27 and grateful 💕

Thank you so much Lord for today!! I just turned a year older and I feel so blessed for all the blessings today brought huhue. Sharing how my first day as a 27yo went :)

I texted Brixton Burgers our orders for the day, I've always wanted to try their 10-inch burger. But as it turned out, they're closed!!

I asked Dad what he wanted for dinner and what can make the day special. He said it's up to me. I was still busy with tasks at work so I didn't get the chance to think again about what we'll order today.

Then it was 4pm. Booom. Little did I know that I would be surprised!! Huhu. Karl texted and said he'll send me food. I'm so touched just at the thought itself pa lang, wala pa yung foods.

Kuya Grab rider arrived at around 5pm, during the townhall, and I was all the more surprised! He was carrying a huge paper bag AND another box. Grabe huhu I'm overwhelmed.

Thank you Karl for making today special!!!Ang damii huhu I thought you'd send me food, but you actually sent me a BIRTHDAY PACKAGE :O May reason pala bakit closed ang Brixton Burgers today. What you sent us was way better than that giant burger I've been eyeing for months huhu.

Last time we ate Max's tofu sisig, it was during my college graduation and it was also with you and my family!!

And nakakakilig huhu because even though I never had a boyfriend, I've experienced receiving a cake with I LOVE YOU on it. Waaaaaa.

Thank you so much bb sis for all your love huhu I don't know what I've done to deserve you!!

Today I'm reminded of my birthday 6 years ago (I still feel like 21 tbh) when UPMUN also surprised me with a cake from Mernels! And five years ago, Kuya Jimson surprised me with cakes, too, from Passion! I realised, I never bought a cake for myself on my birthday hahahha because I always prioritise pizza or other stuff on my birthday most of the time. So thank you to you dearest friends for the cakes huhu <3

Here are some more of my highlights today:

My elementary CSBTF, Beverly, greeted me and said "Happy birthday, my bestest friend....." and I'm so kilig because nothing's changed between us even when we haven't seen each other since 2013. We've been BFFs (or as we call it, CSBTFs) since 2004!!!

My highschool kapatid Jessamie also greeted me and she's looking forward to catch up soon yeyy! I miss our journalism club days and CAT days from 2009-2011.

My college siss Gee sent me a really sweet message too early in the morning! I'm touched she remembered kahit nasa Bora sha hehe. Missing our UPPAIR days since 2015!!

My friends at Isentia also greeted me <3 I'm happy we're in touch even though we're at different companies now. :)) It seems only yesterday when we met in 2018!! I also enjoyed my convo with sist Naz where we shared our insights on career, adulting and how we've grown over the years <3

And of course my friends at Sevron greeted me hehe Larra announced it during the pre-townhall music lounge and played the song I requested. She played the songs requested by birthday celebrants this week! Yayyy. I requested Dare you to Move initially, but the playlist is upbeat yayy. Good thing I have a reserve song haaha I suggested City of Dreams!! Little things like this make me so happy <3

All these greetings mean a lot because I don't have an active Facebook account, so I didn't expect a lot of messages.

True enough, it's not the number of greetings you receive, but the intimacy of the people who greet you, no matter how few.

And also today, I took a small step towards a childhood dream, now that I've finally made up my mind. I won't disclose the details for now, samin muna ni Lord yun :) And a few people hehe.

I feel super super blessed. Thank you Lord Jesus for the gift of friendship and family. This is just the first day of my Chapter 27, excited for all the breakthroughs God has in store for me and my loved ones. Claiming miracles and milestones!
