how many more contestants remain standing, now? ahri's eyebrows furrow together, gently creasing the space between them as she tries to recall who all has been lucky enough to escape unscathed of the emperor's disappointment. her tails sway from side to side, the tips flicking rapidly at the ends once she decides it's not worth the headache to think about. she has to outlast them, and she shouldn't have to resort to foul play or dirty tricks to claw past everyone and step to the top, if for naught else but to prove that she belongs. if ahri does reign victorious, she's sure the rest of her competition will chalk it up to K / DA favoritism regardless of how well - suited her answers have been, but she thinks she doesn't care, as long as she gets there in the end.

ahri pulls her long, inky hair up into a tight high - ponytail today, and it begins to waterfall down hair back in soft, gentle waves just behind her ears. the longer locks of her fringe frame her heart - shaped face, curtaining along the sides and brush gingerly against her skin. today's outfit is a form - fitting cocktail dress with off - the - shoulder sleeves hugging tight to her skin and an open neckline. something semi - formal for taking a stroll where kayn keeps his collection of art from all across the universe is fitting, isn't it? the dress is a bright red, matched with a rouge just as flattering painted over her full lips. wrapped around her torso and draped over her arms is a faux white - fur boa, which she hugs against her stomach while she walks. elegant, as always; ahri is never anything dressed short of perfection.

especially if she's within eyesight of kayn. she never knows when she'll be able to run into him, so she's dressed to the nines at any given opportunity.

when ahri finally gets her fill of browsing upon all the beautiful pieces of art, some even made in the emperor's image, she begins making her way towards the interview location. it doesn't seem to take long while her mind roams in her sea of thoughts; these days, she feels so much more prone to daydreaming. the effect of the emperor, surely.

ahri smiles warmly upon the crew when she finally arrives, nodding here and there to everything without really noting what's being said until finally, today's prompt hits her. they ask her to close her eyes, and she raises a brow but eventually obeys. it makes sense once they dive further in, and when she opens her eyes, kayn is indeed beside her. she can't help the grin that crawls over her lips, slow like frost creeping in over glass in frigid winters. there's little of her that kayn hasn't already touched, but she'll never say no to his hands upon her.

her expression is knowing and sly, eyes half - lidded and swirling with the most sultry touch as she stares down at his hands. the bite to her lower lip is instinctual, and she reaches forward to grasp for both of his hands, raising them high to place just above her chest to allow him to feel her smooth, bare skin, but she doesn't stop there. ahri draws his hands even higher and curls his fingers just a breath around her delicate neck. " my neck, " ahri finally says, keeping her eyes pinned to kayn's face while she smirks up at him, and she's sure that he can hear the smugness in her voice. " he knows why. "

I hope everyone's feeling rested, refreshed, and up-to-date on everything K/DA! That was quite a presentation, wasn't it? How kind of our emperor to put on something that ... lengthy! It was a nice teambuilding exercise, but unfortunately I don't think his excellence will be so generous this time around, so I hope all of our contestants have brought their A-game as we head into the second half of 𝐄𝐕𝐈𝐋 𝐄𝐌𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐎𝐑 𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐋𝐎𝐑!
