my teens may have been objectively bad from the standpoint of isn't everyone's but at least i made allstate choir every single year i auditioned 👍
#sasha speaks#including best tenor in the state one year haha#i'm listening to some of my old tracks tonight. obv a 150 person choir is not going to sound like a chamber choir#which is what i prefer to sing in now#but it's really good. i miss this!#lol it's so funny to think that for a few solid years i was as much as if not moreso a choir kid than a band or orchestra kid#i only made allstate band and orchestra once each...#then again the competition was always much stiffer and i didn't get decent at oboe until later#whereas basically if you could sightsing you were in allstate LOL#i wanna talk about me#i did 5/6 years. 7th 8th 9th 11th and 12th#i skipped 10th grade cause i was doing a play and the performances were the same weekend so i couldn't skip one for the other. oh well!#5 years is still enough to earn you Seniority Status by 12th grade lol (aka you get to sing the nat'l anthem at the concert)
