Why Businesses Struggle Without Online Product Design Tools
In the age of personalization, businesses that don't offer customization options often face major setbacks. Generic product catalogs no longer excite modern customers, who expect to design and personalize items to match their style. Without the right tools, businesses deal with increased customer dissatisfaction, back-and-forth communication, and limited brand loyalty. This can lead to abandoned carts, negative reviews, and poor retention rates.
Additionally, manual customization processes are time-consuming and error-prone. Whether you're selling apparel, accessories, or promotional items, creating proofs manually or relying on email feedback slows down production. This outdated workflow affects customer experience, increases returns, and creates bottlenecks. Thankfully, PrintXpand offers a suite of design tools to solve these pain points and unlock new growth opportunities.
Shoe Design Software: Let Your Customers Walk Their Style
PrintXpand’s shoe design software is ideal for businesses selling custom sneakers, sports shoes, or casual footwear. Without this tool, customers rely on static images and limited variations, leaving them frustrated and less likely to purchase. They can’t visualize how the final shoe will look or personalize it with text, colors, or artwork—making the shopping experience dull and impersonal.
By offering this interactive design solution, you allow users to view shoes in 360 degrees, try different color combos, upload logos, and add unique patterns. It adds value to your brand while giving customers creative freedom. For retailers and D2C brands, this means better conversion rates and fewer returns, as customers get exactly what they designed with real-time previews.
Uniform Design Software: Streamlining Team and Corporate Wear
Without PrintXpand’s uniform design software, companies that sell uniforms struggle with customization requests for logos, names, and design layouts. Sports teams, schools, and corporate clients often require personalized uniforms, and managing such orders manually leads to design errors, communication delays, and frustrated clients.
This tool makes personalization easy by offering a self-service design interface. Clients can pick uniform styles, add text, and place logos exactly where they want them. You save time, reduce mistakes, and build trust. Whether you're serving corporate orders or team kits, this software simplifies uniform design while enhancing user satisfaction.
3D T-Shirt Configurator: Sell More with Real-Time Visualization
Businesses selling custom T-shirts often struggle to meet customer expectations due to the lack of visual previews. Customers can’t see how their design looks on the actual product, which leads to confusion, mismatched results, and high return rates. Without a dynamic tool, sellers are left explaining design outcomes instead of providing an engaging shopping experience.
The 3D T-shirt configurator allows users to design in real-time and see their shirt from every angle. The tool offers a 3D interface where customers can rotate the product, add custom text, images, and artwork. This boosts buyer confidence and encourages creativity. It’s ideal for print-on-demand stores, clothing brands, and promotional merchandise businesses.
Bag Design Software: Create Unique Bags for Every Style
Selling bags without customization limits your appeal in a crowded market. Customers want to personalize their backpacks, tote bags, and travel gear with names, graphics, or branding elements. Without a user-friendly design tool, sellers have to manually collect design specs via email or chats, increasing delays and confusion.
The bag design software from PrintXpand changes that. It enables buyers to personalize different bag types through a drag-and-drop editor. Whether it’s a corporate giveaway or a fashion accessory, this tool lets customers fully design their bags online, resulting in a smooth purchase experience. This single tool enhances efficiency while delivering a smooth experience across product categories.
Mug Design Tool: Perfect for Gifts and Corporate Gifting
Selling plain mugs in today's market puts you at a disadvantage. Personalized mugs are highly popular as gifts, promotional items, and souvenirs. Without a design tool, customers can’t see how their photo or quote will appear on the final product, resulting in dissatisfaction and low engagement.
With PrintXpand’s mug design tool, users can upload photos, add text, and adjust designs to fit curved surfaces like mugs. The live preview shows exactly how the final item will look. It’s especially useful for print shops and online gift stores looking to offer fast and error-free personalization options.
Gift Design Tool: Personalize Keepsakes with Ease
Gifting businesses that don’t offer personalization miss out on a huge segment of customers looking for unique, thoughtful presents. Without an easy way to customize photo frames, puzzles, or keychains, buyers may leave your site in search of more interactive options.
The gift design tool makes it easy for customers to personalize a wide range of gift items. Whether they want to add a photo to a puzzle or engrave a message on a keepsake, the platform supports all this in an intuitive editor. It boosts emotional value and drives more sales, especially during peak seasons like holidays and birthdays.
Skin Design Software: Make Tech Accessories Stand Out
Without customization, tech accessories like phone and laptop skins remain generic and less desirable. Sellers offering only preset designs often face high competition and low differentiation. Today’s customers want to add their own flair to their gadgets—whether it's their name, a favorite quote, or a unique pattern.
PrintXpand’s skin design software solves this by enabling users to personalize skins for smartphones, tablets, laptops, and gaming consoles. The software includes accurate templates and previews to help users create their perfect gadget skin. It's a perfect fit for tech accessory businesses, artists, and influencers who want to launch custom skin collections.

At the 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans, Porsche unveiled a unique one-off vehicle: the Porsche 963 RSP. Developed as a tribute to the legendary 917 and inspired by Count Rossi’s 1975 street-driven prototype, the 963 RSP is based on Porsche’s LMDh competition car but reimagined for public roads under special conditions.
The project was a collaboration between Porsche AG, Porsche Penske Motorsport, and Porsche Cars North America, with direct involvement from Roger Penske—whose initials form the RSP name. The concept was initiated as a design study and passion project, eventually culminating in a street-legal prototype unveiled near Circuit de la Sarthe.
The 963 RSP retains the race-spec 4.6-liter twin-turbocharged V8 hybrid powertrain, delivering up to 680 horsepower. Originally developed for the RS Spyder and later refined in the 918 Spyder, the engine architecture includes a flat crankshaft, short stroke, and Van der Lee turbochargers for optimized throttle response. The hybrid system uses a Bosch motor generator unit and a Williams Advanced Engineering battery, working with a 7-speed Xtrac sequential gearbox. For road use, the power delivery was remapped to be smoother, and the system was configured to run on pump fuel.
To comply with road operation under French regulation, the chassis was adjusted with raised ride height, softened Multimatic dampers, and revised software to enable functioning headlights, taillights, and turn signals. Michelin rain-spec tires were mounted on 18-inch forged OZ wheels. Unique modifications such as covered wheel arches, a working horn, and license plate mounts were added.
Visually, the 963 RSP is finished in Martini Silver paint—not a wrap—requiring a triple-layer lacquer on ultra-thin Kevlar® and carbon fiber surfaces. An enamel Porsche crest replaces the standard nose graphic, and 1970s Michelin branding adds a period-correct touch. The rear features a 3D-printed “963 RSP” badge.
The interior departs sharply from the competition car. Trimmed in tan leather and Alcantara, it includes a cushioned, leather-wrapped carbon seat, air conditioning, a leather-finished steering wheel, and even a detachable 3D-printed cup holder. Storage space is provided for a laptop, headset, and Roger Penske’s custom carbon helmet. Ventilation outlets mimic the 917’s engine fan design, reinforcing historical continuity.
While the 963 RSP is not homologated for mass production, it is fully operational and authorized for limited road use under manufacturer permissions. Following its debut, the vehicle will appear at the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart and the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
This project showcases Porsche’s ability to blend heritage, engineering, and bespoke craftsmanship—all within the limits of a modern endurance prototype.

hello!! i hope ur having a nice day!!
i'm willow and i just started playing harvest moon! you seem to be really well-informed about harvest moon, so i hope it'd be okay if i asked you for some advice? :O if not, feel free to ignore this! (also, i emulate my games, so if you're uncomfortable with emulation i completely understand ^^)
i'd like to ask what ur favourite nds harvest moon is! yesterday i started playing tale of two towns and i've been seriously enjoying it haha. i'm now a little bit bored though (i've been playing it for the entire day now 😵💫) so i thought maybe i should try the other games, but there are just so many i'm not sure which i should try! the sad thing is that i'm only able to emulate nds games (3ds ones are definitely out sadly, and i tried to emulate the wii and gamecube ones but they didn't work unfortunatelyy) so i won't be able to enjoy trio of towns and more 😔
i really like the social aspect of the game (even though i haven't been able to get married to any of the bachelors ahaha) but i like the farming aspect too! do you have any game in mind? (or just your favourite one!) thank you so much! im so sorry if it's rude of me to suddenly ask you this. i hope you have a great week ahead!! 😊
(folds my hands together and leans in) you have come to the right place.
I actually was having a replay of ToTT before Mistria came out! It wasn’t one I was fond of, so getting a new perspective on it and finding things to like was nice, even if I do agree it’s on the boring side. (Side note Gombe is the best character in the entire series and I wish he moved in with you too if you marry Nori/Nana.)
As for my favorite DS game, well, (gestures to my username). Grand Bazaar is one of my favorites. It’s actually the first game Dirk was from and his older brother is my favorite bachelor in the series!! (I also think Dirk’s ToTT version is a LOT better if you’ve played GB; it’s very nice to see his character development between the games if you see any of his GB heart events.)
A lot of the mechanics are more on the simple side (Iirc it was meant to be a beginner’s game), and since you’ve played ToTT you’re familiar with the hell that is the freshness system. (GB and ToTT are the only games with it; in every other game things never go bad. One of those experimental things that didn’t stick, which the DS games had a LOT of.) GB also has a mechanic where if you step on your crops too much their quality will go down, but as long as you switch from running to walking while watering them for the day, you should be good!!
The biggest mechanic change, and the one the game is based around, is in the name itself; the bazaar! You don’t have shipping bins in this game, and instead you sell everything at a weekly bazaar on Saturday! You run a stand with all your items set up, and ring a bell to attract customers. Generally if you’re focused and stay for a while, you’ll sell all your stuff. (The game’s goal is to earn enough at bazaars that you’ll be able to have it keep growing and become more famous, which also helps a LOT in the selling regard as you’ll get more customers the higher your rank is.) I tend to save all my stuff for the end of the season and sell all of my crops at once.
This is also where you’ll be able to buy everything; while Raul runs the general store in town, Enrique sells animals at the bazaar, for example. As it grows you’ll even have stands with characters from Island of Happiness and Sunshine Islands setting up shop!!
It’s also MUCH easier to unlock makers than every other game in the series with them, including the games before it. The other gimmick is town has 3 Windmills, all of which are unlocked automatically in your first year. I’m not quiiiiiite sure how they work on emu because they involve blowing to speed up production time, but doing a quick search for people playing Professor Layton and Ace Attorney on Reddit says it’s doable to configure, it just depends on what emu you’re using.
I’m not toooo familiar with animals because I never keep any (seeing this in the first game in the series I ever played when I was 11 traumatized the FUCK out of me and now it stresses me out to have them in any of the games that aren’t AWL LMAO.) But looking it up it seems to be standard fare, with the barn actually attached to your house to make it easier to reach them. You can’t sell your animals unlike other games, but besides that they’re functionally the same but with much easier access in the morning.
I also ADORE the cast so, SO much. Like I said, my favorite bachelor in the series is in this game. The entire cast is very colorful and charming. Both the art style and designs are, overwhelmingly, the biggest influence on my (chibi) art and overall character designs- which says a LOT about the series that made me start drawing as a child in the first place. It’s absolutely gorgeous. I don’t have a number one favorite mayor in the series, but a tie between 3. You better believe Felix is one of them. He’s SO good. Especially when ToTT Rutger if you chose Bluebell is very generic as far as bokumono mayors go. (Luv Ina/Irusa though)
Also it introduced tea leaves to the series which was the most goated thing to ever happen. Tea leaves are the best crop. I love tea leaves.
TLDR Please play Grand Bazaar I love Grand Bazaar.
(I also hope you can get other emus to work! All 3 of the 3DS games are the best in the series, Imo, and the Wii games are classics. If you have Steam you can also get Friends of Mineral Town (the best starter game imo), and A Wonderful Life (it’s a black sheep in the series but a VERY VERY beloved black sheep and the original GameCube version was a LOT of people’s first game.) I’m olivetownhater199x though)
I hope you have a nice week as well!! :) I have job interviews tomorrow and Tuesday so fingers crossed 🤞🏻
EDIT OH MY GOD I CANT BELIEVE I FORGOT TO SAY THIS. If you have trouble starting out Fogu’s Guides for the series are a godsend!! I still use them every time I play. (Even if she does also cover the bargain bin harvest moon games. Every game titled Harvest Moon from The Lost Valley onwards isn’t actually a part of the Bokujou Monogatari series, but rather games by the original localizers profiting off brand name when Marvelous switched to in house for translation.)

Cosplay Guide Update
So I know what you're all probably thinking.
Where's the update? How long till the next release? You said you'd be working on it.
Well about that.
It turns out that I'm an absolute fucking moron.
Peaking behind the production curtain here, but I generate my images for the guide using extracted/ripped assets from the MW titles, importing them into blender, converting and assigning textures to the relevant objects, and then generating still image renders in Blender at relatively high resolutions.
It was that last component that was a major time sink, as with my older rig it was taking anywhere between 30-60 mins to generate a single image. And then while I was doing that, I wasn't able to do anything else on my system as my performance would tank.
I just thought it was because I was using an old GPU, so I only recently (read: within the past month) upgraded from a 1050 to a 3060 TI.
I did a test render with the new card, same result. Ages to render.
Wtaf did I get a new card for then, aside from being able to play games released in the past couple of years...
So I finally caved and did a bit of research... and well...
... guess who forgot to configure Blender to use GPU rendering instead of CPU rendering....
Yeaaaaaaahhhh, not my proudest moment. I did another test render with a completely different set of assets, as I was kinda knee deep in another 3d modelling passion project:
Imagining what our MW boys would look like as Spartan IV's... That's Soap btw.
That took five minutes.
SO ANYWAY
Now that I'm not giving my computer a simultaneous heart attack and stroke trying to render a picture of a plate carrier, I can now expedite production on the MW3 kit breakdowns. Honestly, the product of the renders was becoming a chore with how long it was initially taking and the performance hit preventing me from doing something else while I waited (like reseaching pieces of kit, adding text to a breakdown page, formatting, etc etc)
Now that I've worked that kink out? I should be able to condense my production pipeline and timeframe considerably.
Can I give you an ETA for 1.2? Fuck no.
How long is a piece of string? Honestly, with how my life is atm and how fast my fixations are shifting, I can't guarantee being able to do this for long spurts of time like I initially managed.
I will say that I will expand the scope slightly to feature notable NPCs such as Shadow Company operators from that one mission in MWII, and also going back to MW2019 and adding breakdowns of character loadouts seen there, to provide an all encompassing campaign character guide.
Once all that's done, I'll be hanging up my guide hat for the time being until another major FPS drops that has everyone running to cosplay... could be a Battlefield, could be another MW, might be another IP entirely. Who knows, we'll have to wait and see!
Thanks for sticking around for the ramble... felt good to get something out.
Until next time!
Jesse

Perovskite Solar Cells: A New Dawn in Solar Technology
As the world increasingly shifts towards renewable energy, solar power continues to be a key player in the energy landscape. Traditional solar technologies have paved the way for widespread adoption, but new innovations are pushing the boundaries of what is possible. Among these, perovskite solar cells have emerged as a revolutionary technology with the potential to transform the solar industry due to their high efficiency, low production costs, and versatility.
What are Solar Cells?
Solar cells, also known as photovoltaic (PV) cells, are devices that convert sunlight directly into electricity. These cells are the fundamental building blocks of solar panels, which are widely used in residential, commercial, and industrial applications. The main types of solar cells include:
1. Monocrystalline Silicon Solar Cells: These cells are made from a single crystal structure, offering the highest efficiency rates (up to 24%) and a long lifespan. However, they are also the most expensive to produce due to the complexities involved in creating a single crystal.
2. Polycrystalline Silicon Solar Cells: These are composed of multiple silicon crystals and are generally less efficient (around 15-20%) than monocrystalline cells. They are cheaper to manufacture, making them a popular choice for large-scale solar farms.
3. Thin-Film Solar Cells: This type of solar cell is made by depositing one or more layers of photovoltaic material onto a substrate. They are lightweight, flexible, and easier to produce in large quantities. However, their efficiency is lower, typically around 10-12%.
What are Perovskite Solar Cells?
Perovskite solar cells (PSCs) are an emerging class of thin-film solar cells that use a perovskite-structured compound as the light-absorbing layer. The most commonly used perovskite materials are hybrid organic-inorganic lead or tin halide-based compounds. The unique properties of perovskites, such as their ability to absorb light efficiently and their flexibility in composition, make them a promising alternative to traditional silicon-based solar cells.
Types of Perovskite Solar Cells
Perovskite solar cells can be categorized based on their composition and structural configuration:
1. 3D Lead Halide Perovskites: These are the most studied and developed type of perovskite solar cells. They offer high efficiency but suffer from stability issues due to their sensitivity to environmental factors like moisture and heat.
2. 2D Perovskites: These are layered structures where the perovskite material is interleaved with organic molecules. While they offer improved stability compared to 3D perovskites, their efficiency is generally lower.
3. Lead-Free Perovskites: Due to concerns about the environmental and health impacts of lead, researchers are actively exploring lead-free alternatives. While promising, these materials have yet to match the efficiency of lead-based perovskites.
How Perovskite Solar Cells Work
The operation of perovskite solar cells is based on the photovoltaic effect, similar to other types of solar cells. When sunlight hits the perovskite layer, it excites electrons, creating electron-hole pairs. These pairs are then separated by the built-in electric field within the cell, generating a flow of electric current. The ability of perovskites to absorb light across a broad spectrum, combined with their high charge-carrier mobility, allows for efficient conversion of sunlight into electricity.
Benefits of Perovskite Solar Cells
1. High Efficiency: Perovskite solar cells have achieved power conversion efficiencies exceeding 29% in laboratory settings, making them one of the most efficient solar technologies available today. This rapid improvement in efficiency has outpaced many other photovoltaic technologies.
2. Low Production Costs: The materials used in perovskite solar cells are abundant and inexpensive. Moreover, these cells can be manufactured using low-temperature processes, such as solution processing and printing techniques, which significantly reduce production costs compared to silicon-based cells.
3. Versatility: Perovskite materials can be fabricated into flexible, lightweight, and even semi-transparent solar cells. This versatility opens up new applications, such as building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV), portable solar chargers, and other innovative uses where traditional rigid solar panels are impractical.

Challenges Facing Perovskite Solar Cells
1. Stability: One of the major challenges of perovskite solar cells is their susceptibility to degradation when exposed to environmental factors like moisture, oxygen, and UV light. This results in a shorter lifespan compared to silicon-based cells, which can last over 25 years with minimal degradation.
2. Toxicity: The most efficient perovskite solar cells use lead-based materials, which pose significant environmental and health risks. While lead-free alternatives are being researched, they have yet to achieve the same levels of efficiency and stability.
3. Scalability: While perovskite solar cells have demonstrated high efficiency in laboratory settings, scaling up production to a commercial level while maintaining performance is a complex challenge. Issues such as uniformity of the perovskite layer and the development of large-scale, stable manufacturing processes need to be addressed.
Recent Developments

Recent research has focused on developing advanced encapsulation materials and techniques that significantly improve the stability and lifespan of these cells. For instance, incorporating hydrophobic materials and barrier layers has shown to protect the perovskite layer from moisture, thereby enhancing the longevity of the solar cells
- Incorporation of 2D Materials: Another approach to enhancing stability involves the use of 2D materials, such as graphene and transition metal dichalcogenides, which can serve as protective layers or charge transport layers. These materials not only protect the perovskite from environmental degradation but also improve the efficiency of charge transport, leading to higher overall performance
3. Development of Lead-Free Perovskites
- Bismuth and Tin-based Perovskites: To address environmental concerns associated with the use of lead in perovskite solar cells, researchers have been exploring alternative materials. Bismuth and tin-based perovskites are among the most promising candidates. Although these lead-free materials have yet to reach the efficiency levels of lead-based perovskites, ongoing
- Hybrid Organic-Inorganic Perovskites: Another promising direction is the development of hybrid organic-inorganic perovskites that combine the stability of organic materials with the high efficiency of inorganic perovskites. These hybrid materials are showing potential in creating more environmentally friendly and durable solar cells
4. Tandem Solar Cells
- Perovskite-Silicon Tandem Cells: Combining perovskite solar cells with traditional silicon cells has led to the development of tandem solar cells that achieve higher efficiencies than either technology alone. These tandem cells can reach efficiencies of over 30%, making them one of the most efficient solar technologies available. This approach leverages the high absorption efficiency of perovskites with the stability and established manufacturing processes of silicon cells
- All-Perovskite Tandem Cells: Researchers are also developing all-perovskite tandem cells, which stack two or more perovskite layers with different bandgaps. This configuration allows for more efficient use of the solar spectrum and has the potential to surpass the efficiency of single-junction perovskite solar cells

MY NEXT GAME
Hi, so I'm postponing my previous platformer because I'm tired of thinking about physics.
So I want to make a farming game.
I'm gonna let you in on a little secret, I dont like Stardew Valley. It's not a bad game, but when it comes to farming games, it's not my cup of tea.
I feel like what most people are looking for in their farming games is more of a life sim type game, which to be fair Harvest Moon has been since the start.
But my favorite farming sim game is Harvest Moon for the Gameboy Color. I played it via the virtual console on the 3ds and I loved it.
First off the limited hardware meant they had to cut a lot of stuff. They managed to still include marriage and children, but I never worked out how to interact with those mechanics. And I didnt need to because I was too busy FARMIIIIING.
Harvest Moon for the GBC was the fundamental farming mechanics distilled down, and it's all you did.
Also in this harvest moon game, the shipping guy who buys your stuff showes up at 5pm. About 3/4ths the way through the day.
Meaning when your crops were done growing you had to HUSTLE to get them put into the shipping box inorder to maximize your profit, and the ammount of crops you can grow the next day.
And that rush of getting your crops put away was incredible fun. Fast paced action to cap off a long stretch of repetitive, yet satisfying, gameplay
So many farming games try to make the planting and growing process easier, by making you able to walk on plants or with sprinklers and stuff. But I want the opposite. I want my game to be all about space and time management.
First off I am thinking of having the delivery guy pickup crops twice or maybe once a week. Forcing you to plan ahead, or store them somewhere.
I also want everything to be done one at a time. Harvesting, watering, etc. In HM GBC you could only hold one item at a time, causing you to run back and forth between your crops and the shipping box. I kinda liked this because it meant you had to layout your farm in such a way that allowed you to move through it efficiently.
Something I want to introduce is CRATES which can hold 8 items of the same type. And they have to be pushed around, kinda like sokoban boxes. I might toy with this a little, maybe allow you to pull them as well. This will make it so you have to be clever with your farm and storage layouts. And to minimize you running back and forward between the farm and the shipping box.
And instead of a shipping box I want an area you can place down crates. And possibly stack them? Again I want to force the player to be clever with how they store their goods. My biggest issue with this is I dont want to limit the ammount of produce you can sell. If you get your shit to the delivery spot in time you get your money.
On top of that I have ideas for crops that require certain configurations inorder to grow. Special soil types that promote the growth of certain crops and harms others. Machines that process crops into higher value products, but take up a lot of space. Maybe special orders to challenge you to grow a certain amount of crops in a period of time.
I gots ideas basically. Right now I've got a video in the works breaking down my progress so far. Super early technical stuff. Expect it soon!
All in all I'm excited to dive into this project. And we'll see what happens, if things go well I may finish it. If not I'll postpone it and work on ThreeEye again.
And as for the tech I'm using, I'm working in C again. Currently I'm using SDL but I may swap the graphics out with Sokol or BGFX in the future.
