Some people are not meant to succeed at things and if i think back to all my scientific grant application responses, I think I remember some PI out there very bluntly and confidently telling me I was one of them

#actually the problem I'm having now was very similar to my scientific problems #which was that nobody cared enough about peripheral nerves to fund research about them #AND they didn't know enough about peripheral nerves to accurately assess my grant #'why not just study this agonist this is a waste of time'#well sir motoneurons don't have receptors for that particular agonist so the study would be quite boring #still lolling at the person who marked Northwestern as a subpar research institute #like honestly I should have been allowed to DQ their score ONLY based on that #someone should have seen that and gone oh this person is a nutcase let's strip them of their position #but no #my future was determined by these goons
