why do I keep seeing posts with a bunch of notes that are like "jack antonoff better not be working on [x] taylor's version he'll just put synths on everything" I'm sorry but that is a ridiculous thing to worry about (and it's lowkey embarrassing how little agency some fans seem to think taylor has on her own music)

#1) he most likely won't be working on remaking the originals of any of her country songs since he hasn't so far #2) if he did he would simply make them sound like near identical replicas because that's the point???#3) any vault songs he works on will be bringing taylor's vision to life not forcing his own sound onto her #4) go listen to gaslighter if you need proof he can make an excellent country album #i have bitten my tongue for so long but i cannot keep seeing people say stuff like #'what if he replaces the violins in haunted with synths' like be real!!!#anyway I'm going back to not engaging with the swiftie fandom at large ✌️#talking
