I don't want nothing just to share some day 1 facts. It's my birthday tho and surprise surprise I'm down from 215 lbs to 196 lbs (look at the Most High🙌🏾 swipe left to see what the past 3 months have done) I try to eat better, drink plenty of water and move...move... move... move! At the gym, at the office, at my partime time I'm making it a habit not to sit still. I have a goal and I'm still several lbs shy of it but I wanted to share with you that even with the smallest amount of effort we can make some big changes and receive even bigger results. That's all my little special Truth for this 40th birthday girl you guys like it then I love it. Occasionally I do okay with this whole wearing a dress everyday and making it look moderately cute/tasteful/fun/age appropriate etc. Today is one of those days when I feel pretty proud of having a fun day to night transition (see IG stories) while being out and about with papabear 😊 I started the day wearing a bodysuit with cut off shorts and a floral sheer duster with my Adidas. Then I ended the evening wearing that same duster paired with my Sam Edelman sandals and a sleeveless tank dress. The tank dress, duster, fanny pack bag and bodysuit are all from @rainbowshops and since the duster was the statement piece I think it held together both outfits pretty well. I hope everyone has had a wonderful start to your week and have found your thing to be thankful for. Today’s #ADressADayJune #Day20 is a repeat dress I found while #thrifting @crossroads_east last spring (🤔 time to hit them up again). My sandals are the trusty @sam_edelman thongs and no bull one of the best shoe investments I have ever made. So I slept late, went to the gym (leg day) and walked around for like 30 minutes after realizing my favorite nail place was booked... and so was the next one, and the next one😳 Finally found a place that said sure give us 20 minutes and it is now my NEW favorite! Sometimes you just gotta chill and allow things to work themselves out, stop flipping everytime ish doesn't go exactly as you planned, life is much bigger than that B! I digress, this little faux wrap number was purchased from @express last summer for sundresses and whiskey and even though it has alot of clevage I was able to tone it down with this ribbed crop top from @zara. It's Sunday which means work, errands, and bae day. My bodycon striped dress from @gap covered with an overdosed linen dress from a local thrift store serves its purpose of weirdly cute and functional since I need to run around a bit. Meeting a fellow #Bathroomselfies taker is some cool ish.
