i really love kick scooters i've been using one to get around instead of walking whenever possible since i was like 10 and i'd like to say i'm fairly good at it but sometimes when i'm hurtling downhill at landscape blurring speeds it does occur to me that i'm gambling my life on 2 metal pipes and 2 wheels small enough to be tripped up by a pebble

Is the scooter foldable or easily transportable?
The foldability and transportability of a mobility scooter depend on its specific design and intended use. While some mobility scooters are designed to be foldable and easily transportable, others prioritize stability and durability over compactness. Therefore, it's essential to consider these factors when selecting a scooter to meet individual mobility needs.
Foldable Mobility Scooters:
Many modern mobility 3-wheel scooter scooters are designed with foldable features to enhance portability and convenience. These scooters typically feature collapsible frames, adjustable tillers, and folding seats or components. Foldable scooters are ideal for users who frequently travel or need a compact storage solution. They can be easily folded and transported in vehicles, public transportation, or storage spaces. The folding mechanism may vary depending on the scooter model. Some scooters offer manual folding, while others have automatic or semi-automatic folding systems for added convenience. Non-Foldable Mobility Scooters:
Some heavy-duty or specialized mobility scooters prioritize stability and robustness, which may result in a non-foldable design. These scooters often feature sturdy frames, larger dimensions, and higher weight capacities. Non-foldable scooters are typically suitable for users who prioritize durability, extended range, and enhanced performance over compactness and portability. They may be more suitable for outdoor use or rough terrain. While non-foldable scooters may not be as easily transportable as foldable models, they still offer reliable mobility and independence for various activities and environments. When considering the foldability and transportability of a mobility scooter, users should evaluate the following factors:
Portability Needs: Determine whether frequent travel, transportation, or storage in limited spaces is a priority. Usage Environment: Consider the types of surfaces and terrains where the scooter will be used (e.g., indoors, outdoors, paved roads, or rugged paths). Weight and Size: Check the scooter's weight and dimensions, including when folded (if applicable), to ensure compatibility with transportation methods and storage spaces. Features and Accessories: Explore additional features such as detachable baskets, removable batteries, or transportable accessories that enhance convenience during travel. Ultimately, the choice between a foldable or non-foldable mobility scooter depends on individual preferences, mobility requirements, and lifestyle considerations. By selecting a scooter that aligns with specific needs and priorities, users can enjoy enhanced mobility and independence tailored to their unique circumstances.

I have an ask about your Artprize exhibit. I am planning on going down with my mother to Artprize and she is in a wheelchair due to terminal cancer. Are your pieces visible and able to be seen by people who are in wheelchairs / mobility scooters?
In particular, I am concerned about the arch because looking at the images posted it doesn't look like there's enough space for a wheelchair to get through. And it looks like the art pieces are too high for people in wheelchairs to see. (Not to mention children)
Have you checked to see if people in wheelchairs can view your art? Because this is something that I've run into in the past at museums and it is really frustrating. And I don't want my mom to start crying or just give up because she can't take in the art when she's been supporting Artprize financially and physically since Year One and this is her last year to see it.
The venue is wheelchair accessable, and while a wheelchair won't fit through the arch itself, both the front and back of the arch can be reached in a wheelchair--space constraints being what they were, and wanting the Icarus pieces to be low enough to be viewable but also wanting something to keep people from walking into things meant that we had to put something in the middle of the archway. But you should be able to get right up to the edges of the arch on both sides without problems--the area "through" the arch opens directly to the elevators, and there's about 4 feet of clearance on each side of the display pedestals up to the arch. Getting up close to the arch on the inside may involve running a wheel onto the supporting base, which is 3/4 of an inch tall, but is totally safe to be on. The space I'm in, between the wall and the stairs, is 10.5 feet wide, and the widest display pedestalis a little under two feet.
The display pedestals are 42 inches tall, and most all of the sculptures are only a little more than 12 inches. The only ones that you would want to look "down" into are Icarus the Sea and Narcissus, which you can look down at from the balcony above as well. The balcony is actually at street level. I wanted to make sure that the inside ceilings of the labyrinth pieces were viewable and 42 inches is the reccomended height for "small" artworks, according to my research. I'm hoping the experts were right!
It's not ideal, but working on the space we had we did try to make sure that all of it could be viewed. I would have loved about 2 more feet of width in this space! I'm including the pictures I have that show the layout a little.

The elevators are along the right wall in this last picture.
I did take it into consideration and tried to make compromises that meant I could get everything into the space without making it inaccessible. I hope that I got it right, and that you're both able to enjoy ArtPrize together! Art is for everyone.

heyyy hope ur doing ok !! I’d really love to hear ur thoughts on how the svt members would teach u to drive (or the ones that can drive anyways!) lots of love xoxo
oh my god, this was SO much fun to write (and now i can't think about anything else but them driving)
seventeen teaching you how to drive | ot13
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
CHOI SEUNGCHEOL
𓆩♡𓆪 kind of like driving with your dad (or your dad trying to explain you maths) - at some point you end up crying. He wants to teach you, he really does, but in the end he gets too impatient, so he just yells and takes the steering wheel from you.
YOON JEONGHAN
𓆩♡𓆪 has a kind of “meh” attitude. He teaches you as best as he can, but whatever happens later, happens. Not his issue anymore. But he really tries his best, it’s not like he wants you or anyone else to get hurt.
 HONG JOSHUA
𓆩♡𓆪 very patient and gentle, but maybe too gentle. He doesn’t have the heart to scold you, so even if you speed past a “stop” sign and doesn’t stop, he doesn’t say anything. And every time you ask if you did good, he says yes (and cries a little bit inside).
WEN JUNHUI
𓆩♡𓆪 he tries his best, but teaching someone how to drive is very hard. You’d probably not even make it out of the parking lot, but you’d be a pro at parking the car. Would scream if you got too close to another car.
KWON SOONYOUNG
𓆩♡𓆪 a big no no to this guy. I adore him with my entire heart, but there is no way I would trust him to teach anyone how to drive. He doesn’t care about the speed limits, so there would be a 90% chance you’d get a speeding ticket on your first drive. Also, he’d tell you to turn left at the “no left turn” sign. The music would be blasting and he wouldn’t give a single fuck about anything.
JEON WONWOO
𓆩♡𓆪 a very patient teacher, would recommend 10/10. Explains everything like a pro (is he an idol or a F1 driver). He would be kind of strict though, but just because he wants to properly teach you how to drive and not harm yourself and others in the process.
LEE JIHOON
𓆩♡𓆪 sorry bae, not this time <3
XU MINGHAO
𓆩♡𓆪 takes the job very seriously. Explains everything from the basics about the car itself, but for some reason forgets to teach you the signs. So anytime you ask about a sign, he panics and tells you to just drive faster. As long as you don’t crash into anyone, it’s all good.
KIM MINGYU
𓆩♡𓆪 alongside Wonwoo, the best teacher you could have ever asked for. We know that he taught Chan how to drive, so he would have no problem teaching you how to drive as well. I don’t think I can say anything more about him, except for that I wish he was my driving instructor (mine was more like Seungcheol, it was not live, laugh, love).
LEE SEOKMIN
𓆩♡𓆪 for some reason he makes you drive very slowly, so you’re more rolling down the street than driving. A kid literally passed you on their scooter. Also, he’d focus too much on the nice view and forget that you technically can’t drive (you almost hit an old lady on the zebra crossing).
BOO SEUNGKWAN
𓆩♡𓆪 oh no. no. just no. It’s not that he is a bad teacher, he is just too scared. He doesn’t trust himself enough. He’d be clutching the grab handle above the door and his eyes would be closed at all times. He’d just tell you to drive forward and that would be it.
CHWE VERNON
𓆩♡𓆪 chaotic, but very chill at the same time. He’d mostly be like: you do you boo. You’d have a lot of fun, that’s for sure. If you ever passed the speed limit, he’d be like “yo bro, that’s crazy”.
LEE CHAN
𓆩♡𓆪 another great teacher. Might be a bit scared, because he isn’t that experienced himself, but he does his best. His driving lessons would be very safe and he’d make sure that you felt safe and confident behind the wheel.

Mario Kart headcanons (modern au ig)
The Curtis Kart tournaments are legendary. They all get together once a month for a full-on competition with brackets and eliminations, but they will also just play for fun whenever they want.
Darry would be stupidly competitive, but really bad. My guy would be sweating over this children's game, but don't mention it to him. Two-Bit made fun of him once and instantly regretted it. He'd probably main King Boo because "he looks cool". From there he'd probably just try to optimize his build with rollers wheels, the biddy buggy, and paper glider. (i literally just googled peak build for king boo). He has memorized every shortcut in every map and all of the optimal routes. But even though he tries very hard, he still loses. He doesn't have a track preference, but he hates Baby Park with a passion.
Soda. Soda is THE MOST annoying person you could ever play with. He doesn't care about winning. He doesn't care about anything but making everyone else suffer. He constantly shit talks everyone, especially Darry. He doesn't really care about his character or kart, he just goes with whatever he thinks is funniest. He likes to play as any of the babies because he "is baby". He likes the prancer kart, wild wiggler, or streetle, because he finds them funny. Same thing with wheels (cushion, button, or sponge) and gliders (waddle wing or flower glider). It's just whatever Soda finds funny in the moment. He likes to pick the Baby Park track purely because everyone else hates it. (thank you to my cousins N and V for giving me inspiration, please stop picking baby park)
Pony has fun. He definitely doesn't take it as seriously as Darry, but he does try. He's a really big fan of the Zelda games, so he bases his whole build around it. Link, with the master cycle zero, ancient tires, and the paraglider. He's not a tryhard, but he wins maybe every 1 out of 5 games. He doesn't have a track preference.
Johnny is insanely good at Mario Kart. He goes completely silent while playing, with his eyes locked onto the screen. Sometimes the people who aren't playing will try to make him crack up, or stack things on top of him. He's kinda like those royal soldiers. Nothing breaks his concentration. With his build, he's similar to Pony. Johnny really likes the animal crossing games, so he goes full theme. Isabelle, with the isabelle scooter, leaf tires, and the paper glider. He'll win maybe 3 out of 5 games and is pretty much the best player.
Sometimes Soda, Pony, and Johnny make a deal to go full troll. They play as Iggy, Lemmy, and Larry respectively, with the koopa clown car, hot monster tires, and wario wing glider. Darry absolutely despises whenever they do this and refers to them as "the three fucksketeers".
Those four are the ones who mainly play, but sometimes the others join.
Two-Bit has the same strategy as Soda, meaning there is no strategy. If he's playing, Soda and Pony will rush to pick shyguy because it pisses off Two-Bit. He will then refuse to play because "shyguy is my guy. Shyguy is MY GUY." and eventually they give up and let him pick shyguy.
Cherry is actually pretty good, probably as good as Pony. She doesn't have any preferences in regard to anything, and just picks whatever she thinks is cool that day.
Dally refuses to play because "it's a game for children. Why would I play a game for children?" The one time he did play, he lost so bad that he stormed out of the house and was missing for two hours.
Steve will not play if Pony is playing. Pony will not play is Steve is playing. Their beef runs so deep that they don't need to say anything. They just hate each other that much. Because of this, Steve doesn't really play.
also im so sorry for like spam liking/reblogging ur posts
These were amazing and canon!! I love how detailed everything wasss <3 (and Steve and Pony being such haters of each other they can't play Mario Kart together??? And Dally being a sore loser??? CANON CANON CANON)
and how dare u like my posts 😡(jk jk I love to see ppl engaging with my yapping abt the outsiders ❤️❤️❤️ ty for enjoying the blog!!)
