I wanna give y’all some pack lore! I’ve been really into packs recently and I need someone to talk to about it. You may be asking yourself why not go to the discord where people can respond? Well, I wanna make my thoughts official on the official blog.

-There are 3 main roles in a pack: the pack alpha, the pack beta, and the pack omega. A lot of packs don’t usually have a pack beta, but pack betas make their lives much easier.

-To be in a fully mated pack, everyone gets a bite from the pack alpha, and then they can communicate through the bond instead of verbally.

-Usually multiple packs get together and form a large safety pack, but not everyone is bonded. They usually choose a pack alpha for all of the packs, but that’s usually only for the other pack alphas to listen to.

-Pack alphas provide safety and protection to the pack and can comfort other alphas in the pack much easier. They’re usually the most dominant ones and can get aggressive easily.

-Pack betas focus on the harmony of the pack. They’re the ones most focused on the emotional state of the pack. They know when things are going amiss and can settle it quickly.

-Pack omegas bring nurturing and calmness to the pack. There can only be one omega per pack because they’re extremely territorial and aggressive when it comes to their pack, unless the omega was bonded to another omega(s) before joining the pack.

-Usually most mated packs have anywhere from 2-10 alphas and betas and 1 omega.

-Of course monogamy exists in this world too, but I’m speaking mostly on polyamorous packs.

-Mated packs overrule safety packs most of the time. If a pack alpha of a mated pack says it’s too dangerous for his pack members, the safety pack alpha has to reevaluate the situation.

Hello! This is a post looking for long term rp partners!

I’m 25 and I’m looking for someone (18+) to start some fandom rps with me, specifically based around the ship Gallavich (Ian and Mickey) from Shameless.

I would like to play as Mickey so I’m looking for someone to play as Ian. I’m happy to do either au or canon plots, although I do have a soft spot for AU’s or canon divergence plots. I am super open to all plot types from canon to fantasy to historical to sci-fi. Literally anything! I specifically enjoy writing stories based in the omegaverse, fantasy/supernatural plots (vampires and werewolves etc), family centred stories (specifically mpreg) mafia/criminal underworld settings, and darker plots, but I’m really open to anything and everything. I have no triggers.

Also nsfw scenes are totally okay, but I would prefer to play as the bottom character (I know, sorry!)

I am pretty active, and will respond multiple times a day (if I can’t I will let you know) and I usually write 1-3 paragraphs, although they can be much longer depending on my mood and the point of the story we’re at. I don’t really have the mental energy to keep up with novella style length responses, but I can try and adjust writing length if needed.

hi tags ! a friend and i have a little extra time until the end of the year so we were thinking of creating a temporary, omegaverse oc krp hosted on mewe that will run until january. before we start working on it, we want to know if it would be worth our time and yours ! we know there are a couple of omegaverse places in the tags right now, but we haven't seen one of this concept, and it's something we're excited about !

the vibe is a cruise ship that boards in south korea and tours southeast asia with different ports and stops, introducing a new mini event to the roleplay every couple of weeks along with some prompts and games scattered in every few days as well. there will be staff options to choose from ( or bring your own ! ) so there are built in connections or you can be one of our guests in any of the mixed accommodation levels depending on your budget -- and of course nothing but the best for our vip clients !

and while we said we had a little extra time, we definitely do mean little. we would love to pick up an additional mod or two to help us with all our events and queuing ads as well.

A/B/O Betas and scents - loververse

hey hey! As I've been yapping about, in my omegaverse, loververse, expanding on beta's and how essential they are too society is a high priority. Especially since loververse is set in a universe with both humans and shifters, beta's need to have distinguishing features and roles.

I've known for a while that I want beta's in the loververse to have abilities related too suppressing and inducing mating cycles, I think it has a lot of potential for deeper beta involvement in stories even if the main pairing is traditional alpha/omega. Also loververse is a norse inspired setting where shifters are understood as magical but in reality are inter-dimensional in origin so the normal plot convenient but hard to find heat/rut suppressants whatchmacallit doesn't make a lot of logical sense.

Enough rambling, here is the actual lore

Betas are the only ones born with an high innate ability to control their own scent, how strong it is at a particular moment, slight alterations to be more omega or alpha depending on what the situation requires, how far it spreads ect. This is a skill alphas and omegas can learn, but it requires extensive personal training from a beta.

With some training, most betas are easily able to temporarily scent shift too another shifters scent.

Scent shifting is easiest however if there is some sort of bond linking them, however tangentially that is.

If a pack member's brother(Origin pack bond) has a mate, a beta could scent shift too the mate without having met the mate.

But if there is a new pack member that has no bond to anyone the beta is bonded too, they could not scent shift into them, unless the beta is a master of the craft.

If a alpha or omega is already at least two days into a mating cycle, a beta can simply scent shift into them. Smelling their own scent from another source causes the heat/rut to be suppressed, they would need to be around the beta constantly until the day their cycle would naturally end.

Conversely, if this is done outside of when the mating cycle would occur, this induces a heat/rut. The timing of the alpha/omega's next one is unaffected.

If there's a pack member who has a missing mate, even temporarily, its quite common for a beta to move in with them and scent shift into the mate as needed to ease the difficulties that come with it.

Inducing heats/ruts to overlap, prolong, sync up a heat/rut are all frequent practices

Doubling a mating cycle, inducing one with the next one due soon will always require orgies, it is quite literally physically impossible for one person to sate a doubled heat/rut.

For above point, due to magic or something, the physical impossibility can be anything the author wants, huge dick? double penetration? too much cum? go for it.
