The more they all establish credibility on their own the more credibility they will bring to 1D if/when they decide to reunite as well! It’ll be less “washed up boyband trying to be relevant again” and more “successful solo artists bringing together what they learned on their own”

that’s a good point!! but i wonder what it’d be like for them to reunite as a group and try to recapture the dynamic that allowed four powerful solo artists to work well together in the first place, or figure out a new dynamic entirely? especially since they’ll all be older, as well, and all that entails; more mature, more experienced, with a clearer idea of who they want to be...it’ll sure be so interesting to watch and see!
