India vs Sri Lanka, 3rd ODI: Shikhar Dhawan Seek Fringe Benefits
India vs Sri Lanka: The ODI series is already within the bag, but Dravid might not want to ring in wholesale changes on Friday, because the home team has shown improvement with each passing fixture.
Ahead of his first assignment as India coach, Rahul Dravid had made it clear that he cannot make an equivalent promise to the 20 players on the road in Sri Lanka that he usually does when he oversees the countryâs developmental teams â a promise of each player playing a minimum of one game before returning home. With half Indiaâs white-ball regulars currently in England, the squad strength for the Sri Lanka ODI series has been pruned to fifteen, with the main target solely on winning.
The ODI series is already within the bag, but Dravid might not want to ring in wholesale changes on Friday, because the home team has shown improvement with each passing fixture. Devdutt Padikkal and Ruturaj Gaikwad, two of Indiaâs six uncapped players from the long list, are possibly the brightest talents to possess seamlessly graduated from the domestic circuit to the IPL. Now they eagerly await the ultimate promotion to don Indiaâs blue.
From among those that did get a chance to prove their worth within the two matches gone, Prithvi Shaw and Ishan Kishan are going to be keen to solidify their respective game plans. Sri Lanka has twice dismissed Shaw using spin â which the youngster is understood to otherwise dominate. On the evidence of his past showings, Shaw is equally adept against pace too. But a lesson worth learning for Shaw could rather be to regulate the force with which he drives the slower bowlers. In Kishanâs case, being on the offensive often gives him a foothold. But if Dravid sees a benefit within the southpaw tempering his attacking instincts, he could well point that out before the ultimate ODI.
For others like Manish Pandey and Kuldeep Yadav, this might be their last chance during a long while to go away an enduring mark, as long as there are many others before them within the lengthy queue to form the team for the T20 series. A stroke of bad luck curtails a promising Pandey innings within the last ODI. He is going to be keen on another chance.
Both Kuldeep and Yuzvendra Chahal have benefitted from bowling together again, impressing in one match each. They havenât seemed like the wicket-takers they were for a period between 2017 and 2019, but the pair clearly cherish bowling within the 50-over format quite others. Chahal, who picked up 3/50 within the second ODI, has also adapted to T20 alright, but Kuldeep continues to battle a mid-career crisis. A full series of bowling complete spells will give him the requisite confidence, but Rahul Chahar is knocking on the door also.
Meanwhile, Deepak Chahar was the unlikely batting hero on Wednesday and has been ready to showcase his entire range of white-ball skills. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, however, has lacked that spring in his step since his return, and he will know the importance of the approaching matches to make sure he's on a flight to the T20 World Cup within the UAE.
In the room after the series was won, coach Dravid asked his players to not rest on their laurels till the series was over because SL is known to reply. âThey did (in the second game) and that we responded back sort of a champion team,â he told his players.
Wanindu Hasaranga threatened to win the last match on his own together with his leg-spin, while pacer Dushmantha Chameera has had his moments. On the opposite side of the card, Charith Asalanka and Chamika Karunaratne have both got runs. This opposition might not be as great as a number of the Sri Lankan outfits of yore, but Dasun Shanakaâs side has refused to roll over. The young men during this Indian team will have best to closely adhere to Dravidâs advice.

Divine 11 - South Africa vs West Indies match predictions and pitch report
South Africa have had a disastrous start to the ICC Menâs Cricket World Cup 2019 with three losses on the trot and they would want to change their fate when they meet West Indies on Monday at The Rose Bowl at Southampton

Preview: South Africa have suffered a nightmare start to their World Cup 2019 campaign with three losses on the trot and plenty of injury concerns as well. Dale Steyn has been ruled out of the tournament while Lungi Ngidi is nursing an injury and will miss tomorrowâs game. They have also been in the news after AB de Villiersâ decision to play for the team before the World Cup was turned down. Their on-field struggles along with the off-field activities have led to a lot of negativity within the camp. They will, however, look to put that behind them when they take on West Indies on Monday.
West Indiesâ fast bowlers have been in excellent form in this edition so far. They restricted Pakistan to 105 in their first game and skittled out Australia for just 288 in the second. However, while they won the first, they were unable to win the second game.
Pitch Conditions :
Venue: The Rose Bowl - Southampton, England
The wicket here offers something for the seamers upfront with good bounce on offer as well. Both teams have intimidating fast bowlers who will look to make use of the conditions up front. However, as the match progresses, the batters will have a huge say in the game.

Weather Conditions: There is a huge chance of rain on match day, with weather predictions stating that there is a 90% chance of rain. With a minimum temperature of 9 and a maximum of 14, the day will be chilly with strong winds blowing across. Hence, the D/L Method is likely to come into play. The team that chases always has an advantage according to the D/L Method, and the team that wins the toss, should bat second.
Venue Scoring Pattern :
Average 1st innings score: 260 Average 2nd innings score : 214 Highest Total: 373/3 (50 Ov) by ENG vs PAK Lowest Total: 65/10 (24 Ov) by USA vs AUS
Highest Chased: 306/7 (49 Ov) by NZ vs ENG
Lowest Defended: 251/7 (50 Ov) by ENG vs SL
Team Analysis :
South Africa: Beuran Hendricks has flown in as the replacement of Dale Steyn is likely to play in the game against West Indies. With Steyn ruled out and Lungi Ngidi nursing an injury, Hendricks will be a part of the pace attack and could replace Tabraiz Shamsi. Hashim Amla played the last game after missing the second one due to a head injury - and if Markram and Shamsi both miss out, the responsibility on JP Duminy with the ball will increase.
Full Squad: Hashim Amla, Quinton de Kock, Faf du Plessis, Rassie van der Dussen, David Miller, Jean-Paul Duminy, Andile Phehlukwayo, Chris Morris, Kagiso Rabada, Imran Tahir, Tabraiz Shamsi, Beuran Hendricks, Dwaine Pretorius, Aiden Markram

West Indies: Evin Lewis replaced Darren Bravo in the game against Australia, opening the batting with Chris Gayle. Shai Hope was dropped to number three. West Indies will have to manage the fitness of Chris Gayle and Andre Russell, but there is likely to be no change for this game.
Full Squad: Shai Hope (wk), Jason Holder (c), Chris Gayle, Evin Lewis, Nicholas Pooran, Shimron Hetmyer, Andre Russell, Carlos Brathwaite, Ashley Nurse, Sheldon Cottrell, Oshane Thomas, Darren Bravo, Shannon Gabriel, Kemar Roach, Fabian Allen
Player to vouch for:
South Africa: Quinton de Kock
West Indies: Chris Gayle
Standings in ICC ODI Points Table :
South Africa: 3rd with 115 points
West Indies: 8th with 77 points
Head to Head in World Cup :
Total matches played: 6
Total South Africa won: 4
Total West Indies won: 2

South Africa has a good record against West Indies with 44 wins from 61 matches with one tie and one no result. The Windies, on the other hand, have won just 15. However, they did win the last time the two played each other in the format back in 2016. West Indies won two of the three games against South Africa with Darren Bravo hitting a hundred.
Till then, follow Divine 11 for more updates and information about the upcoming fixtures and latest happenings in the Sports World.

New Zealand vs India live stream: how to watch 2nd T20 cricket match 2020 from anywhere
Home
News
(Image credit: DAVID ROWLAND/AFP via Getty Images)
Indiaâs cricket fixture list just never seems to let up â and neither do their victories! Theyâre back on the road and battling out a five-match T20 series against New Zealand. To make sure you donât miss a single six or wicket, weâve put together this guide to getting a New Zealand vs India live stream from pretty much anywhere in the world.
New Zealand came into this five-match series looking to bounce back after a 3-0 test thrashing to great rivals Australia and a Super Over loss to England in their last T20I. But visitors India chased down a 203 target with relative ease in the first T20 of the series.
New Zealand vs India T20 series- where and when
The dates, times and venues for the five-match, day/night T20 series are as follows:
1st ODI India won by 6 wickets
2nd ODI Eden Park No. 1, Auckland, January 26
3rd ODI Â Seddon Park, Hamilton, January 29Â
4th ODI Â Westpac Stadium, Wellington, January 31Â
5th ODI Â Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui, February 2Â
The first two matches in Auckland start 7.50pm NZDT local time, with the remaining three matches starting slightly later 8pm NZDT. So thatâs around 12.30pm in the afternoon in Indiaâs IST time zone.
Despite having to contend with a lengthy injury list, the Blackcaps still boast a strong squad, but will their second string be enough to knock a rampart India off their stride? Key players Trent Boult and Lockie Ferguson, along with Tom Latham and Matt Henry are all missing for the hosts, but thereâs a recall for paceman Hamish Bennett. Another plus for the Blackcaps will be the return of Kane Williamson who will lead the side after missing out on the series against England.Â
While not as severe as their opponents, India have their own injury problems, with Ishant Sharma set to miss the series after turning his ankle. Mohammed Shami comes into the bolster the bowling attack, but otherwise its a largely unchanged Indian side from the one that saw them ease past Sri Lanka in their last T20 outing at the start of the year.
Follow the instructions below to find out how to grab a New Zealand vs India live stream from pretty much anywhere on Earth.

Indiaâs cricket fixture list just never seems to let up, and now itâs time for them to head to New Zealand for a five-match T20 series. To make sure you donât miss a single six or wicket, weâve put together this guide to getting a New Zealand vs India live stream from pretty much anywhere in the world.
New Zealand come into this five-match series looking to bounce back after a 3-0 test thrashing to great rivals Australia and a Super Over loss to England in their last T20I. Visitors India remain on an impressive roll, overcoming a Steve Smith masterclass last weekend to seal an impressive 2-1 ODI series win against Australia.
New Zealand vs India T20 series- where and when
The dates, times and venues for the five-match, day/night T20 series are as follows:
1st ODI Eden Park No. 1, Auckland, January 24
