, idia does his best to listen and support him however he can.

i think that when idia can tell vil is feeling down, he tries really hard to make him feel extra special and find some sort of event they'd both like or offer to take him on a more public date, which vil really appreciates because he knows how introverted and anxious idia is.

some of the things they enjoy doing on occasions like this include going to themed cafes, or going to the movie theater together!

they also go to antique shops, which idia thought sounded incredibly boring the first time vil suggested it. but then he found several cool things he wanted to show ortho and had to reluctantly admit to vil that he had a good time.

sometimes they also go to the arcade and idia always, without fail, wins at least one plushie from the claw machines for vil. vil didn't even particularly like plushies before but now he has a little shelf where he puts all of the ones he gets from idia.

one day vil secretly goes to the arcade on his own to win a cute little black cat plushie for idia. not try to win it, but win it no matter how much he actually sucks at the claw machine games. he even texts ortho asking for tips.

ortho texts back offering to come by the arcade and break into the prize compartment for him. vil very emphatically refuses and instead opts to play the game over and over until he wins fairly because dammit, he's going to win a plushie for his boyfriend like idia keeps doing for him.

this cat plushie genuinely becomes one of idia's most treasured possessions.

vil really enjoys animated movies but doesn't often watch them with other people because there's just something about them that makes him more likely to cry during them. he and idia watch them together a lot and idia likes to poke fun at vil for crying while 1) still cuddling up to him and letting him cry on his shoulder anyway and 2) doing a terrible job of hiding the fact that he too is crying by the end.

aaaand this post was supposed to be shorter than my last one but it has still ended up very long, so that's all i have for now, ty to anyone who reads this <3
