Kazuya is 15 years old, she lives in the fire nation, also known as Japan now. From a young age she knew fire and water bending, because her mom is a fire bender and her dad a water bender from the southern water tribe. When she was aged 10, air nomads stopped by to officially give her the title of avatar. she goes to Kunugigaoka Junior High. Because of low grades caused by avatar training she gets thrown into E class and loses all of her friends. She has to keep the fact she is the avatar a secret from her fellow classmates.
