What's your favorite platonic wbk pairing and/or group and what do you love most about their dynamic? 👀

OUR BELOVED TRIO IS ALREADY A GIVEN (WHO DOESN'T LOVE THEM LOL)

But I guess I want to make a special mention of Sakura and Nirei.

Like, they make good complement of each other! And what I love the most about this pair? Their growth.

I'm not yet ready to so full-blown analysis so I'll keep it very short for now.

If you compare how they were during the KEEL fight and the recently ended Noroshi war, you can see how much they improved (both in fighting and character).

During KEEL, we see Sakura being thrown off his focus, overwhelmed by the situation. While Nirei's ardent but reckless desire to become useful not only endangered him but also gave others a pretty bad scare (goshhh just look how Suo reacted).

The image of Nirei beaten up fairly traumatized Sakura that it resurfaces on Sakura's mind whenever his friends/allies are also beaten up (see Ch75, ch137). And I somehow believe this image will definitely cross Sakura's mind again when we get to Nirei's arc.

But come Noroshi war, both Sakura and Nirei showcased how far they've come. Sakura is finally able to trust his comrades (oh Sugi) and learning the importance of team play. Then we have Nirei who did his best to assist the others while Suo had to deal with his gymnast of a date. He helped others fight without being the subject of worry.

There really is just something in Sakura-Nirei dynamic that's so endearing to me. ILOVETHEMLOTSSS

Honorable mention:

Sako and Kaji

Both so attached to Hiragi but so contrasting on how they act upon that. And can I mention how these two being connected Sako and Kaji being connected since childhood simply let them be their selves despite the years of drift. See Kaji's calm and his very soft smile during the bbq party as proof

Funny how despite Kaji being known by many as a violent kid, we can see him quite calm around his long time buddies, especially Hiragi. And btw, look at the page on the right. KAJI DOESN'T HAVE HIS HEADPHONES (I don't know if this is deliberate but we know how very very very important it is to him). Hiragi is with them alright, BUT here, Kaji looks like he enjoys listening to Sako. He's oozing with a kind of calm that differentiates with his calm when he is with his vice caps (to me, at least).

And even though we didn't really get much, Kaji can't afford to and refuse to snap back against a very edgy Sako.
