Rogue One’s Orson Krennic Is Back In Andor Season 2 – And Set To Clash With Dedra Meero

Initial takeaway from the first Andor look:

THINK LIKE A LEADER: I don't think anyone saw this one coming. Cassian always seemed like a shadow agent in R1, and season 1 doubled down on this with his dislike of teaming up with others. So the fanon always was about him being a loner. Any time we saw glimpses of leadership within him, he willingly hung back from the limelight. And yet now... Very excited for this one.

IS BIX IN A DIFFERENT REBEL CELL THAN CASS? She wouldn't stress about needing a pilot otherwise, she'd have one right there. Pretty neutral about this one. It would be healthy for Bix to be on her own for a while, I guess.

BEAT UP, DRAMATIC AND BITTER: probably the most exciting shot and line. The way Cassian speaks (and looks) it seems like he'd been through the grinder and sustained heavy losses. The place he's in definitely isn't the Bix / Cass / Luthen apartment that was shown in previous exclusive trailers. I wonder if it's the same place where we saw someone being strapped down for some Dr. Gorst interrogation. Will have to watch the old videos to check. Anyway, some H/C is always welcome.

Andor Micro-teaser trailer thoughts (all 10 seconds’ worth!)

In addition, here are some of the extra shots mentioned or useful from the first two sizzle reel/potato trailers (sr1 = Star Wars Celebration 2023 and sr2 = D23 from earlier this year ) … If you also fancy playing speculative-connect-the-dots.

Obviously, lots of potential spoilers to follow, though it’s pretty much all speculation.

^Seems to show that this is the same location as the protest/riot. The open area is off to the left. Sr1.

^sr1 Bix (no dialogue) and sr2 Bix saying “ if I’m giving up everything, I want to win”. Could connect with Cassian saying “ let’s make it worth it” and possibly the ‘complex’ canoodling…

^ sr1 Same apartment, but who is this? Terrible quality but almost looks like Dedra with her hat on. Or is it Bix again?

The “It’s complex” canoodling. Seems to be same apartment. Part of the “ let’s make it worth it” scene? From sr1.

^From sr2. Cassian saying “you will never feel right, unless you’re doing what you can stop them.” Connected to the TIE theft? Who is he talking to? Again - Bix would make sense. Lightbulb moment… if he’s stealing the TIE from an Imperial facility presumably a second pilot is going to be needed to get the ship he went to wherever it is safely away.

Pilot Bix??!

^Syril watching as TIE fighters pass overhead. Looks like the same scene as the massacre? He’s still rocking the silly tie game, but he looks like he’s undercover himself in those old-fashioned clothes. Oh Syril…. Is this the moment you realise you’re on the wrong side??! 2nd sr.

^This is an interesting one because Cassian’s Bryar pistol is in “Sniper configuration” but he doesn’t seem to be sniping but firing in a panic . He’s changed weapons in the new footage. (Unless it’s a different mission). 1st sr.

Anyway, probably shouldn’t be doing this as will find out eventually. But we’ve been so hungry for so long… it’s kinda fun to speculate.
