i wasn’t really paying attention to kpop then so i can’t really say but i don’t think big bang has the traditional boy group image. their image is more rebellious and cool and less ‘i can be your boyfriend’ that other boy groups have. also big bang are considered legends and a kpop icon so they have a ton of fanboys too which is why i think they can get away with more (see how taeyang got married w/o being kicked out of the group vs a super junior member getting married and not being allowed to come back). having said that, i think gd is probably one of the most famous artist in south korea and everyone pays attention to his every move so even if they never confirmed that they were dating, kiko still actually got a lot of hate. also kiko is actually still bashed to this day by gd’s fans if you look at social media.

Unfortunately I never liked Seungri so I didn’t feel a thing when he left or got in trouble. It just felt like it was bound to happen for him. I always had a gut feeling Seungri would become involved in a serious scandal... and here we are now. I always enjoyed bigbang as a group and I consider myself in the fandom . I just had to always put up with him and I could never fully get myself to like him. He’s always been creepy and shady plus he’s annoying and always talked too much never giving the members time to say anything. I just feel so bad for the other boys and what he dragged them into. It’s not their fault but since he was associated so long as a member it had to effect all of them.

See i started liking bigbang and kpop when I was 10ish so like 2010-14 mainly, then I stuck around for made bc I love bigbang but I didn't really care about any other groups (except 2ne1 I will always love them). Like this was before stan twitter existed. So when I was a seungri fan I was a, a tween, and b, an adhd autism child who found his overly loud personality comforting due to my own excitable nature. bigbang were my sole comfort during high school (which was hell) and I felt so very deeply for them. Not to mention all my mental illnesses and the abuse. Bigbang were my safe haven.

Idk the thing is I was a gd fan originally, and a nyongtori shipper (I was 13 don't judge). They were my "otp" (one true pairing ?) which p much boils down to character you identify as/character you're attracted to. Seungri was my id, he made me feel normal (*again I was 13*)

so I had a lot of emotions attached to both of them. Then I stopped listening to kpop, didnt keep up with the news or nothing until start of 2020, so when i came home to the vips there was this big divide and all these things to catch up on and understand.

Like I totally get not liking seungri from the start that's a valid point, especially towards the end when he became mr "business money man look at me im not the maknae I'm a sex machine".

But the reason I get so upset when I see him is because I was gone so long (2015-16ish-2020) amd wasnt there when the news broke and everyone was shocked (Or Not Shocked) and all this shit started. Vips all processed and grieved the loss of a member while it was happening yk?. I just came back and it was done. And it's legit just my own messed up feelings about it. My personap feelings have no bearing on the reality of the situation which is why im ot4.

but then there's all these ot5 people who are, yes entitled to their opinion, but also a little batshit ? I engaged with one once on YouTube (very politely mind you) and then got 16 different accounts trying to fight me, some just telling me they wished my mum was dead, no other comment, nothing, like ???? It's insane. They're cultish.

I just feel so affronted yk? I was one of them, I almost became one when I came back because the divide was so aggressive and I didn't want to believe it. Then they have the fucking cheek to talk like I'm not a real fan like it's so fucking rude and I feel like im denied my grief no matter what yk? I'm not allowed to be sad bc I'm ot4 and the ot5's hate me so in not a real fan and the ot4's are so OVER it and i don't want to be misinterpreted as pitying him or thinking he's a good person and I certainly don't want to be forcing people to think about this shit again when they're done with it yk ??

But im not done, I still have big sad about it sometimes and idk what to do with that. I just wish bigbang would either quit or come back already I can't stand this limbo. I’ve been reading fanfics lately and I was surprised to see some Taeyang-Park Bom ships. I know 2ne1 and Bigbang had shippers shipping the members to each other but I didn’t even know that ship ever existed. I’ve only been familiar with GBom, TopBom/SpringTempo, Daragon/Nyongdal, Darayang, Pandara, TopDara/Gummybears/Tabisan, DaeMinzy/DaeZy, SkyDragon, RiRin, GTop, GRi/Nyongtory, GBae, ChaeRa, and BomZy.

sooo since SJ is a rapper and CL is a rapper also which is more successful? are SJ and BigBang closer then CL and BigBang? Are they friends or is CL jealous of SJ’s relationship with them, especially G? how do the people that ship CL and G Dragon feel or react?

In terms of solo rap careers, CL is more successful than SJ. I mean, home girl performed at the damn olympics 😂 it’s hard to get more successful than that. SJ’s success outside of Bigbang is more for her acting and modeling which she’s grown to love immensely (think along the lines of Leeteuk from Super Junior. He’s a great singer but also really well known and successful as an MC). SJ’s existence doesn’t detract from how close CL is with Bigbang; however, since SJ is the one who is actually a member of the band she’s closer to them. In terms of being close to each other, a lot of female friends in the industry left SJ after she debuted so she tends to keep everyone at arms length. Including CL. CL gets it though and considers SJ a sister whether she likes it or not. They both support each other and SJ’s been seen at CL’s concerts and fanmeets multiple times (this includes 2ne1 concerts and fanmeets). I really can’t imagine CL being jealous of SJ when it comes to GD. Annoyed is maybe more the right word. CL is tired of GD pining over SJ and constantly talking about her. She lives both of them but they’re honestly too much work sometimes. As for shipping, obviously there are lots of ship wars. People who hardcore ship CL and GD constantly compare the two girls and say how superior CL is and how better suited she is to GD. CL doesn’t listen to any of that, of course. She’s just waiting for the day GD finally grows a pair and proposes so she can throw SJ a trashy bachelorette party. (And before anyone asks: yes there is 100% a fan base for ChaeJin and the shippers love their queens).

G-Dragon (Motte Act:III) Experience

Okay.. This is one of the best night of My Life, I have been through so much just to get into this Coliseum, I will give you my schedule that day

First I started to find a Concert buddy since none of my real life friends is crazy enough to go with me they are muggles that are not listening to k pop that much I have a few but not as crazy me. I go to twitter to find VIPs (Big bang fandom name) I actually found loads of them and I was thankful to them we have a system you see.. We made a CSI-like plan to get the best seats since it a free seating

Chapter 1:

will camp out in-front of the Coliseum and take turns to sleep and of course protect our spot.

make a queue number for the whole seating section

take turns again so the others that camp out can take a nap

there is someone who is a look out for freebies (our fandom is the best, they give free water and cookies and oh there is a banner and a lot more actually)

meet up is 9AM

Chapter: 2 The Execution of the plan (Drama starts.. here)

Yes, We are 50% successful here.. You see the picture we are quite proud other members are not here since they are taking a nap but so.. everything went smooth till its my turn to take a shower (this boo do shit always happens to me)

~~Before the queue numbers were agreed to be given since the promoter of the concert is a freaking dumb ass and I am giving a shout out to IME-PH you guys royally screwed up both our boys. (white night is scheduled to be on in about 22 days here y'all already know) The guard who are in-charged of the event started to get all cocky and says that we are not authorized to organize the line because they have a way of doing things and the mini fight we had with them (was one of the most stressful hour of my life) and then finally agreeing to our terms.

I took a shower around 2 pm been protecting the spot for about 8 hrs now,  So my friend chatted me that they started to open the gates and the line broke apart and was not in order and the queue number we gave that was like 700+papers.. while I was there in my dorm.. I quickly change and wanted to teleport to the coliseum.. when I arrived there is  chaos indeed and I took the chaotic atmosphere to my advantage and waltz my way in the entrance and internally praying I wont get caught that I just got there, and guess what? (y'all say what in your head right?) Okay.. I got in like a boss yess a boss and walk thru the long ass line and find my squad in front of those thingies you see only in sub-ways and train stations and found my squad but y'all there was a lot of things that happened but if you are really curious just searched about this in Twitter #MotteinManila to get bits of info, I was really lucky that day, if you have seen the line and the chaos on the line, You will get down on your knees and thank god real time, Anyways I kind of feel bad to the members that took a nap. they were left outside and here we are the one who benefited for their hard work, and just going to give them a shout out, Hi Guys!! you guys are on my first blog!! yay!!

Chapter III: (inside the coliseum)

I can't express with words oh how overwhelming I felt that night, It feels surreal. The person you liked for years, listening for years.. Finally I can see him live with the people around me who loves him just as much, This is my first k-pop concert and it did not disappoint guys. He gave his all like always he sings and rap and it is legit and oh dances like a God, The concert, the set up of his intro of the concert was like a movie and a key pass into his inner thoughts like saying "Welcome to Kwon, Ji Yong's world" not G-Dragon but Kwon Ji Yong and he started with Heart-breaker! I CAN'T EVEN SCREAM BECAUSE I WAS IN COMPLETE AWE. like you rarely see me quite and I am usually a person who jumped around like a madman but I. DID. NOT. It was like.. I am absorbing his presence and aura and at the same time pinching myself asking "Fuck!! is this real? I looked to the people around singing their heart our for Jiyong and chanting his name every chance we get! the beautiful yellow ocean.. is L I T fam

Chapter IV: Jiyong-Dara collab stage after 8ryrs (Daragon whats good?!)

They have these chemistry and weird tension when these two are around each other they have known each other for almost 11yrs? maybe more.. and still.. it is a mystery to me that why they are awkward on-camera than off-camera but anyways.. Dara of 2ne1 is a guest in Motte in Manila best believe ya girl was ecstatic about this just them on stage singing for 3mins is heaven for and to feed my shipper-self little did my shipper-self know that OTP will serve a buffet meal for applers and did 2 songs plus an Encore with matching couple hoodie!!!!! I was like "!!!!!!! triggered !!!!! triggered !!!" Dara improved and her vocals are on point that night, tho I can't hear that much because these two slayed that stage and all you hear is apols screaming and shouting "Daragon" for a good 2 minutes? maybe less.. then back to "Kwon, Jiyong" chant. they sang Missing you and it was very appropriate to my feels they have not had any form of interaction for months since that "joke of the year" that they pulled then hello was next then who you of Jiyong he was so extra and cute calling her Noona "Baby" the feed us well and Encore was a pleasant surprise btw Jiyong hurt his lips and it was bleeding and that boy joked that the mic love him too much then he went back stage and was Dark for a while and then Crooked started playing and the lights went back up fans starting to scream Jiyong's name again when the box thing in middle opened I thought jiyong will pop up but it ain't Ji instead it was Dara Dancing and Jumping like a kid I assumed that jiyong was seriously hurt and got treatment that is why Dara will do the encore instead, To my freaking surprised again it was Jiyong started singing crooked they are so cute let me tell ya.. just look the picture

Chapter V: MOTTE

This is the most important part of the concert, where he was in a room looking himself in a mirror like reflecting.. it was very raw we all know him as the Super star of South Korea, One of the best artist Asia has to offer he is expected to be always number 1 and consistently doing it slaying day by day just to perfect his craft,  half his life he dedicated it to performing and making music that will stay as his legacy but he is human that is what I was reminded while watching that monologue, like he is telling me that he has flaws and he is not perfect I felt sad when he said that sometimes G-Dragons clothes feels heavy on his shoulders, I was thinking as a fan I only admire him as GD untouchable in Music Charts, living a very glamorous life he is that Trendsetter everyone wants to follow.. there are two questions in the video and I thought about it.

Who is G-Dragon to you?

He is a Leader of the Best Boy Group I have come to love over the years, He is a music producer and founder of peaceminusone , He is one of the best rapper in his generation and one of the people who paved the way for Korean Music to get recognized all over world Him and Bigbang help other Artist to be recognized internationally for me, they hold the key for me to appreciate the other culture and language. He is a national treasure to me.

2. Who is Kwon Ji yong to you?

I shall ask his family? But watching the concert and observing him over the years.. Kwon Jiyong is a shy guy and He is a Brother, Son and a Friend ~ I have seen a glimpsed of Kwon Jiyong on his concert and I want to know him more, I hope you continue to live as Kwon Jiyong more do whatever makes you happy and be careful when you enter the Military we are all going to wait for all of you.

It was one of the best generation of Kpop seriously I don’t really have an bias until I found SHINee XDD I was a Shawol for about 4 years And KiBum was my bias I had so much fun being a Shawol and a Jongkey shipper . And thennnnnnn in late 2011 when SM announced new boy group I wasn’t really into it until I saw Luhan first appearance on GayoDaejun I was like damnnnn who is this guy?? and I thought his name was Ruhan from my broken Korean reading. So started looking forward to the new boy group and just to found out about EXO and the 12 members including Luhan I was so freaking excited for each member’s teaser like ASDFGJKL I knew I was trapped. Actually Chanyeol wasn’t my first exo bias it was Luhan but Chanyeol has caught my attention in his teaser somehow. Later on until they have their showcase in 2012 Chanyeol was joking that he was exo-k leader and I actually believed him it was for April fool ASDGJKL and that’s how Chanyeol becoming my ultimate bias I really love his goofy side and everything.
