Installation Procedure
Perkins EST Diagnostic Adapter- High Quality
NOTICE
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.
Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
1. Ensure that all components of the exhaust
manifold are free from wear or damage. replace any component that is worn or damaged.
2. If necessary, follow Step 2.a through Step 2.k to
assemble the assembly of exhaust manifold (3)
a. Ensure that Position (X) and Position (Y) for
rear exhaust section (8), center exhaust section (9), and front exhaust section (11) are clean and free from wear or damage.
b. Apply Tooling (A) in Position (X) and Position (Y).
c. Place center exhaust section (9) in a suitable support.
d. Install rear exhaust section (8) to center exhaust section (9).
e. Install front exhaust section (11) to center
exhaust section (9).
f. If necessary, Apply Tooling (A) to taper lock
studs (10). Install taper lock studs to center
exhaust section (9). Tighten the taper lock studs to a torque of 18 N·m (159 lb in).
g. If necessary follow Step 2.h through Step 2.k to install heat shield (14) to rear exhaust section
(8).
h. Position heat shield (14) onto rear exhaust
section (8).
i. Install, bracket (12), bracket (13), and spacers (16).
j. Install nuts and bolts (15) to bracket (12) and
bracket (13). Ensure heat shield (14) is correctly positioned onto rear exhaust section (8).
k. Tighten nuts and bolts (15) to a torque of
55 N·m (41 lbft). Ensure that heat shield (14) remains correctly positioned on rear exhaust section (8)
2023A& 2022A Perkins EST Electronic Service Tool Diagnostic Software Full Provide Installation Service 3. If necessary, apply Tooling (A) to the threads of taper install taper lock studs (7). Install the lock studs to the cylinder head. Tighten the taper lock studs to a torque of 18 N·m ( 159 lb in).
4. Install new gaskets (6), sleeve assemblies (5), and new gaskets (4).
5. Install Tooling (B) in positions shown in Illustration 164 .
6. Install the assembly of exhaust manifold (3).
7. Install spacers (1). Apply Tooling (A) to the threads of new locknuts (2) and install the nuts.
8. Tighten locknuts (2) to a torque of 35 N·m (26 lbft) in the numerical sequence shown in Illustration
164 .

So you want to read Marvel comics
A while back I made a post of Marvel & DC comics that would make a good intro into the world of comics, and I thought it was time for an update. So here’s some more short run Marvel comics to try if you’re just getting into comics (or some recs for those of you who already are).

1. X-Club (2012) - 5 issues.
I’m always a little wary of recommending Si Spurrier’s Marvel comics to new readers, because no matter what Marvel want him to do he writes in a universe largely divorced from continuity. That said, the Marvel universe in his head is a glorious mess of high camp, melodrama and comedy and I love it. X-Club is one of his best Marvel works, focussing on the scientists who surround the X-Men. Funny, silly and with some great character moments.

Starring: Dr Nemesis, Kavita Rao, Danger, Madison Jeffries
Best for fans of comedy action
2. New Warriors (2014) - 12 issues
This book got cancelled just as it was really finding its feet, but while I would have loved to see more, they did a great job of wrapping up most of their plot threads in time for the issue 12 finale. Like all the best Marvel comics, this is best described as a romp, about superpowered teenagers taking on a villain called the High Evolutionary (whose whole deal is furries). I read it knowing nothing about most of the characters and was rarely confused, despite it being a sequal to previous New Warriors books. A great introduction to one of Marvel’s perennial teen teams.

This is the first in a 3 part series, followed by Angela 1601 and Angela: Queen of Hel, all of which are wonderful. Do you want transwomen? Do you want women of colour? Do you want women loving women while also having space-opera adventure quests? Then you need Angela and her wife Sera, here to bring you the good news of queer comic-book writers. Honestly I can’t tell you how good the Angela series is - you need to go read it for yourself. Plus it’s a veritable who’s who of Asguard, so a great introduction to that part of earth 616

5. New Avengers (2015) - 18 issues
If any comic deserved 6 season and a movie it’s this 2015 title. When Science Super-villains A.I.M run out of funds they decide to sell off the organisation. Former New Mutant Sunspot has a massive fortune, a desire to save the world, and a flair for the dramatic. It’s a match made in heaven. (Fans of the book don’t despair, it got a sequel in 2017′s U.S.Avengers).

This is classic space opera - a warring family of royalty on an epic quest to save their dying race from certain extinction. I didn’t think I liked the Inhumans until I read this book.

7. Mockingbird (2016) - 8 issues
If James Bond were an american woman with superpowers, actual human emotions and a chemistry degree, he’d be Mockingbird. Silly, heartfelt and deeply touching in places, this is one of my favourite short comics. Aided by her current boyfriend and his pet Corgi, SHIELD agent Bobbi Morse solves mysteries, fights bad guys and tries to clear her ex-husband’s name for a murder he really did commit.

Best for fans of light-hearted spy stories and geeky jokes
8. Iceman (2017) - 11 issues
I’m not going to lie, this comics was hard for me to read in places. Not because it’s bad, but because it’s good. Founding X-Man Iceman was outed as gay against his will in a controversial 2015 story. This comic follows him as he works out what his life looks like as a gay mutant, comes out to his parents, and kisses a boy for the first time. Well written and emotional, plus it’s always nice to see queer writers and artists working with queer characters. Warning that this comic deals with homophobia.

9. Hercules (2016) - 6 issues
Hercules is a laughing stock in the hero world, better known for his drinking than his heroism (even though he’s 10 months sober). Gilgamesh hasn’t left Herlcules’ couch for a month. But when terrifying new gods emerge in the modern age, the old gods are the only ones who can stop them. Epic in the old sense of the word.

10. Black Bolt (2017) - 12 issues
Black Bolt generated a lot of hype when issue 1 dropped last year, and it’s hardly surprising because this comic is something special. Betrayed by his brother, deposed monarch Black Bolt is locked away in the universe’s highest security prison. Depowered, trapped and tortured, he must rely on the help of his fellow prisoners to escape. If escape is even possible. Best read in tandem with Royals (above). Warning that the later part of this comic deals with past child neglect and emotional abuse.

DEMPAGUMI.INC - PRECIOUS SUMMER [6.62] When we last covered them, it was 4 years ago and they had 2 fewer members. We got a lot of catching up to do.
Taylor Alatorre: This sounds like someone hired a group to do the opening theme for the next YuruYuri OVA but they were deemed to be too fast and too loud, so they decided to get even faster and louder as revenge. It's cosmically hilarious that anime openings are one of the places where the insurgent spirit of punk rock remains most vibrant, albeit filtered through happy hardcore and caked in moe sensibilities. Dempagumi themselves have a mixed record when it comes to anime songs, with "Punch Line!" being weighed down by panty-related punnery that's unfortunately quite relevant to the plot. Here, with no media property attached, they're free to chase the wildest, most high-velocity sounds possible, and the listener is free to imagine whatever cute and wacky scenarios they want. The yearning power pop outro is the meaning of the song's title belatedly coming into view: that those carefree summer days are indeed precious and cannot be made to last forever, no matter what BPM you charge at them with. It makes the preceding thrill ride all the more worthwhile. [9]
Katie Gill: Initially, I was ABSOLUTELY confused because I didn't realize that "DDR song from the early 2000s mixed with that one song I can never full combo in Love Live" was a genre. And yet it is! "Precious Summer" is an example of a denpa song, a song characterized by traits like off-key vocals, an intensely over the top tune, and a generally 'weird' or 'out of touch' feel. "Precious Summer" succeeds in that regard: this song does not stop. It makes me feel like I have a caffeine buzz just by listening to it. And despite the very real people performing this, "Precious Summer" sounds amazingly fake. The vocal manipulation borders on the uncanny at times, more Vocaloid than actual person. But that's possibly the point. This is a long-winded way to say that initially I was completely baffled by this song, and now...I'm still completely baffled. But at least now I know that it's a 'this is probably not a genre for me' sort of thing. [5]
John Seroff: Combo after combo.... look at all those combos! I'm very glad this kind of frenetic jpop denpa nerdmetal exists and, in proper dosages, I've been known to indulge. It's just that when I go one toke over the line (say, past that third repeat), I feel like I'm gonna hyperventilate and die. Helluva drug! [6]
Iain Mew: One of those bits of fantastic music writing which has stuck in my brain forever is MG's groovesnjams description of Girls' Generation's "I Got a Boy" as an arcade machine attract reel. The first couple of minutes of "Precious Summer" is more like someone impatiently hammering through the game's lavish menus, intense cues piling on top of each other as they're not even given the chance to play out before the next one slices in. After that it stays exactly as ultra-demonstrative but slightly less ultra-fast, which is as close as a concession to the reasonable as you get with them. [7]
Ryo Miyauchi: The frantic electronic beat of "Precious Summer" turns up the speed by 1000% with saturated colors bleeding as if to signify the effects from the beating sun. The line distribution moves back and forth just as intense, enough to inspire some motion sickness. It's more or less what you'd expect from a Dempagumi single cashing in on the season. While the group delivers exactly what's called for, if you're familiar with Dempa, you know you don't necessarily have to wait until summertime to enjoy this kind of music from them. [6]
Jonathan Bradley: It's been a little while since I last checked in with the frenetic and eternally glitching Dempagumi.inc, and it was welcome and faintly disappointing to hear how familiar "Precious Summer" is. Welcome, because there is still so much glee in this act's overclocked call-and-response shouting and jump-cut arrangements. But listening to Dempagumi should be an off-kilter experience, one in which the horizon has not only been lost, it might have been rendered entirely unlocatable, and this song traces its shifts in pace and tone in ways that propose the confusion is a recurring set of convoluted compartments bolted together rather than ever-replenishing chaos. Still, fitting for a tune with a title Joyce Manor could borrow, "Precious Summer" is the nearest this band has come to pop-punk, and that's a good fit for them; the counter-melody on the outro could have been sung by Tom DeLonge on a Blink-182 track in 2001. [7]
Joshua Minsoo Kim: There's a lot of innate energy in a colorful denpa song like this, but the longer it goes on, the more that any and all excitement is squeezed out. While the normalization of these ostensibly disparate elements is fine, it reveals how "Precious Summer" could use stronger songwriting to compliment all the accouterments. The vocal melody that graces the outro almost convinces me that the rest was worthwhile. [5]
Rebecca A. Gowns: I know next to nothing about J-pop, so I usually abstain from writing about it. This time, the video intrigued me, resurfacing fuzzy memories of watching Lucky Star and K-On during a lazy summer 10 years ago. The association isn't random, as it looks like Dempagumi.inc's whole thing is being a group of otaku girls who got together to try and make it as an idol group. Musically, it reminds me of those shows' openings: plucky girls singing rapidly, stream-of-consciousness, shouting interjections, quirky and cute in an extremely conscious way. Wikipedia tells me that Dempagumi's music is not just idol music, it's also denpa, which I haven't seen other writers reference here before. Suddenly the anime theme songs and Dempagumi's songs are outlined with a more cohesive thread -- this is the sound of electromagnetic waves infiltrating your brain. Now I get it. This performance is exactly what you dream about after watching too many episodes of "Lucky Star" on a hot summer day. The memory comes to me more clearly now, and I appreciate this song for what it evokes; that feeling of being a young girl with in the throes of a sticky, depressed mania, and grabbing onto cute pop culture and happy make-believe as if it was a life preserver. The Mechanical Splices For Concrete Rebar
Mechanical splices are used to establish a mechanical connection between two pieces of reinforcing steel in concrete construction for joining reinforcing bars. The mechanical splicing system aligns and secures the joined rebar ends in an in-line connection suitable to meet appropriate splice requirements.
Mechanical splices are being adopted in project sites due to their flexibility of use in congested reinforcement places at construction joints. These connections are also more reliable than the lap systems because they do not depend on the concrete for load transfer. 5 – Level each block independently, then all blocks with each other. If one block is too high, remove some material underneath; if it is too low, add some gravel.
6 – Screw joists together to close the frame.
7 – Ensure that it is level and adjust if necessary.
Pro tip
An asphalt shingle makes for an excellent shim that holds up well to moisture and temperature changes.

1 – Determine the exact location of the concrete piers so the outside edges of the 4” x 4” timbers are aligned with the string. As with the on-grade foundation with concrete blocks, at least 8 piers plus one in the center will be necessary. Therefore, provide for a minimum of 9 piers.
2 – Use a posthole auger to dig holes 10” to 12” in diameter and approximately 54” deep, depending on the area.
3 – Pack the bottom of each hole and add a 6” layer of 0-¾” crushed stone for drainage.
4 – Insert a cardboard form tube in each hole and cut to leave 6” above ground level.
5 – Ensure that the form tubes are level with each other. Measure diagonal lengths to verify the foundation is square.
6 – Backfill the exterior of the tubes.
7 – Pour concrete into the form tubes.
8 – Insert a steel bar into every form tube to reinforce the pier and minimize structural damage due to frost.

9 – Insert the rods of the hangers in the center of each pier and 1” of thread above the surface.
10 – Level all hangers or J-Bolts to the same height.
11 – If you used a J-Bolt: when the cement has dried, secure the post base hanger by orienting the side plates so that the pressure-treated 4” x 4” sits on top.
12 – Repeat these steps for each pier in order to complete the foundation.
Permanent foundation: concrete slab
Pros :
Suitable for larger structures installed on level ground
Solid floor for storing heavy equipment

Prone to move or crack due to seasonal freeze and thaw conditions
More expensive and complicated to install
1 – Mark off the shed perimeter with wood stakes and string.
2 – Use a line level to level the string.
3 – Measure the distance between the wood stakes and verify that the diagonal measurements are of the same length.
4 – Excavate to a depth of approximately 15″. Do not cover with a geotextile membrane or gravel.
5 – Build a solid and straight form-work around the perimeter using plywood and 2″ × 3″ pieces of lumber.
6 – Nail a 2″ x 4″ foundation sill directly to the frame to be flush with the concrete slab.
7 – Compact a bed of sand at the bottom of the form-work. Maintain a depth of at least 10″ and width of 18″ inside the perimeter. Gradually reduce to a depth of 5″ at the center of the slab. Use gravel for drainage, if necessary.
8 – Cover the surface with plastic sheeting.
9 – Cover the surface with a steel mesh to reinforce the concrete. Raise from the ground with pieces of concrete or rocks so that the reinforcing mesh will be imbedded in the center of the concrete layer. When the concrete has been poured and has dried, the steel rods will be permanently sunk.
10 – Pour concrete over the entire surface.
11 – Level the surface by dragging a straight 2″ x 4″ over the concrete.
12 – Push a bull float across the concrete to smooth the slab .
13 – Smooth the edges of the slab with an edger and use a trowel for a smooth finish on the slab.
14 – Use a groover to form control joints on the concrete surface to prevent cracks.

C2 Corvette Gets a Complete Cooling System Overhaul
The cooling system in a C2 Corvette has plenty of faults, even in the original configuration, and when you start modifying the engine the problems only get worse. The constant struggle to stay cool has created anxiety in thousands of Corvette owners, as one eye is always glued on the temperature gauge. The subject in this cooling system overhaul is a small-block car backed by a manual transmission and 4.11 gears. The healthy small-block and low rearend gears made for big fun, but anything over 55 mph for more than a few minutes resulted in overheating issues. A five-speed transmission helped matters tremendously by bringing the cruising rpm down, but it didn’t completely reduce the temperature anxiety. A generic aluminum radiator and electric fan also seemed to help, but it didn’t fit the car well enough to be considered a permanent solution.
The car’s previous cooling system eliminated the original expansion tank system. While the universal aluminum radiator was simple and effective, it was a little too tall for the car, making the hood clearance too close for comfort. The radiator hose placement also wasn’t ideal and it just didn’t have the right look. In an effort to cool this low-geared hot rod Corvette, we decided to start from scratch with a new radiator from DeWitts, a new fiberglass fan shroud from J&D Corvette and a box full of cooling system goodies from Zip Corvette.
Going from cobbled together universal parts to a selection of direct-fit parts made for an easy install. It was more work to undo the universal components than it was to install the new pieces. Everything fit as advertised and the assembly process was simply a matter of bolting factory-type pieces together, a task that we handled over the course of a few evenings in the shop. The improved stock-look aluminum radiator and flex fan is certainly capable of cooling this modified small-block, as we have been pleased to see the temperature gauge staying at 180 degrees. In addition to the improved cooling capabilities, the new components cleaned up the engine bay nicely. 1. When our 1964 Corvette coupe rolled into the garage it had a functional cooling system, but the generic aluminum radiator didn’t offer proper fitment. It was physically too tall for the car and the hose outlets were not quite right.
2. The original fan shroud was in pretty bad shape before the universal-fit radiator was installed, but you can see where modifications were necessary to accommodate the radiator hose outlets.
3. After draining the fluids and undoing the less-than-desirable cooling system repairs, we were ready to remove the generic radiator, electric fan and hacked-up shroud.
4. Since our new DeWitts radiator is a direct-fit piece, we whipped out the Zip Corvette catalog for some standard replacement parts. First up was a pair of new radiator cushions (PN WS-333) that fit into the original lower radiator mounts.
5. The radiator is DeWitts’ HP Series (PN 1249063M), which features all-aluminum construction and two rows of 1.25-inch tubes and offers 25 percent more cooling capacity than stock replacement radiators. We ordered ours in the “Black Ice” coating for an original look. The original-style dowels fit nicely into the new rubber cushions.
6. We grabbed a new radiator and shroud center bracket (PN M-259) from Zip, along with a new upper cushion (PN WS-436). We slid the cushion over the original-style tab on the radiator and then loosely installed the two bolts to hold the radiator upright.
7. It would seem natural to install the fan shroud next, but we found that installing the lower radiator hose is much easier without the shroud in the way. The radiator hoses came from RockAuto.com, but you can get them at many Corvette parts suppliers.
8. Now we can lower the J&D Corvette fiberglass fan shroud into place. Before installation, we sanded it and applied two coats of semi-gloss black paint to match the rest of the engine bay.
9. After getting it dropped into place, we installed bolts and nuts in the factory positions. Make note that the original steel shroud had built-in nuts, while our J&D Corvette replacement does not, meaning that it requires pass-through bolts and attaches with nuts and washers.
10. We tightened the side mounting bolts and then tightened the radiator and shroud center bracket bolts. That allowed us to accurately drill the hole for the only remaining fastener. After it is drilled, we install the bolt, nut and washers.
11. Final adjustments can be made to align the center bracket and then the bolts can be tightened.
12. Our six-blade flex fan can be re-installed using the existing hardware. We removed the electric fan, as the new cooling system is more than adequate for this modified Corvette.
13. Any time the cooling system is taken apart it’s a good time to replace the thermostat. It’s cheap and easy to install since you’ve already drained the coolant. We went with a 180-degree thermostat.
14. Our upper radiator hose was a little long so we trimmed it with tin snips until the fitment was perfect.
15. With the upper radiator hose installed—and the dust and our fingerprints wiped off—the new DeWitts radiator and J&D Corvette fan shroud look like factory fresh pieces.
16. Now it’s time to move onto the expansion tank. Since our previous radiator did not use an expansion tank we had removed the mounting straps and bracket. We got a new bracket (PN M-235A) from Zip Corvette and attached it to the inner fender using new bolts.
17. Next are the expansion tank straps (PN M-235). The straps are not pre-bent so we did some trial and error fitment to get an idea of the correct shape. After getting them dialed in, we attached the lower portion of the straps to the bracket.
18. The new DeWitts expansion tank (PN 421) is an exact reproduction of the original Harrison tank. We still had to do some final tweaking on the straps, and then installed the new strap bolts from Zip.
19. Another cheap and easy step for a cooling system overhaul is installing new heater hoses. You can buy the hose in bulk at the local parts store or you can buy the correct stamped hoses from any Corvette parts supplier. We opted for the parts store hoses and installed them with new clamps.
20. Another piece from the Zip Corvette catalog is this heater hose T-fitting (PN M-207). It connects the upper heater core hose to the expansion tank and allows free coolant flow from the water pump.
21. One last trip to the parts store yielded us some new heater hose fittings for the water pump and the intake manifold. We coated the threads with pipe sealant before threading them into place.
22. Although it is rather bulky, this 90-degree fitting is a much better piece than some of the chrome-plated aftermarket versions. We removed the valve cover to give us a little more room to tighten the fitting.
23. We spun the fitting until it was facing the front of the car and then trimmed the heater hose for a nice fit. Next, we trimmed and installed the lower heater hose.
24. Finally, we installed 3/8-inch hose from the expansion tank to the radiator, as well as a 3/8-inch overflow hose.
25. With a combination of parts from DeWitts, J&D Corvette and Zip Corvette, we completely overhauled this Corvette’s cooling system and gave it a super clean look. The final step was pouring a fresh mixture of coolant and water into the expansion tank and taking it for a spin … and 180 degrees never looked so good!

“So have you taken her out again?” Dave leaned back into his sofa, tipping more beer into his mouth.
Killian stared at the television, at the uniformed athletes whipping around the ice and slamming their bodies into each other. “Not yet.” This ritual of Dave’s of watching hockey was a bit foreign to him if he was honest, and the first time Dave had called and invited him over, Killian had almost refused. Now he was glad he hadn’t, as he had started to think of the other man as a friend.
Dave slapped a hand down on Killian’s knee. “Well, what are you waiting for? You’ve got to strike while the iron’s hot, buddy.”
“What does that expression even mean?”
“Hell if I know.” Dave laughed and picked up a tortilla chip from the bowl on the coffee table in front of them, his eyes trained back on the hockey game.
“I like her a lot,” Killian said. “More than I’ve liked anyone in… I don’t even know how long. I don’t want to mess this up.”
“Exactly, which is why you need to call her.”
“I don’t know. I already feel like she went on a date with me out of gratitude because I saved Henry from getting hit by a car.” He took a drink of his own beer, wishing for something harder.
“Maybe that was the catalyst, but it doesn’t sound like it was the only factor,” Dave said.
Killian sighed, rubbing his hand over his face. “She thinks I’m a fuck up.”
David turned from the TV and raised his eyebrows. “Why would she think that?”
“Because I am a fuck up, Dave.” He sighed. “I’m not the kind of guy that a nice girl’s family approves of.”
“Well, then it’s a good thing Emma’s an orphan.”
Killian laughed briefly. “I’m just saying I’m… I don’t know. Something’s wrong with me lately.”
“If you say so. I haven’t known you that long, so I don’t really have any basis for comparison.” He finished his beer and got up to head toward the kitchen for another. “I still think you should ask her out again,” he called.
“Where’s your wife this afternoon?” Killian asked when David walked back in and handed him another beer.
David shrugged. “She went out.”
“Everything okay?” Killian asked when he saw David’s sour expression.
“Not really, but that’s nothing new.”
They sat and watched TV in silence for a while. Killian figured if David didn’t want to talk about his marriage, he certainly didn’t want to push the issue.
A commercial for pizza came on, and David muted the TV. “I’m cheating on her.”
Killian blinked, turning on the sofa to face the other man. “You what?”
“I’m having an affair,” he said, and it almost sounded like he’d never said the words out loud before, like he was surprised they were coming out of his mouth. “I’m cheating on Kathryn.”
“Mate, I… don’t really know what to say.”
“Say I’m an asshole; I deserve it.” David set his beer down and put his head in his hands.
“I’m not interested in passing judgment on you, Dave. But if it’s tearing you up this much, maybe you should end it.”
David shook his head. “I’ve tried, but I… I love her too much. The thought of not being with her is torture.”
Killian couldn’t help it, he had to ask: “Who?”
“Mary Margaret Blanchard.”
Killian’s eyebrows shot up. “Emma’s roommate?”
“Yeah.”
“And does she feel the same for you?”
David nodded, still looking miserable.
“Well, in that case, you have to tell your wife. Start the process of ending this marriage. You’re doing her no favors by dragging it out if the marriage is over.”
David stood up, pacing back and forth. The hockey game came back on, but neither of them paid it any mind. “I promised Kathryn I’d try to make things work. And she’ll hate me if I break things off.”
Killian leaned back into the sofa, regarding his friend. “Yeah, she’ll hate you, but that seems inevitable no matter what you do. You’re going to have to serve some time as the villain in her life story; that’s a fact. But it seems to me that it’s a small price to pay for being with the woman you truly love.”

“I hope I didn’t text you too late,” Emma said as she hung his leather jacket up by the door. Killian looked around her apartment with interest. He figured the way it was decorated was more down to Mary Margaret than Emma, who’d only lived here for a few months, but he was still intensely curious about her living space. “I just left work, and Mary Margaret’s out, and I thought…” She shrugged, her cheeks flushing. “It might be a nice night to watch a movie or something.”
What she had texted was: wanna come over and watch a movie with me? Although, as he took a moment to stare at the way her sweater pulled tight across her breasts, he found he was much more interested in the ‘or something’.
“If it weren’t February, I would have offered to take you sailing for our second date,” he said.
“Who said this was a date?” she said with a smile.
“Touche.” Killian followed her over to the sofa.
“I didn’t realize you had your own boat,” Emma said. “Or would you steal one?” she teased.
He scoffed, rolling his eyes at her. “Sadly I don’t have my own boat at the moment, but I would borrow a boat from someone who owes me a favor; it would all be perfectly proper, Sheriff.”
Emma flopped down on the sofa and picked up the television remote, clicking it on. “Who taught you to sail?” she asked.
Killian sat down at her side, both of them looking at the screen as Emma changed channels. She kept the volume turned down low. “My brother, mostly.”
“Oh yeah? Where does he live?”
“He doesn’t,” he said, feeling an awkward smile ghost over his face. “He died.”
He could feel Emma’s eyes on him, and he kept his face impassive, watching as a news anchor talking to the camera in some studio hundreds of miles away. “You’ve had to deal with a lot of grief in your life,” she said.
“Aye.” He took a deep breath and let it out. “But it was all long ago, and I don’t want it to cast a pall over the evening.” He reached out and picked up her hand, bringing it to his lips and kissing the back of it. “I’d much rather focus on the lovely woman at my side right now.”
With a grin, Emma leaned over and kissed him; it was a brief, gentle thing, but it filled him with warmth and desire nonetheless. She’d kissed him without care, because kissing was a thing they did now. He suppressed a grin of his own.
Emma came to a channel that was showing one of those period dramas with women in high-waisted dresses and men in cravats. She turned the volume up a bit and set the remote aside, leaning her head over on his shoulder. The smell of her shampoo filling his nostrils, Killian held himself still, hoping not to dislodge her. He tried to focus on the film, but all he could think of was her. The way she had come into town, turning his whole world on its head. He knew it was too soon, knew if he said it to her, she would probably bolt, but he couldn’t deny it to himself. He was falling in love with Emma Swan.
On the screen, the protagonists looked longingly across a ballroom at each other. Emma sighed and sat up.
“I always wanted to go to a dance like this,” she said. “When I was ten years old, I used to have this fairy tale book that I would read, over and over until the book just about fell apart. And I had a Walkman that played tapes, do you remember those?” He nodded. “I would put in one of my tapes — I only had about four of them — and read about Cinderella at the ball, and imagine that I was dancing with my prince.” She shook her head. “It was a stupid, girly fantasy.”
“Not stupid, Swan.” He leaned over and nuzzled against her cheek. “It’s a lovely fantasy.”
Emma turned quickly, kissing him again. He felt like a virginal teenager, the way his heart soared when her mouth opened against his, the way he felt like he could sit here and kiss her for hours and never tire of it. The movie played on in their periphery, but he couldn’t have told anyone what was happening on the TV screen if his life depended on it. When their lips finally separated, Emma pressed her forehead against his for a moment before sighing and pulling away.
He felt like the luckiest man on Earth.
“So where would we go on this hypothetical sailing trip of yours?” Emma asked.
Killian had to think for a second to trace the thread to their earlier conversation. “No place in particular.” He squeezed her hand. “Far enough out into the bay that it’s calm and quiet. It can be quite peaceful, out there on the water. Makes your worries seem far away, like they can’t reach you.”
Emma digested this silently, her eyes flitting over his face, her top teeth pressing a small indentation into her kiss-reddened bottom lip. “Sounds nice. I hope you’re a good sailor, ‘cause I don’t know port from starboard or whatever.” She waved her hand in some vague indication of directions.
“I assure you, love, I’m quite skilled.”
She rolled her eyes at that, her cheeks turning pink. “Maybe Henry’s right, maybe you are Captain Hook.”
Captain Hook. It made his ears ring, those two words.
Killian’s heart started to rabbit in his chest, his mouth suddenly dry. “What?” he whispered.
She glanced away, her eyes captured by the moving images on the TV. “Henry likes to… pretend that the people in this town are storybook characters. Like, Mary Margaret is Snow White, stuff like that. And he said that you’re Captain Hook. Because you like sailing and your, you know…” She indicated the prosthesis on his left arm.
His vision narrowed, his heart racing. On your feet for the Captain! a distant voice seemed to call from somewhere far away.
“I mean, I hope you don’t take offense, he’s not trying to make light of your disability…”
I do consider myself an honorable man. A man with a code. Killian’s breath started coming in rapid pants, like he couldn’t get enough air into his lungs. He wondered if he was having a heart attack.
“Killian? Are you okay? Killian?” He could just make out her voice, as if it was coming down from a long tunnel. He couldn’t breathe. It felt like a heavy weight was on his chest; if he could get the weight off of his chest, then he could take a breath.
“Hey, look at me. You’re okay. Just breathe with me, okay? In… and out. In… and out.” Emma’s face swam into view, the worry painted across her features. He watched her breathe and tried to match her. Little by little, it helped. He became aware of his surroundings again, of the cold sweat between his shoulder blades.
“I’m sorry,” he said, his voice croaking out. “I don’t… I don’t know what happened.”
“Don’t apologize; focus on breathing,” she said. He realized she had dropped to her knees in front of him.
“All right.” He felt a rush of relief that he wasn’t, in fact, dying.
“Do you know what a panic attack is? Because I think you had one.” She was caressing the hair at his temple, gently combing her fingers through the short hair over and over, and it was incredibly soothing. He closed his eyes, still breathing with her. “Are you prone to them?”
“Hmm?” He had a hard time focusing on her question.
“Are you prone to panic attacks?”
He shook his head. “Lately my thoughts are… I’ve been dreaming things and imagining things that don’t make any sense.”
Emma cleared her throat, sitting beside him on the sofa again. “You mentioned nightmares before, and that you don’t sleep well. Do you think… I mean, have you ever seen a doctor or… or a therapist about all this stuff?”
“I’m not crazy,” he said, squeezing his eyes shut with embarrassment.
“Hey, didn’t say you were. But if there’s something; a medication, something — that could help you, it’s stupid to go day after day suffering. And there’s nothing wrong with seeing a therapist. Dr. Hopper—”
“I’ve no need of that bloody cricket,” he said through clenched teeth.
“Bloody what?” Emma asked with an uneasy laugh. “Yeah, I get it, he’s probably not the best. Believe me, if there were anyone else in this town that Henry could see, I’d strongly consider trying to get him transferred, but…” She took his hand. “Maybe you should try.”
“I’ll think about it,” he said, mostly to stop her from talking on this subject. What could he tell a therapist? That he dreamed of a tall ship, crewed by men out of some kind of pirate movie, that it all seemed so real, like it was a life he’d really lived? That he dreamed of Milah’s death, but the circumstances were all wrong? Worst of all, that he was visited almost nightly by a monster, whispering in his ear about things he needed to do? They’d lock him up in a padded room for sure.
“Okay,” Emma said.
When he moved to kiss her, at first he felt her tense up, but then she relaxed into it, her mouth opening against his. Very quickly the kiss became hungry and desperate, and he dropped his jaw to allow her tongue entrance. He sank his fingers into Emma’s hair, aware of the press of her thigh against his. One of her hands came up and rested against his chest, her fingernails scratching against his skin and making him shudder with how badly he wanted her.
She broke the kiss finally, breathing into his mouth, and he pulled back enough to focus on her eyes. “God, I’m the worst,” she said.
“What?” He swallowed, tried to gather his wits.
“You just had a panic attack and here I am, eating your face.”
He laughed at that. “I’m fine, and you can eat my face anytime you want.” That made her chuckle, and he pressed his smiling lips to hers again. “Emma, I…”
“Yeah?”
“I hope you know this is more than a physical thing for me,” he confessed. “When I lost Milah, I thought I’d never care for anyone again.” A half-smile quirked up one side of his mouth. “But then I met you.”
Emma seemed to be studying him, assessing him, trying to figure out if he was telling her the truth. There was mistrust in her eyes, but also a spark of hope.
“I’m telling you the truth, love,” he said.
“I know.” Her assessment continued. He hoped for a response in kind from her, but she didn’t seem inclined to say anything further. In lieu of speaking, she grabbed his shoulders and pulled him close to kiss her again. It might not have been the admission of feelings for him that he wanted, but he took it gladly.
When she started to rise up on her knees, Killian at first thought Emma was putting an end to their make-out session, but then before he quite realized what she intended, she was straddling his lap. A rush of desire flooded his system as Emma dove in for another kiss.
He wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close so that he could feel the enticing pressure of her breasts against him. He didn’t want to move too fast, especially not if she wasn’t ready, but lurid images of being without clothes in this position, of thrusting his hips to bury himself inside her, filled his head. He was hard and straining against his zipper in no time.
Emma kept kissing him, her legs widening and sliding down until she made contact with his erection, and even through their clothes it was like wildfire running through him. He couldn’t have stopped himself from moving his hips against hers, not for all the money in the world.
“Killian,” she gasped against his mouth when one thrust of his hips seemed to hit her in just the right spot, and everything was her, the smell of her skin and the taste of her mouth, the softness of her breasts and the heat of her between her legs. He wasn’t sure if he’d ever wanted anything more than he wanted her right at that instant.
The unmistakable sound of a key rattling in the lock reached their ears, and Emma jumped off of him like she’d been hit with an icy douse of cold water. “Shit,” she said, which pretty much summed it up. He quickly adjusted himself in his jeans, resisting the urge to cover his lap with a throw pillow.

“Oh, hi there,” Mary Margaret said when she saw them on the sofa. “Sorry, Emma, I didn’t know—”
Emma turned the TV off, relegating the more restrained longing of Regency England to the ether and leaving their own very real longing hanging in the air around them. “It’s no big deal, we were just hanging out.” There was an unmistakable flush on her cheeks. He figured Mary Margaret was under no illusions about what they’d been doing.
“Time for me to take my leave,” he said, standing.
“Oh, you don’t have to go on my account,” Mary Margaret said, “I can—”
“No, it’s fine; I have to awaken quite early for work.” He leaned over and kissed Emma on the cheek. “Perhaps I can see you on Saturday?” he asked softly. “We could have dinner together?”
She smiled, her eyes full of promise. “Absolutely.”

Killian took a sip from his coffee mug, reflexively reaching for the inside pocket of his leather jacket to feel for a flask. He wasn’t carrying one, for which he both congratulated and castigated himself. He’d not started drinking on the job yet, and thanks to the better part of his nature he wasn’t going to start now. But after the night he’d had, tossing and turning as vivid nightmares plagued every second of his sleep, and monstrous hallucinations most of the time he’d spent awake, a little slosh of rum in his coffee would have been a blessing.
The day was bitterly cold, and he’d closed the door to his office against the wind and falling snow. When a knock sounded, he frowned. This time of the morning all the fishing boats were out, and usually, no one bothered him. “Come in,” he called, his voice coming out raspy and gruff.
An unfamiliar man stood in the doorway. “Killian Jones?”
“Yes?”
The man walked in and held out his hand for Killian to shake. “August Booth. Good to meet you.”
Killian eyed the man’s hand without taking it. “Can I help you?”
“I hope so.” He reached into his back pocket and pulled out a piece of paper, unfolding it and laying it out on Killian’s desk. “Ever seen a dagger like that?”
Killian looked at the paper, which contained a detailed drawing of said dagger. The blade was long and ornate, curving in gentle, undulating waves as it narrowed to a point. The hilt was thick and black, and for a moment he fancied that he could feel the heft of it in his hand. A strange sense of satisfaction swelled in his chest at the imagined sensation.
He raised his eyes to August. “Nope.”
August scrutinized him carefully, his eyebrows raised. “Really? Doesn’t spark any memory at all?”
His heart racing, Killian schooled his expression, looking up at August balefully. “Should it?”
“This might be the weapon that killed Mr. Gold,” August said.
“So why isn’t the sheriff asking me about it instead of some… what exactly is your business with this?”
August folded his arms across his chest. “I’m an author, looking into the story for a possible book. People eat up this true crime shit.”
“And why exactly do you think I would know anything about this knife?” Killian leaned back in his chair, meeting the other man’s gaze.
“I interviewed the mayor, and she pointed me in your direction. Seems she and the sheriff have a disagreement as to whether you should still be under investigation for this killing.”
Killian felt his jaw spasm as he clenched his teeth. “The mayor doesn’t know what she’s talking about, so why don’t you get the fuck out of my office.”
August raised his hands defensively. “Hey, okay, no need to get violent. Just following the story where it takes me.” He picked up the drawing from Killian’s desk.
“How did you get a drawing like that, anyway?” Killian asked, curious in spite of his whirling emotions.
August broke eye contact for a moment, shuffling back and forth on his feet. “It was among Mr. Gold’s records. I managed to get a look at the coroner’s report and put two and two together.”
“So he was killed with his own knife?”
“Looks like it.”
Killian raised an eyebrow. “I assume you’ve shared this information with the sheriff, then?”
August smiled disingenuously. “Of course.” He folded the drawing and put it back in his pocket. “Thanks for your time, Mr. Jones,” he said, opening the door and going back out into the snowy cold. The door closed with a slam, aided by the wind.
Killian began to shiver, but it wasn’t the cold that caused tremors to run down his spine. With a shaking hand, he caught the cuff of his right sleeve with his prosthesis and tugged it up. He’d looked at the tattoo countless times, always frustrated that he didn’t remember getting it. He knew why he’d gotten it, to commemorate the loss of his love Milah, but he didn’t remember the actual event.
That was why he didn’t remember, and couldn’t fathom, why the exact same dagger from August’s drawing was there on his arm, piercing a heart.

Weld neck flange is a type of pipe flange that incorporates a cast-in neck that is welded to the pipe. Unlike a plain flange that is slipped over the pipe prior to being welded into place, a weld neck flange has a spout-like neck that is beveled to match up to the pipe. Weigh and measure your mirror to determine Once you’ve picked the perfect spot to hang your mirror, it’s time to straighten it up and mark where the hardware will go. Install your hardware and hang the mirror in place, then admire the finished product!

EditChoosing a Location
Stand on a bathroom scale with and without the mirror to calculate its weight. The difference between the 2 numbers is the weight of the mirror. A heavy mirror will weight between , while a lighter mirror will fall between . While both weight categories hang the same way, you’ll need to put more thought and care into anchoring a heavy mirror into the wall.[1]
If your mirror weighs over , have someone help you with the placing and hanging process.[2]
Heavy mirrors need some kind of anchor, such as a stud in the wall, so that will affect where you can place it.
Make sure to choose hardware with a high enough weight capacity to hold your mirror!
Choose a room to hang the mirror in. Think about which rooms feel smaller, dark, or more cramped, and could use some brightening up, such as bathrooms or bedrooms. You could also use the mirror as a statement piece in main areas of the house, such as the living room mantel or the dining room.[3]
Hang a mirror above your mantel for a central statement piece.
Display a dramatic mirror in the dining room or entryway to reflect light and open up the space.
Add a new mirror to your bathroom to add visual interest.
Hang a full-length mirror on your door to conserve space.
Ask someone to help you hold and place the mirror to get the full picture. Have a friend or family member hold the mirror up to the wall while you step back and look. This will help you visualize the finished product and find the exact placement you want. Once you’ve decided on a spot, mark the outline with pencil or masking tape.
Make a paper outline of the mirror to easily visualize where to hang it. Use butcher paper or cardboard to trace and cut out the shape of the mirror. Hold the outline up to the wall and use it to visualize how the mirror would look. Adjust it until you find a spot that you like, then use pencil lines or masking tape to mark the placement.[4]
Find a stud in the wall to hang a heavy mirror. If your mirror is over , your best bet is to drill into a stud to support the weight. These wooden beams in the walls act as inner supports and will help hold the mirror more solidly than plaster or drywall. To find a stud, use a stud finder tool, knock and listen, or look for indicators like outlets and molding nails.
Use a straight-edged board to check the wall for flatness. If the wall is bumpy, it can make a heavy mirror wobble or even break from uneven pressure. Use a long, flat board, such as a yardstick or a straight piece of 1x3 lumber. Slide the board over the wall and note any rocking, which indicates a bump.[5]
If the wall has too many bumps, mark them in pencil and sand them down gently with medium or coarse sandpaper. To save time, you could also just choose a new place to hang the mirror.
EditMeasuring and Marking the Space
Draw a line on the wall where the bottom of the mirror will go. Once you’ve picked the perfect spot for the mirror, have someone help hold the mirror while you mark its position. Line up a level below the mirror’s bottom edge and make sure it’s straight. Set the mirror down, but keep the level in place as a straightedge. With a pencil, draw a light line along the top of the level indicating the position of mirror’s bottom edge once it’s hung. Make the line as long as the bottom of the mirror.[6]
Before you draw, tilt the level until the bubbles in the liquid line up perfectly, indicating that the line is perfectly straight.
Keep your level and pencil close by for hanging an unbacked mirror. At this point, you can start installing the hardware for your unbacked mirror. However, you’ll need to keep your measuring and marking supplies handy during the process, so don’t put them away yet!
Measure and mark the distance for a backed mirror. Use a tape measure to find the distance between the bottom edge of the mirror and the top edge of a hanging point/hole. With the measuring tape, measure the same distance up from the line you drew on the wall. Draw second line at that height, making sure it’s the same length and parallel to the first.[7]
Use a strip of masking tape on a backed mirror with 2 hanging points. Larger mirrors often have 2 hanging points on the back, which can make it difficult to accurately measure and space out the hardware. An easy way to measure is to take a piece of masking tape and lay it horizontally across the 2 hooks on the back of the mirror. Use a pen to mark where the 2 hooks are under the tape, then peel off the tape and place it on your wall, along the second line.[8]
Once the tape is placed on the wall, you can start installing the hardware. You can keep the tape on the wall while you install, then peel it off once you’re done!
If the mirror only has 1 hanging point, measure from the side of the mirror to the center of the hanging point. Measure the same distance on the wall, along the second line. With a pencil, mark where the hanging point will go.
EditHanging an Unbacked Mirror
Use brackets to hang heavy unbacked mirrors. You’ll need 2 J brackets for the bottom, with a cradle wide enough for the thickness of your mirror, and 2 sliding J brackets for the top.[9]
Install a row of 3-4 J-hooks along the bottom line drawn on the wall. Use as many hooks as you need to support the mirror’s weight. Evenly space them out and install them with sturdy hollow-wall fasteners for wallboard or plaster, wood screws for wall framing, or masonry anchors if you’re fastening the hooks to brick or concrete.[10]
You may also want to pad the J-hooks with pieces of felt to protect the back of the mirror.
You can also use a single J-shaped metal strip called a J-strip. You should pad this piece as well.
Mark where the sides of mirror will sit on the wall. Use a level and a pencil to draw 2 lines on the wall, indicating the length of the mirror’s sides. They should extend upward, both at a right angle to the bottom horizontal line.[11]
Install 2-3 L- or Z-clips along the drawn vertical lines on the wall. Following the same intervals as the bottom J-hooks, loosely attach additional fasteners that will keep the mirror in place. Choose L- or Z-clips based on the mirror’s design, then screw them into the wall. Keep the screw loose so the front side that will rest against the mirror is loose as well.[12]
Since these clips won’t support the mirror’s weight, you only need light-duty fiber or plastic anchors called wall plugs to install them.
Pad the L- and Z-clips with adhesive-backed felt where they’ll touch the glass.
Slide the mirror into place and tighten the clips to keep it secure. Move the side fasteners out of the way before setting the mirror’s bottom edge into the J-hooks. Lift the mirror by the sides and tilt it backward against the wall, then tighten the L- or Z-clips just enough to hold the mirror firmly.[13]

Use monkey hooks to hang a heavy mirror if you don’t have any tools. These thin, minimal-damage hooks make it easy to hang a mirror that weighs up to on drywall. They don’t even require any tools to install besides a tape measure and a pencil! Just push and twist the hook to insert it into the wall.[14]
The best part is that monkey hooks only leave a tiny, nail-sized hole behind, instead of a big anchor hole.[15]
If your mirror weighs more than , try upgrading to gorilla hooks. They have the exact same design and installation style, and they can handle up to .
These tap-in hooks are perfect for hanging on drywall.
Use plastic wall anchors for a variety of sizes and weight capacities. Although these create a larger hole in the wall than the monkey hooks, they still do less damage than anchor holes and they’re much easier to install. Choose your size and weight capacity based on how large and heavy your mirror is. To install, simply screw the hooks into the wall![16]
Use a toggle bolt if you don’t have a wall stud to drill into. Anchoring with a wall stud is the best method, but if you can’t locate a wall stud or it’s not available, toggle bolts are your next best bet.[17] Drill a hole in the wall large enough for the toggle bolt, then thread a machine screw through the toggle bolt nut. Pinch the wings on the toggle bolt flat, then push it into the hole you drilled in the wall. Tighten the bolt with a screwdriver until it hits the back of the wall.[18]
To finish, hang the mirror’s hooks on the toggle bolt and use a level to make sure everything’s straight.
Toggle bolts work best for hanging heavy mirrors on plaster walls.
To save time, use a toggle bolt already fitted with a picture-hanging hook.

Choosing the Proper Front Sight Post
This month I want to cover Front Sight Posts. Here at Windham Weaponry we use standard front sight bases on all rifles – with a full front sight base rather than the taller “F” marked (.040″ taller) front sight bases. Most of our rifles that come with a carry handle and full front sight base use a commercial carry handle and a standard A2 height front sight post. The commercial carry handle is .040″ shorter than a mil-spec carry handle in order to index properly with a standard front sight base.
Now if you want to remove the carry handle and use a rear flip sight, it is usually necessary to switch out the A2 front sight post for a .040″ taller front sight post because most rear flip sights on the market are at mil-spec height. It’s not always necessary as the specs of rear flip sights can vary slightly from manufacturer to manufacturer. But if you install a rear flip sight and find you have to wind the front sight post out too far to get the rifle to zero, then you should install the .040″ taller post.
Now with our Dissipator rifles – which have a rifle length sight radius but a 16″ carbine length barrel – we install .040″ taller front sight posts on these with the commercial spec carry handle. The long sight radius with the carbine length barrel makes this combination necessary to zero the rifle to the proper elevation. What this means for Dissipator owners is that if you install a rear flip sight (or a mil-spec carry handle) it will most likely be necessary to install a .060″ taller front sight post to get the rifle zeroed correctly and not have the front sight post screwed out too far.
We have all three front sight posts available to help get your rifle on target and we also have a very handy sight tool. This tool makes changing out front sight posts a breeze and is very handy for zeroing the rifle.

This Month’s Question is: I’d like to change the flash hider or muzzle brake on my rifle. What is the thread pitch on my Windham Weaponry rifle?
Answer:
Our rifles with the barrel stamped WW 5.56 1/9 or WW 5.56 1/7 have a 1/2″ x 28 T.P.I. thread pitch. Our rifles with the barrel stamped WW 450 Bushmaster 1/24 have a 11/16″ x 24 T.P.I. thread pitch. Our rifles with the barrel stamped WW 308 1/10, WW 762 x 39 1/9.5, WW 300 BLACKOUT 1/7 and 6.5 Creedmoor1/8 have a 5/8″ x 24 T.P.I. thread pitch. Our rifles with the barrel stamped WW 9mm 1/10 have a 1/2 ” x 36 T.P.I. thread pitch.
Please Note: Our NJ compliant models have a pinned and welded muzzle brake which is permanently installed. We do not recommend attempting to remove muzzle brakes on those models as it may damage the barrel.

Good Afternoon,
I shoot competitively with the All Guard Rifle and Pistol Team (National Guard).
I purchased a Gov’t. Model and a Vex Upper a couple years ago and use the Gov’t. model as a training rifle for the combat related matches that I compete in.
I have functioned as the Nebraska State Marksmanship Coordinator for several years and our Team Coach, as well as a shooter. I surely won’t claim to be an expert, but will claim to be a better than average rifle shooter.
Hate to admit, just getting the Vex upper cleaned up and scoped to shoot it. I should not have put it off for as long as I did……it is quite a shooter.
I do quite a bit of coyote calling……this will get used to bust them!!

“I have been shooting the Gov’t. Model quite a bit, and it will hold MOA to about 1.25 MOA shooting regular green tip ammo. It works pretty well! The group in the photo was shot after about a 30 round “break-in” on the VEX Upper. This 5 shot group was shot at 100 yards with a Weaver 4-16x Classic Scope set on 12x. Ammo – straight M855 green tip (LC). I have shot additional groups of similar size rather consistently. It shoots handloaded 65 gr. Sierre SBTs into little clusters like this also. Pretty decent! Nice job on putting this upper together! Guess I will have to keep it.

FALL SHOOTING LEAGUE
Every Thursday now through December, we are having our Fall Shooting League. Each week will bring a different course of fire. The courses are designed to help you increase your skills and get you to think on your feet. They are open to all skill levels, from beginner to advanced shooters. Bring your own gear or rent ours. We have three categories: Pistol, Carbine, and Carbine/Pistol transition. Gear used includes Pistol and/or Carbine, Holster, Magazine Pouch(s), Sling for Carbine, 3 Magazines for Pistol and/or Carbine, 3 Speedloaders for 6 shot Revolvers, hand held flashlight and/or weapon mounted flashlight. Ear and Eye protection is available if you don’t have your own.
Times run from 11 am to 1 pm and 3:30 pm to 7 pm. Round count for each week will be 24 rounds unless otherwise specified. You will generally have enough time to go through twice, but remember the first time is for score.
These will be fun and as challenging as you want them to be. Participants will be able to go through at their own pace and scores will be posted so you can see how you improve over this 14 week cycle.
As always, our instructors will be there to give advice and coach you on improving your shooting as well as suggestions for employing good tactics.
The cost is $14 for one gun and $20 for two. Feel free to come watch to see if this is something you would enjoy participating in.
