i know i get nowhere by asking arktwend/nehrim/enderal lore continuity questions because most of it was retconned, but exactly how does the 7-stage civilization cycle relate to the fate cycle? i’m so confused
#vyn lore discussion#ok so the fate cycle goes like this afaik:#1) the light-born rise to power#2) the envoy of fate (idk who that is. my guess is the eliath) retrieves someone from a pocket dimension and makes them a mage in some way#3) this mage finds themselves in tirmatral and becomes the shadowgod#4) first light-born is killed. rebellion ensues#5) the predestination of the tel'imatath is publicized and another shadowgod comes#6) the new shadowgod kills the rest of the light-born#then it repeats with new light-born#we know there are at least two of these in the current cycle. one from the 4000s to the 8200s and there was most likely one before that#due to a similar time frame#but exactly how does it relate. how many are there. is it bound to specific stages#oh yeah in step 6 the new shadowgod kills the personification of fate. thats sarantha this time around#so again. if anyone has any hcs about this.#i feel like i'm talking to an empty room and hearing my voice echo but y'know. y'all followed me for a reason
