Yes man is a PDQ-88b securitron that was knocked out by Benny from a pulse grenade, stolen, and reprogrammed by Emily Ortal to be a kiss A$#

Yesman is physically incapable of disagreeing and insulting the person he's talking to. Although he is more than capable of doing so if he's talking to someone else, just as long as that person hasn't shown distaste to him doing that. Insults are pretty tame though, as he is physically incapable of sounding like he WANTS you to know he's mad.

Yesman is important in the independent vegas/Wild card ending. You kill Mr, House and upload him into Mr. House's big ol screen where he remains until the final part of the game with the battle of Hoover dam. Where he throws the general of the NCR (I think it's the general? Who cares he's dead now) off the dam, and then reveals that Mr. House had some code that would make him as he says 'more assertive' and that he'll look like he's offline for a non specific amount of time, then just... rolls off

He's name dropped like twice in the slideshow, so it's never explained on.. well F#@%!#$ ANYTHING after he leaves. It almost feels like it got cut from the game? from how oddly specific he went into how he'll be offline and all that, which isn't TOO farfetched considering the deadline for the game

------Analysis------

- Yes man seems aye-OK with killing. He doesn't care about any important people you slaughter, if not happy about it. He is completely unfazed when you say you killed benny, and will only bring him up when talking about the platinum chip and how he has it, or an occasional opinion he had. He has no attachment to his original manufacturer Mr. House unless it's plans to kill him. Honestly he really only cares about having you take over, and shows no genuine attachment for anyone unless they are talking to him (this is a bit of a Grey area, as he only talks to you in game. With ONE line to the general) he's usually thrilled about killing. And is implied to be frustrated that he usually CANT kill people (this part isn't really brought up on, so I it could be wrong. Feel free to have this as a headcanon though)

-Yes man is technically immortal. Whenever the body he occupys is destroyed, he transfers to a new one. If you were to destroy his body before transferring him to the lucky 38 (which is pretty easy as he won't fight back) he will respawn back at the room. I have no clue where he's getting the body's from. As he only learns what the outside looks like when he moves to.. the outside. It's never said how he gets back to the room. You can also use him as a unlimited source of scrap metal!

- It's pretty obvious when he disagrees with you as he gets SUPER passive aggressive. Like, cartoonishly so. To the point where he almost sounds like he's in pain when he does it... which is a lot.

- Although he never outright says he enjoys helping with the wildcard ending (without an added 'whether I want to or not!' Shtick) He gets super passive aggressive if you say anything that would imply that you think it's a dumb idea, (possibly) showing that he thinks this is the superior option to anyone he's talking to. Which I guess makes sense, considering that's what he was reprogrammed for-

- he has a mild lisp. You can faintly hear it wherever he pronounces his 's' (esses? S's? Es's?)

- it's pretty obvious that most of the stuff he says to people are only the opinions the person he's talking to would be happy about, but there are parts where his reprogramming is ingraved into him. For instance he states he feels annoying whenever he needs to repeat himself. So when he has the ability to. We will give you a note to re-explain whatever you wanted:

The thing is - and I really HATE admitting this - I can’t upgrade the Securitrons over at the Fort from here in the Lucky 38... I can’t establish a reliable connection, and I’m sure it’s all my fault somehow.

But if you took the Platinum Chip to the Fort, you could perform the upgrade yourself. Just a suggestion!

Kai: The courier and the savior of the N.C.R's expansion

Prologue:The nights were the worst when you had no one to spend it with, so Kai always hung around the bands of N.C.R soldiers since he'd become a pseudo member himself. Ever since the battle at hoover dam he'd spent most of his time with 1st Recon Alpha in Forlorn hope, after all Ten of Spades made a hell of a drinking buddy and Bitter root was always fun to hang out with, though he still enjoyed wandering the waste more than staying still. He'd even got permission from high command to do some work with local factions to disperse food and supplies for the locals, even non N.C.R citizens but they said whatever went wrong with them would come out of his pocket. Only time anything ever went wrong was a rebel group of Kings started to take outpost in the strip. The only bad part of house dying was his robots getting deactivated with him 'cause damn would those things make for some good security.

Kai had entered the strip three years ago for the first time, at least to his memory. He might had entered it before being shot in the head but he doubted it. All the lights and music and drunks in the streets drove him slightly crazy, and to add to the was it reeking of upper class hatred of humanity. He couldn't stand half of the people on it but a few were ok.

He remembered smiling as he shot House's mummified corpse of a body after all of the stories House had said to him about being the only hope for humanity while shooting any poor person who dared tread on the door step of his castle town. He laughed at the thought as he entered the Tops casino, He had been sent by the republic after they had heard a tip that someone was planning to take over the strip from their noses. Once again their lack of resources bit them on the ass. Even with the Dam in their hands their recruitment numbers were down and God knows what'd happen if they tried to start a draft. So they brought the Savior of Hoover Dam back out to fix a problem. Kai didn't mind though, afterall this was much easier than almost dying to Praetorians in that damned fort. He walked up to swank and smiled.

"Tell ya the truth Kai, I ain't never been bettah. Since Bennie started swinging with the Angels he left the old head spot for me. He wrote it in his damn will if you'd believe me."

"I don't think Mccarran would enjoy hearing of someone trying to kill the 'Savior of The Republic' now would they, swank?" Kai put the gun back in its holster under the jacket courier 6 had given him after they had walked out of The Divide.

Swank looked at the camera and shook his head. "Alright I called them off."

"Good, I'm going to Bennie's suite. If I'm followed you won't be going home tonight ok?"

"Yes sir." So Kai went up to Bennie's suite unfollowed only to find a robot.

"Allow me to introduce myself! I'm a PDQ-88b Securitron, but you can call me Yes Man!" Bennie was smarter than any had expected, Kai thought as he went through asking him what he was there for. After learning that he was made by Bennie to take over the strip and that he couldn't do anything but follow the orders you gave to him, Kai thought for a second.

"You're gonna come with me and take over the Securitrons. But you're gonna serve the N.C.R, You got that."

"Well, I mean if we'd have done this earlier you could be running the strip yourself but since I can't say no lead the way." And so Kai did and he put him in the lucky 38. Finally with the securitrons operational again they brought back order to the strip, and with the extra man, well robot, power from the securitrons the Republic finally was able to properly control the mojave.

Elisavet struggled to breathe, the Generals hands tight around her neck. She had been bested, her ammo depleted. Now, there she was, laying on the ground. Enemy choking her out. Multiple bleeding wounds all over her body.

Her world swam, all she could hear was the shooting, and the blood rushing in her ears. She felt helpless, pinned to the ground by her neck. Black crept into the edges of her vision, and she almost felt something like peace wash over her.

It was fitting. Dying for a better New Vegas.

She just wanted to see the Mojave thrive. To see her neverending work finally bear fruit.

She could feel herself going limp without wanting to, and no panic filled her. Maybe the Ultrajet and Med-X was making it easier. Maybe it was her brain trying to trick her into accepting her fate.

She could only defy death for so long.

Elisavet weakly clawed at the hands around her throat one last time, her eyes squeezed shut.

She wheezed, struggling to get even a small breath in. Suddenly, the hands were being ripped from her throat. She felt his weight disappear from her chest, and she started coughing violently, desperately trying to gulp in air.

She couldn't hear a single thing. Not even the blood rushing in her body. Her head swam, her whole world was unsteady, the flat ground beneath her feeling more unstable than rotten wood. The heavy Pip-Boy on her wrist keeping her tethered to the ground.

Once she caught her breath, she cracked open an eye, and she saw General Lee Oliver being tossed from the top of the Dam.

She couldn't help but smile, knowing exactly which securitron had come to her rescue. A very specific PDQ-88b Securitron. Her favorite securitron.

Just as they had joked about many times before... Yes Man threw the general off the Dam, putting an end to the NCR in her New Vegas.

She closed her eyes again and laid there. Her body too heavy to move. Not even to fumble for a Stimpak, or even another shot Med-X to numb the horrible pain.

She could hear the securitrons rolling around her, chasing away the stragglers and executing the ones who continued to fight.

She had lost allies. Many of them.

She had almost lost herself. Her chance at a better New Vegas.

Had it been worth it?

She didn't know. It was it the beginning.

Elisavet heard a securitron wheel up close to her, she winced as she opened one eye just a bit. She saw a bright screen, then the details came into focus.

His claws gently tightened around her, and he lifted her from the cold ground.

Elisavet could still feel the chems coursing through her veins still, the only thing keeping her lucid at this point. She could still hear the gunfire echoing in her head, even though it had mostly stopped.

She focused on Yes Man, the rest of the world melting away from her. She was safe now. She smiled and felt herself start to cry. If he was there... Then it was really over. She was going to be safe, and he would make sure of it.

Feeling safe, in the wasteland, as the biggest target left standing...

Well, it made her stomach flip, like cazadores buzzing around.

Safe.

It didn't matter what Yes Man was saying, she was slipping away. She closed her eyes, and slipped off feeling his voice vibrating in her chest.

She would wake up somewhere safe.

Turkish Ministry of Defense receives letter of offer and acceptance for U.S. F-16 fighters

The US approved the sale of F-16 and modernization kits for $23 billion to Turkey in January 2024

The U.S. Department of Defense has officially transmitted the "Letter of Offer and Acceptance" describing the terms for the acquisition of F-16 Block 70 fighters by Turkey to the Ministry of National Defense of Turkey.

The Turkish Ministry of Defense confirmed this in an official statement, stating: "In alignment with the requirements of our Air Forces Command, the 'Project Letters of Offer and Acceptance' sent by the U.S. regarding our request for the acquisition of 40 new F-16 Block-70, the modernization of the existing 79 F-16s and the supply of ammunition, materials and equipment were received by our Ministry."

Regarding the subsequent steps in the acquisition of F-16 Block 70 fighters by Turkey, the ministry stated that both the U.S. and Turkey will meet after the completion of the exams. Joint evaluations will take place, finalizing the agreement and starting the schedule. The prices, based on the list and the products, will be disclosed in the final phase of the agreement, which includes Turkey's proposal for production and modernization activities submitted to the US authorities.

On January 26, 2024, the U.S. Department of Defense issued a foreign military sales (FMS) notification for the sale of F-16 Block 70 aircraft to Turkey. The notification covered the sale of 40 F-16 Block 70 fighters, 79 F-16 Block 70 modernization kits and a variety of follow-up equipment, with a budget totaling approximately US$ 23 billion. Among the 40 F-16 Block 70, 32 will be configured as single-seater aircraft and 8 will be configured as two-seater aircraft.
