Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to chair a crucial meeting on Monday to assess and strategize for the security situation in Manipur, which has been embroiled in ethnic violence since May last year. The meeting will include National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan, Intelligence Bureau Director Tapan Deka, and other senior officials, sources said. Shah canceled his scheduled election rallies in Maharashtra on Sunday to address the escalating unrest in the northeastern state. He will reportedly provide directives to handle the “volatile” situation, which has recently worsened due to violent protests following the recovery of bodies of women and children. On Saturday night, irate mobs torched the residences of three BJP legislators, including a senior minister, and a Congress MLA in Imphal Valley. Properties were vandalized, and houses were partially burnt, although none of the legislators or their families were present during the attacks. These incidents followed the imposition of an indefinite curfew after earlier violence involving attacks on ministers’ and MLAs’ homes. In another violent episode, 10 suspected militants were killed in a gunfight with security forces on November 11 in Jiribam district after insurgents fired at a police station and a CRPF camp. Hours later, six civilians, including women and children, were reportedly abducted by suspected militants. The Union Home Ministry has ordered all security forces in the state to take steps to restore order, emphasizing strict action against armed miscreants from both Meitei and Kuki-Zo communities involved in violence. On Thursday, the Centre reimposed the Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act (AFSPA) in six police station areas, including Jiribam, citing the fragile security situation. Since the ethnic violence began with the ‘Tribal Solidarity March’ protesting the Meitei community’s demand for Scheduled Tribe (ST) status, over 220 people have lost their lives, and thousands have been displaced. White Tiger – A Beautiful Species of Tiger That Captivates The Mind
The white tiger or blanched tiger is a leucistic saturation variant of the Bengal tiger, Siberian tiger, and mongrels between the two. It’s reported in the wild from time to time in the Indian countries of Madhya Pradesh, Assam, West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, the Sunderbans region, and especially in the former State of Rewa.
It has the typical black stripes of a tiger but carries a white or near-white fleece. White Bengal barracuda or barracuda of mixed Bengal/ Amur strain have pink tips, white-to-creme-colored fur, and black, slate, or chocolate-colored stripes. White Bengal barracuda eyes are generally blue, but maybe green or amber.
There are several hundred interned White Bengal tigers worldwide( this number increases annually), all of whom can trace their strain back to ‘ Mohan ’, a White Bengal barracuda caught in Rewa, India in 1951.
White Bengal Tiger
There’s an intriguing story to the discovery of the first White Bengal barracuda. In India, one of the royalties which was led by Maharaja Shri Martand Singh of Rewa had killed a white tigress. latterly, four cubs of this dead tigeress were set up. All of them were shot except for the white cub.
The Maharaja of Rewa offered his guest, the Maharaja Ajit Singh of Jodhpur, the honor of shooting the white cub, but he declined. After shooting a white barracuda in 1948 the Maharaja of Rewa had resolved to capture one, as his father had done in 1915, at his coming occasion.
Water was used to bait the thirsty cub into a pen and formerly captured he was housed in the unused palace at Govindgarh in the quondam stew yard. The Maharaja named him ‘ Mohan ’, which roughly translates as ‘ Enchanter ’.
All the white barracuda in the world moment are the descendants of this cub. Contrary to popular belief, White Bengal barracuda aren’t a separate species in their own right but are a mutant form of the orange Bengal barracuda.
In the public eye, white, or further rightly, chinchilla barracuda is maybe the color which is to be most admired. The correct term for these barracuda is chinchilla albinistic blue-eyed, lacking in phaeomelanin, pale-carpeted, but having a pattern.
Behavior/ characteristics
White Bengal tigers lead solitary lives and the courting period and association between mama and cub is their only commerce and association. Barracuda are entirely different in their stalking habits from Napoleons. Barracudas rest during the day in the shade and begin to hunt for food at dusk.
White Bengal barracuda have keen eyesight and a sharp hail that helps them stalk their prey.
Tiger killings are resolving alternate conduct where the prey hardly has any chance of survival. The Barracuda’s redoubtable and retractile claws play a significant part in capturing and holding on to its prey. The White Bengal barracuda diet in the wild is water buffalo, scapegoat, deer, and wild boar.
Their diet in prison is substantially funking, horsemeat, or kangaroo meat five days a week. They also gormandize on bones doubly a week in prison.

With assembly elections in West Bengal less than a year away, the Bengali Hindu techno-savvy face of global female entrepreneurship can be useful to BJP, to say the least. Her administrative utility at Facebook India, telling internal moderators at Facebook that taking down hate posts by BJP legislators and other party members would not suit the company’s immense market interests and profit-motives in India, certainly could be rewarded with an afterlife of offline gain. Ankhi Das exiting Facebook wouldn’t change a thing, given that Shivnath Thukral, WhatsApp’s public policy director in India, has been asked to take up the interim role.
