I genuinely think that the one thing that CNCO needs is collaborations like yes we just had the one that came out last night and that’s really good but when you look at Latin music especially today there are a good amount of artists that you probably can’t even name five songs that are completely done by the artist like no remixes no nothing and I mean remixes doesn’t like official things not like some random DJ at a club because remix does have power and that’s how a lot of these artists are getting fame like OK  you have this Artist and nobody knows he is nobody can say one of his songs but then all the sudden he gets some thing with bad bunny and well now he has a little bit of stuff to his name and people are like oh shit maybe I’m going to listen to the next thing this person comes out with or not but I feel like if they had actual collaborations with artists that are big on their own like J Balvin for example or Bad Bunny people are in the more inclined to listen to it about the Alex Rose collaboration was he’s a good artist but he’s not strong on his own like his biggest things have been with other people and Daddy Yankee was like OK I’m gonna remix your shit I like what you doing well that’s big that’s gonna get them places and that’s the one thing that I think they’re lacking a lot of and that could help them and there’s so many collaborations that I think they could just do for fun like I don’t get why management is so against it because like OK the more collaborations don’t you get more money and then if they get more hype then wouldn’t that be good like if they got a good English artist that’s popping off that a lot of people know people are gonna listen to this song like if Rihanna said OK I’m coming back and her first song is with a Latin artist people would not care who the other artist is but do you know how much hype that would give them as much is we all have our stuff against Maluma that would be such a big collaboration for him or of course any artist but like yes management could be promoting them better but I feel like their quality of work isn’t worth getting more fame like not saying that it’s horrible but like I feel like their sound is still stuck in like childish boy band stuff

exactly. i think it’s a thing in the latin industry nowadays to get as much collabs as possible. like honestly, i’m taking becky g for example, half of the artists she collabs with i never heard of them before. cnco are good at making hits on their own and they proved that before but it wouldn’t hurt for them to collab with bigger artists instead of less known one like they are doing now. don’t get me wrong, pa’ que guaye & cinturita are bops but a collab with becky g, maluma, bad bunny would be the best decision for them to bring them back on the charts. and i also get the fact they need to like a track they’ve been sent in order to say “yes, we’re writing a couple of lines for this song and we make the collaboration happen” but i doubt they don’t like songs from big artists they get send (since some big artists did say they want to collaborate with them & surely have sent them something). there’s a big collaboration coming as i said last month, but they need to fast up a little bit with collabs if they’d like to be promoted
