Happy Thanksgiving/November 28!

Ignoring the Thanksgiving "America Rules" whitewashing when we committed atrocities against the true Americans. I will take a moment to be thankful for what I have today. I am very thankful this year for all of the friends I've made and all of the stories I've gotten to share with y'all. Not to be too dramatic or get too real but this year hasn't been the easiest for me and having this little website and community sure has put salve on some of the sadness. Let's go forth and keep supporting each other and making a community that we can all be thankful for.

I read a lot of words this year. A LOT. 🫣

~8 million words (yes, I kept track 🤓 for S&G) that made me laugh, cry, feel squishy, inspired, and continue to live rent-free in my brain. Below are some of the words I loved the most. “You’ve got no idea what you’re doing to me, do you, cariño?” His voice is low and rough, like a whisper laced with danger.  

Your breath hitches, your lips parting as if to answer, but nothing comes out. The intensity in his gaze keeps you pinned in place, your heart is pounding as heat blooms in your chest.  

“Stealing my shirt, walking around, smelling like me,” he murmurs, stepping closer. His hand skims up your arm until it settle on your shoulder. His fingers curl into the fabric there, tugging it just enough to make you feel the weight of his hold. “Were you hoping I'd catch you? Hmm? That I’d come in here and do something about it?”  

“Javi, I—”  

“Don’t lie to me,” he interrupts, his tone sharp but laced with a heat that makes your knees feel weak. He leans in, his breath ghosting over your ear as he growls, “You know exactly what you’re doing, princesa.”  

Your hand finds his chest, your fingers touch the bare skin just peeking out from the unbuttoned top of his shirt. He’s close now, so close you can feel the warmth radiating off of him. You can smell the faint mix of cologne and cigarettes that cling to him like a bad habit

“You want me to lose control, don’t you?” His lips brush your temple, soft and fleeting, before trailing down to the corner of your jaw. “You want me to pin you down, show you just how dangerous this game you’re playing really is.”

Din Djarin x f!reader. Canon-compliant slow burn that I began in May of 2023 and finally finished in December of 2024. It's far and away the longest thing I've ever written, and I'm so incredibly proud of all the work that went into it and how it turned out.

Work of Art

Marcus Acacius x pregnant f!reader. An AU oneshot that I wrote for @joelmillerisapunk's PPCU Body Worship Writing Challenge before Gladiator II was released and all we had were promo pics and a trailer. I never expected this fic to take off in the way that it did, and I'm so grateful that it has. I am so in love with Acacius, I barely know what to do with myself, so to get to share that with others is so much fun.

I'd Like To...

Din Djarin x plus size f!reader. A modern, dating app AU oneshot that I wrote for @hellishjoel's Hot DILF Summer Challenge. This was absurdly fun to write - so much so that it quickly ballooned to a whopping 18K words when it was never meant to be more than 7K at the most. I am completely obsessed with this couple, and I have resolved to coming back and writing for them again in the new year. They deserve it.

Just wanna lova ya, Sugar with Jack Daniels. This one isn't anywhere. It needs a lot more. It was a challenge @fhatbhabiee threw at me.

Coasting through the Rainbow with Javier Pena. On Tumblr and AO3. It's a queer fic that I need to finish that @perotovar and @julesonrecord looked over my bullet points for. I really want to finish this one, I only have half of it written.

Foul Play with Javier Pena. @magpiepills read over this one for me and if she likes it so do I. On AO3 currently, it's a different sort that I haven't written but I enjoy that the OC is devious and Javi is right there with her. 😎 This one is dark adjacent? Or maybe a sexual thriller? Or my attempt at one. lol

Within a Grumpy Spider's Web with Miguel O'Hara. An Oscar Issac character that I haven't written before. On AO3 and I like the push and pull between them, if that's even the right phrasing.

A Safe Place for Us with Dieter Bravo. On Tumblr and AO3. This one is smut with feelings pretty much and there's gonna be baby eventually. 🤗 lol

Fifty-Six Wildflower Lane with Frankie Morales. On AO3 only so far. Once I think of an ending and finish it, then I'll post on Tumblr since it will actually be finished. 😆 This one is dark.

Fire and Fury with Pero Tovar. On Tumblr and AO3. My dragon lady action, enemies to lovers, we're finally getting to sort of lovers now? 😩 This one is dark too.

No One's Good Girl with Qmir. @megamindsecretlair planted this seed a while ago with her own idea. My idea came to me before I went to sleep last night so I scribbled it and told her about it and she hit me with the "are you going to write it?" So now there's lore I've made and we're on this train. It's not anywhere except some bullet points in a notes app. 🫡 This one will likely be dark.

I feel like 10 is a nice even number and plenty to work with. 😂 I have too many ideas and no endings in sight save for a few. I welcome any and all questions or comments about them. I will likely ramble so be prepared. 🤭
