The first character I first fell in love with: 

like everyone i saw speedwagon get kicked in the face by jonathan and then become his best friend and was like ‘fucking sweet’

The character I never expected to love as much as I do now:

ive slowly come around to giorno and (to a lesser extent) diavolo after my first experience with part 5 being the garbage scans. giorno feels like araki’s awkward middle child between jojos that are barely the main characters in their parts (jotaro, josuke) and excellent protags (jolyne, johnny, gappy), hes not as good as the later ones but that spark is undeniably there

The character everyone else loves that I don’t:

i *like* the part 5 cast now but i still feel like i dont like them as much as everyone else, especially narancia. josuke and okuyasu too, they just dont have enough depth for me to love

The character I love that everyone else hates:

i dont know anybody that outright hates her, but i definitely like hermes more than most people. like okuyasu her biggest problem was araki not using her like at all, other than the sports maxx fight which is so good it makes up for it

The character I used to love but don’t any longer:

once you hit late part 7/the entirety of part 8 and araki becomes like. a serious award-winning writer its kinda hard to talk about characters in earlier parts without going ‘they basically have no depth BUT-’. probably the biggest fall off was joseph but i still consider him to be like, 4th or 5th best jojo

The character I’d want to be like:

ehhh jojo characters are either assholes or have very hard lives, i dont think id want to be like any of them

A pairing that I love:

gappy/yasuho is good, although their relationship didnt necessarily need to be romantic. kira/shinobu for purity. jobin/mitsuba for hot beetle sex

A pairing that I despise:
