I don't really remember it with my first dog cause we got her when I was so little, but bringing a shelter dog into their forever home really is something special. Moreso than buying a puppy from a breeder. Our little angel is 4 1/2 years old already and she's spent too long bouncing around homes and shelters, I'm so beyond delighted to give her a place and people to call home forever.

#i absolutely don't agree with the ''adopt don't shop'' mantra cause everyone has their reasons #and not wanting a shelter dog is totally understandable #but i'm about to turn into a ''who really saved who?'' kinda person #she's so 💖💞💓💕❤#i don't wanna post pics yet bc she's from a major shelter and i don't wanna doxx myself lmao #i say ''little angel'' like she isn't double the size of my last dog lol. she's a big girl #there really IS something to say abt getting an adult pet though. i know exactly what i'm getting #AND i don't have to deal with puppyhood or adolescence. look i love puppies for about 2 hours then i'm done with them. they're too much #if we are mutuals i may send u pics cause i'm spamming everyone rn lol i'm so excited
