when i catch myself thinking "maybe i'm not really autistic..." i have to remember: covid
#ive talked about it before but due to quarantine i haven't left the house much#since early 2020#so ive been 1) in a stable environment where things are routine#2) my family is pretty mild-mannered so there are rarely times where they cause sensory overload#3) im constantly around people i know well and thus can communicate with very easily#4) when i do go out it's for things like grocery shopping#that while loud and hectic at times doesn't require much interaction at all and is also very routine#5) since im calm and stable most of the time my 'battery is full' almost always#so i don't get as overwhelmed when interacting with strangers these days#tldr: i probably am it just doesn't feel like it because it affects socialization and i haven't done much of that lately#mickey.txt
