If youtube doesn't give us a fucking setting to turn off their new stupid swiping shortcuts on mobile the same way they let us turn off thumbnail autoplay I'm actually going to loose my goddamn mind
#YOU CANT FUCKING. SWIPE DOWN ON YOHR SCREEN TO SEE THE TIME OR YOUR NOTIFICATIONS. BC IT RESTARTS THE VIDEO#FOR SOME FUCKING REASON#AND YOU CANT SWIPE UP TO MAKE THE VIDEO SMALL ANYMORE. BC IT TAKES YOU TO A DIFFERENT RANDOM VIDEO#AND THEN DOESN'T SAVE QHERE YOU ARE IN THE VIDEO YOU'RE WATCHING??#who told them these were good ideas?? that these were shortcuts that were needed or wanted???#these make the in app experience exponentially worse and we already had buttons to do those things man#what their fucking app developers got bored and decided to do something just bc they could?#or the executives decided something needed to change to make it More Efficient no matter how badly it actually makes it inefficient#literally i hate this more than any other app change i have ever experienced
