Charcadet Headcanons
Charcadet headcanons nobody asked for below the cut! ((fixed some grammar errors cause typed them on phone jkhdsh excuse the reblog))
Despite being Fire types and having an actual flame on their heads, they are in fact safe to touch - minus the very top of the head, that flame will sting a lot. I imagine Fire Pokemon in general can regulate their heat and body temperature on their own, so they can stay warm in cold climates and not overheat during heatwaves.
So they feel very warm to the touch, just the right comfy temperature to snuggle with during winter. And speaking of, Charcadet are pretty touch-starved, their mentality is that of a young child or toddler. They love pats, but they adore hugs and with a trainer they love, it makes them feel safe.
They are feisty little guys who aren't scared to pick fights, but the stress of facing stronger Pokemon is still a lot in order to survive in the wild. So being carried around or sitting in their trainer's lap gives them a very strong sense of security they didn't know they needed. Once they evolve they will 100% return this act of kindness.
Very emotional Pokemon, some Charcadet more than others and therefore act on impulse, so they can be loose canons in that regard. They hate backing out of challenges, and they especially hate the idea of ignoring someone who threatens their loved ones and will absolutely start a fight if someone so much as blinks at their friends the wrong way. This is usually a stage and they will grow to act more maturely, but that urge to protect will stay - only the aggression will mellow down slightly.
They are very active and hardworking - dangerously so and need to be held back at points - especially in terms of battling, to prevent them burning out (pun). When unwell, their colors desaturate slightly, and its most noticeable on their head crest flame.Â
In summary, theyâre like toddlers but capable of breathing fire, theyâre very loving and loyal and will show immense appreciation should they receive the same courtesy back.

VUD paladin headcanons!!!!
BTW this is based off of @voltronuniversaldefender âs reboot!!! CHECK THEM OUT THEYRE DOING GODâS WORK
also i have read approx 2 headcanons and baRELY understand this AU so if there are similarities to anyone else or inconsistencies iT IS AN ACCIDENT AND IM SORRY
anyway this is just about the 4 confirmed paladins BET ill be doing more about Faârah/Takashi/Zahi/Ashanti once i know a bit more about their roles in the team!!
Alvaro Garcia Valladares
he has a twin. i don't make the rules, but he has a twin.
he has a big family. the biggest family. weâre talking, his mom has 8 siblings and his dad has 9 and thereâs a 10 year age gap between him and his oldest sibling and he loves them all so much
natia is his best friend. i repeat, NATIA IS HIS BEST FRIEND!!!!
heâs also quite close with kiki. Natia and Kiki are the only two that he met before their great space adventure
he wasn't really sure of his sexuality at first. (i say this because i wasn't sure of my sexuality at first - im bi btw - and all the media i saw told me that any lgbt+ character was 100% sure of their sexuality form the day they were born, which made me doubt myself bc i didn't figure it out till recently, so i wanna see that in some media!! sometime!!) he probably figured it out halfway through having a crush on someone
the someone is akio, and he definitely tells Natia about it first
ânatia... natia listen.... I have a crush on akio. freakin akio.... what do i do??? Iâm bi, natia... I'm bi. what does this mean -â
âalvaro, I'm so proud of you, but this is a public bathroom and akio is right outside -â
GUARANTEE that the first time he saw Akio he just basically wanted to fight him but also flirt with him and had a slight moral crisis and ended up doing nothing
he is a goddamn sharpshooter, okay. he straight up becomes famous for it throughout the galaxy.
yet despite that heâs still insecure, and those insecurities prevent him from really getting together w akio until much later
he comes off as very suave and extroverted when you first meet him, but underneath it all, heâs actually really warm, personable and funny: not that anyone outside the team know thatÂ
aliens on social media, probably: god, the blue paladin is so cool... i bet heâs amazing and awesome and eloquent...
meanwhile, alvaro: do u guys think i could fit my whole hand in my mouth or nah?
enjoys memes, and shares this love with kiki
basically an all around great guy. because he often felt like a seventh wheel at the beginning of the formation of the team, he always tries to include everybody as best as possible, going way out of his way to ask after people, even if they forget to ask about him sometimes :â)
Natia Nanai
first off: what a gorgeous name. seriously. incredible kudos, my dude. anyway on to the head canons for this gorgeous girl
probably alvaroâs soulmate. already mentioned this, but it needs reiteration. they are best friends
had a large family too (not as big as alvaros tho) and probably major relate to him with that big family dealio
v close with kiki. they complete each other on a technological level.Â
natia is very, very creative. she and her sweet engineering know how are always instrumental in getting the Team out of tough situations
Akio: theres no way out of this weâre going to die -
Natia: bet?
she does say âbetâ a lot. like, almost too much? but she's always right and valid when she says it
the villain: iâve got you now!!!!
natia, under her breath: bet
the paladins, thinking: thank god, weâre saved
very soft but also badass as hell. she has a unique duality.
pulls a violet baudelaire: she puts that GORGEOUS hair up in a ponytail when doing work or whenever she has an idea
everyone on the team, regardless of sexuality, is low-key in love with her because sheâs just so nice. no one can hate her. she's way too solid of a friend
speakinG of being a great friend: natia is 100% the secret keeper up in this bitch. everyone comes to her because they know sheâs got the best advice around and will take their secrets to the grave
akio: idk man... alvaro is just rlly cute, u know?? but i can't tell him...
natia, thinking of alvaro literally whining to her about akio not even five minutes ago: christ
the mom friend. she always has all the things everyone needs on hand or in her lion, and sheâs got it all going in terms of chore charts and family meals. she is the queen of figuring out times for team bonding and everyone loves her more for it
definitely started a board game night asap
she has a silent bravery about her that no one else can match. despite her trepidation, natia will always do what has to be done for the greater good.Â
she is guided by her heart and her morals, and is easily the kindest person on the team
bc of this kindness, she is often the diplomat when conflicts arise between people on the team
she is seen by the general public (aka the galaxy) as a strong, morally righteous woman. kind of like rosie the riveter-esque??? sheâs the symbol of justice and fairness.Â
aliens: she's so... peacekeeping :0
natia, at kiki: throw me that wrench, or so help me god -Â
basically, a queen who always considers everyone and works really hard to create a family, even when they're all so far from home :â)
Kiki Evans
generally over it tbh
âalways tired, but always inspiredâ - kiki, on being asked why there were dark circles under her eyes
kind of standoffish. sheâs not really about being nice, she's about getting the job done, and that can rub people the wrong way, since she is always the first to offer up the cold, logical solution
but underneath that, sheâs just a computer science nerd who is loyal to a fault
she really is loyal. its almost dangerous sometimes, because she would put the universe in danger to save her friends, which actually comes into conflict with her typical cold, logical approach.
she has 0-1 sibling. she's every bit the single child. she cannot relate to living in a big family setting, and at first its hard for her to deal with before she warms up to everyone else on the team
she's a genius, and thus found school to be tedious. in fact, she got fairly bad grades, as she wouldn't do the work that she saw as pointless and boring
she is a meme connoisseur, and loves to quote vines, often assisted by alvaro
kiki, as they approach a giant black hole: HZZK
alvaro, catching on immediately: is... is that real???
she is a conspiracy theorist, for sure. the government is watching us all, trying to make sure we don't learn too much.... sheâs sure of it, and akio is too
tbh, the first proper conversation she had with akio was about cryptids and how the government had hidden them from the public
she was friends w natia and alvaro from before, but it is akio she becomes closest with the fastest. in some ways, she feels more distant from natia/alvaro bc of how close they are with each other and  bc all of them have known each other for so long while akio is someone she got to know recently: he has no preconceptions about who she used to be, and she has none about him
plus, she and akio relate on many levels: both trans, both gay, both autistic, both theorists, and both loyal to a fault. she finds a real blood brother in akio :D
very openly gay. very. she's a space lesbian, and theres no denying it
kiki, meeting some random space girl: oh
kiki, moments later to akio: god I'm gay
akio, downing a glass of water but acting like its vodka or smthg: god, same
the public sees her as the cold and calculating techie, the brains of the operation
natia is her partner in crime. they finish each others sentences. they've got a tech connection going, babey
kiki: if we just cross-reference the zaiforge tunnel with the -
natia, nodding: particle consummator, of course weâll get the perfect -
them, together: amount of energy!!!
everyone else: sorry wot
basically, she's a tech goddess with a splash of genius. she's uneasy and a bit awkward, but thats just bc sheâs never been in a situation like this before. after literally 1 second with her, she opens up and is such a loyal friend. :â)
Akio Himura
wow this boy is gay and he knows it
he loves his parents (zahi, takashi, and ashanti) but god he will never admit it. not ever
alvaro, after listing his parents, 20 aunts and 100 cousins: and i love them all so much, with all my heart. what about ur family akio?
akio, not wanting to show weakness: they're nerds.
alvaro: um okay cool good talk haha :)
akio, internally: but i love them nd would die for them tbh... but i can't show weakness
he's so guarded after his biological parents left/died/disappeared. poor boy
definitely a single child, and definitely adopted
his parents love him SO MUCH. so much.
akio: why do i have three parents, dad?
takashi, almost crying: its simple. u deserve so much love, that it couldn't be contained in just two people. we needed three. its how its gotta be, my beautiful, sweet summer child
a yeehaw kind of guy. he grew up in the midwest riding horses before his biological parents died and theres a piece of him that will always be a southern boy
the kind of kid in school that pretends heâs a delinquent, but actually just has the aesthetic of a delinquent, and is truly soft
akio: hell yeah I'm a rebel. i logged onto disney.com without my parents permission
kiki, choked up: so brave
mothman is his love. his passion. all cryptids, for that matter. kiki is more of an all around conspiracy theorist: akio is in it for the cryptidsÂ
heâs a bit awkward, and doesnât totally understand all social cues/jokes. because of this, he stays away from memes, and is very guarded when meeting new people, especially after experiences with light bullying for not only his social ineptitude, but his upbringing.
considering that, his first meeting with alvaro was supremely awkward, and akio accidentally fought with him multiple times before they established a solid friendship
akio, having a gay panic: you are the light of my life
alvaro: sorry what??
akio, panicking more: I said, you wanna fiGHT WITH A KNIFE???
he pined after alvaro from basically day one, but had the foresight to actually know that he was pining, unlike alvaro who just floundered
of course he would never say anything
he is a stabby boi. he is unrivaled in swordplay, and enjoys routine. his natural affinity for picking up new skills plus his unrivaled work ethic basically DESTROYED everyone else when it came to swords
heâs loyal af and is always the first one to take action. akio is a âdo something. do anything, but do it fast before we lose a chance to do somethingâ kind of guy
the general public sees him as the fiery one: heâs the one with the fanciest footwork in a fight, and heâs very good with battle tactics. he can come thru with that strategy at the perfect times
he's a low-key emo. for sure. he loves MCR, but strangely dislikes other similar artists like p!atd and fob.Â
kiki: but...brendon urie, akio....
akio, sipping tea: as a gay, i can appreciate the aesthetic. but no one can compete with MCR
kiki, exasperated: its not a competition -
basically, a slightly guarded boy with a real talent for defending the universe and his friends, but also an emo cowboy mess who is in love with alvaro and loves everyone :â)
WELL THAT ENDED UP LONGER THAN I EXPECTED. I HOPE U ENJOY AAAA
ALSO FOLLOW @voltronuniversaldefender !!!! its amazing, guys, really check it out :D

28 times black people were effortlessly environmentalists
i got inspired by all the posts wishing me a happy black history month, that i had to jump in and big up the numerous ways that black folks stunt in the world of sustainability. and no, this isnât a list filled with facts about 28 eco-leaders in the black community, thatâs a whole other post that needs to be published.
this is 28 things commonly known in the black community that we take for granted, but are very much so actions of environmentalism. and itâs more than 28 ways, i could go on for millions of years, like my ancestors, but weâre sticking to 28 because, well, you know why.Â
1. black people reuse old containers. whether is that tin can that had shortbread cookies in it one christmas, or butter tubs, or that crisco can full of grease. instead of purchasing tupperware made from virgin materials, we cut back on manufacturing and go the âfeed two birds with one handâ route. if i buy this butter tub, i will have butter now, and a food container later. genius!
2. emancipated ourselves through slave revolts and the underground railroad. yup, our most warrior moves in our modern history, was also an anti capitalist move. this is huge! capitalism, and the consumerism by product, is the biggest contributors to climate change; it exploits natural resources like metals found in your phone and coal used to light factories. our demand for things whether itâs cotton to make a pair of trousers in the 1700s or a new cellphone in 2018; Â itâs all increasing unused carbon in the air.by resisting, we slowed down demand. also, since agriculture is a leading contributor to climate change because of pesticides by abandoning the agriculture fields, where sugar and cotton both strip the soil of itâs nutrients, we gave the land a major rest.
3. our mommas told us to âturn off the damn lights.â yes, she was trying to save her coins, and why not?! the energy system is monopolized anyways, why spend money with a company you are forced to be in a relationship with. two, cutting down on electricity is cutting doing on fossil fuels (coal or gas) extracted from the earth. this is important because carbon is energy, and energy is never gained or loss, it simply goes some where else. so keeping your mommaâs kitchen light on when you not in there, means more coal with be extracted from earth, burnt to put energy into a grid and then sent to your mommaâs house via a power line. once the energy it burnt it is exhausted into the air. so instead of that energy being in in the ground itâs now in the atmosphere, making the air warmer, making places that arenât typically hot like the Arctic, melting archaic ice, rising sea levels, and in the future possibly pushing you and your momma out of your house because of horrible flood damage, and now your property is considered a floodplain.
4. multiple families living in a single home. my family like many black families and even families of color have lived with multiple people outside of their nuclear family in the house. most of my childhood, some extended family lived in my parentsâ house. my aunt and her kids, my uncle, godmother, granddad. how is a crowded house an environmental plus? homes take up lots of energy, imagine all those people forgetting to turn off your mommas lights. :-D trying to keep homes warm or cold require an insurmountable amount of energy, the more people in one house means less energy usage, also more body heat. and donât front like your favorite memories werenât created in a house full of people.
5. our elders tell us âno ins and outs.â again, an issue of energy usage, when children run in and out of the house they ar eletting air (or heat) out of the house making our controlled climate sysmtem to work harder to keep our home at a certain temperature.
6. when yall packed snacks for outings. moms probably made an amazing tuna salad for the beach. you may have missed out on boardwalk fries and pizza slices, but look at the upside, oyu avoided so much packaging all those years.
7. when the matrons kept a few good plants. whether itâs hanging from a macrame-styled planter or in her garden, greenery is always good for the air. also photosynthesis is a sink in the carbon cycle, meaning is absorbs carbon helping to decrease carbon in the atmosphere.
8. when families sit on the porch. a seemingly idle activity, but it is a huge element of community activism. how else are neighbors suppose to talk about their kids asthma, the rotting smells of landfills, or getting more fresh foods into their neighborhood? on the porch is where conversations are sparked that could lead to policy change, closing landfills, or even, the drafting of something as powerful as the âprinciples of environmental justiceâ. also, healthy communities = healthy planet.
9. when that plastic grocery bag has 237 lives. conditioner cap, fried chicken batter bag, lunch box, bathroom trashcan liner. itâs in our DNA to be resourceful, why buy cheap single use showers caps when you can use a plastic bag before you turn it into a trash bag?
10. seeing the potential in a 98% empty toothpaste tube. thereâs no such things as waste, and thereâs still toothpaste in that tube. my trick? pinch the head of your tooth brush directly into the tube cap.
11. our enslaved ancestors made a meal out of pig intestines. being from a 5% household, iâve never been into pork, but i find beauty in my ancestorsâ ingenuity to turn literal shit into sugar. this is zero waste at best. globally family of the diaspora have used every part of their preferred animal. the ancient tribes of the americas who use every part of the buffalo, my carribean yardies who can cook a mean goat and save the leftover for mannish water. zero waste takes a lot of creativity, to avoid the trash can, the most convenient, yet unfortunate option. Â
12. when you sick, take a nap. medical care, one of the largest expenditures for the american budget. lotâs of infrastructure, products and people banking on your sickness so they can âcureâ you. chances are high that you can sleep off whatever is wrong with you, before you need to go to see a physician.
13. the montgomery bus boycotts. for 381 days, black commuters in montgomery, opted-out of the bus system. Considering the amount of fuel it takes to get a city to work for 381 days, black commuters help to cut fossil fuel usage and decrease particulates and carbon released into the air from the busâ tail pipes.
14. when we take public transit. yes, contrary to #13, but public transit i still an alternative transportation option to cars. the us has the third largest vehicle per capita at 795 people out of every 1,000 people. cars reliance contributes to climate change with exhaust of particulates making the atmosphere warmer, water runoff (subsequent flooding) from asphalt (impervious) roads, maintenance and upgrades, all demanding more manufacturing, more carbon usage. Â
15.  since we still donât have complete road infrastructure in our countries. this is tricky, because people praise roads for their ability to offer accessibility to jobs, but it also means an increase of development, gentrification, removal of indigenous folks from land theyâve stewarded for centuries, more trash flying in to sacred places, etcâŚ. the best way i can say this is thereâs no jobs on a dead planet.
16. crafted the principles of environmental justice. in 1991 we, with our brown and yellow brothers, crafted the principles of environmental justice, during the First National People of Color Environmental Leadership Summit, shout out to Ms. Dana Alston. the list of principles is the coldest thing iâve ever seen written on behalf of the planet. my favorite principles? Â
#4 Environmental Justice calls for universal protection from nuclear testing, extraction, production and disposal of toxic/hazardous wastes and poisons and nuclear testing that threaten the fundamental right to clean air, land, water, and food.
#9 Environmental Justice protects the right of victims of environmental injustice to receive full compensation and reparations for damages as well as quality health care.
#8 Environmental Justice affirms the right of all workers to a safe and healthy work environment without being forced to choose between an unsafe livelihood and unemployment. It also affirms the right of those who work at home to be free from environmental hazards.
17. black americans stayed in the south. post reconstruction era, for those of us that took the road less traveled. we stayed in the south and maintained a connection to the land. we stewarded the land, keeping rural farms in black ownership for over 100 years while also expanded their resourcefulness (see #21 remedies) as black southerners were intentionally isolated from resources (racism). shout out to fannie lou hamer.
18. moved up north. contrary to staying in the south, folks moved up north during the great migration for âopportunities.â sure, there was a lot of industrial jobs, but whatâs bigger than that is the minimized lifestyle. thanks to red lining, black people were racially discriminated against and only able to live in ghettos, confined to centralized areas in the uban core, making walking to work or public transit more accessible (see #14), living quarters were smaller so know need to heat an empty house ( see #4), condensed purchasing because a lack of homes square footage and funds (see #)
19. hand me downs. yall got a shirt that made it through a whole line of cousins? yea, me too. we are in a time where american hands me downs are stifling clothing markets in african countries, so getting your big cousins bedazzled jeans aint so bad. and my soap box, never buy brand new baby clothes, like fah what!?!!
20. you got mcdonaldâs money. easily one of the corporations that hate black people and the planet the most. and even though that corporation hates both black people and the earth, it exploits both. micky dâs takes our money, bombards our neighborhoods, feeds us crap and makes us look like clowns in marketing campaigns. all while contributing to obesity, high blood pressure and diabetes cases, so no, we ainât got no mcdonaldâs money.
21. home remedies and traditional african medicine. before capitalism saw an enterprise in the health of people, our ancestors were developing cures and ailments with plants found in nature;; tonics, elixirs, poultices, YOU NAME IT! Â some modern day remedies include; red clay and vinegar for bee stings, chickweed tea if youâre sick, mint for digestion, rubbing your skin with eucalyptus to keep mosquitoes away. onions on the bottom of your feverous feet and #12 above. a few of my favorites.
22. marooning. from north african moors to the somalian gypsies on caravans through the dessert, to the isrealites in exile from egypt to nanny in the jamaican mountains to the escaped slaves on the coasts of ecuador and columbia to the geechee folks on the gullah islands to MOVE in Philly; we are the the original off-the-griders. going into maroon communities (like many communities built after revolts and âmaking itâ north) we relied heavily on the earth for livelyhood including food and shelter, it reconnected us with the land in a very intentional way. we ainât new to this we true to this. weâve always been nomads, when a place doesnât provide us with our most basic needs, we dip. this is eco-friendly for several reasons. 1. we understand the importance of living of the land, and because of that we are better stewards of the earth. 2. in maroon cases we didnât have the infrastructure like running water, so we may have depended on natural catchment systems, 3. we likely composted food and human waste to create our own safe and sanitary waste systems.
23. black farmers. as much as we predominately run from the idea of farming, there are many black families that continue our legacy of farming. our legacy of farming didnât start in the slave trade. matter of fact, some of us were kidnapped to american because we could grow a particular crop, like rice (which the us affectionately calls âcarolina goldâ). farmers are the most concerned citizens about the state of the planet. climate change and the human impact on agriculture could mean a food scarcity and lost of jobs. there is a growing number of young farmers filling in the intergenerational gaps between them and the elder farmers, so that we donât loose these skills. we are grateful.
24. being financially poor. there is a positive feedback between the increase in climate change and the increase in global affluence. and that is because as more people have more disposable income, they buy more dispensable things. for instance, shoes in every color instead of one pair of functional shoes for work. with countries like India and Chileâs growing middle class, we are over-consuming for what the planet can handle. not that itâs glamorous but being poor means that you are contributing less to climate change. in fact, the countries most vulnerable to climate change make up 70% of the worldâs population, but only 3.2% of the global greenhouse gas emissions.
25. historically being sea explorers, alchemist, astrologists, engineers, masons. our skill sets run deep, and many ofthem are reliant on the earth. mansa musa, the worldâs richest man, used a certain sea current to carry him and his 2,000 boats to the americas. also, you remember how we built those massive three triangular monuments, that were built without any construction equipment. that are aligned with the stars and the summer solstice, when the sun reaches itâs highest point in the sky.
26. literally the entire being. essence. and inspiration. that is george washington carver. carver the great, developed techniques to prevent soil depletion caused by cotton farming. one of his most notable techniques was crop rotation a practice used by many farmers (see #23) today. he also created 200 products from the peanut plant and another 100 from the sweet potato. he wrote literature on how to start self-sufficient gardens, uses for wild plants and how to compost. he is the GOAT!
27. reusing grease for frying. every black family got a old pot of grease. if not, check your pockets for your black card. the notorious pot of grease is symbolic to so many things; 1. your family understands that nothing should be single-use, you need a handful of uses out of everything, even cooking grease. 2. your mother knows how to save a good coin. 3. thereâs been several crispy dinners cooked at your house. 4. the next fried meal gonna be fiy, because the flavors from the last four fryings have marinated at the bottom of the pan.
28. midwifery. a practice we never lost through time. even, when hospital services became available to black families, some women have always preferred a midwife to deliver their babies. in this way, black midwives are helping to usher more life onto the planet; creation being the number one late of nature. their practices tend to be holistic, and  that cutbacks on epidurals and disposable hospital garbs.
thatâs all folks! black people are certified everywhere, you ainât gotta check our resumes

Tomorrow isnât Promised
I saw an ad for a game on Facebook. A clip really. There were couples staring at each other. Some crying, some laughing nervously. All I remember was this one profound question: "If this were to be our last conversation, what is one thing youâd never want me to forget?â
A seed was born from the question. I figured, Iâd ask people. At first, I asked the closest people to me, then I expanded the circle. Needless to say, I freaked a whole bunch of people out. Before I get to the responses I want you to know that a lot of these are deeply personal, so I will not include names. Some people who follow me on here, MAY know some of the individuals, but not all.Â
I am NOT sick. I am totally ok. I found the question so profound, I HAD to ask it. I have no regrets.
If there was a way to share all of the screen shots, I swear I would but trust me, there were just so many.
Some people responded with just 1 thing. Some people responded with long beautiful messages. They are all appreciated and I will forever hold them dear to my heart.
All, but 4 people, received a response to the question from me. I wonât divulge my responses because as soon as I pressed send, they no longer belonged solely to me. Just know a good response for most was: you made me cry. Â
Iâll be typing the responses to the question. Some people gave multiple responses so I may give both. Â
I had a conversation with my confidante and she says that this is amazing. Sort of like a living eulogy. She asked me if I knew these things the people were saying. I explained to her that in truth, I never really thought about it. In the end I learned 2 valuable lessons:Â
Younger males mainly speak of themselves.
You never really know the profound impact you have had on another persons life. Youâll see what I mean.
Without further ado, here are the responses, in no particular order:
To value your worth. To never forget that I love you and the kids. That youâre a great writer. A great friend. A great mother. I canât name just one. Donât forget to give your friends a blanket.
That I love you & I know I was difficult growing up but I always loved you even when it mightâve felt like I didnât. And that I forgive you.
That I greatly appreciate your genuine friendship and you will always hold a special place in my heart. and thatâs the truth.
That I love you
How much I love you
How genuine and good-hearted youâve always been, no matter what life has thrown at you. Your situation never changed your heart, in Janeeâs words, youâve stayed golden.
One thing? That I love you.
That I love you. Why are you talking like that?
That I am always here for you and that I have and have always had. nothing but love for you.
Sheesh, I donât know if I interpreted this question correctly but:  If this is our last conversation because you are on your death bed I would say: In life, it sometimes feels like the world was simply horrible. Nothing was good and it was full of hate and anger. Thank you for being someone that gave hope just by being her positive self. I know that because you were my hope when the world seemed horrible with simple gestures. May not have changed the world, but it saved me some days. If it was because we fell off or some other shit: You was always lit. Stay golden. Donât change for nobody. I wish you the best.
Iâm your child. No matter how much u deny me !! and I love you!
I appreciate all the kindness and support youâve always shown me.
I would want you to know how much I love you and how much youâve impacted my life in such a positive manner. How much I love that youâre not just my aunt but youâre like my best friend, and how I feel that you out of most people understand me on a different level.
You prob the funniest chick I know the pleasure of knowing. Thereâs your one thing.
Omg donât say that but I would say you are a beautiful person inside and out and the world is a better place because you are in it. You have a beautiful family and friends that love you.
Id never want you to forget how much I GENUINELY appreciate our conversation. How you were there for me and gave me so much words of wisdom when I was going thru the worst time of my life. How you satisfied my craving of violets when I was pregnant with Mychael..and how much you make me laugh thru social media because you are so funny!
That you really will be missed and that I wish our friendship happened sooner so Iâll have more time with you!!! You are greatly appreciated.
I love you with all of my heart. Youâre an inspiration to me. Words could not describe what you are to me. More than a cousin, more than a sister. Awilda Lee was the brightest thing in our lives when she came along. Thank. you for her. Thank you for having unconditional love for me that my Wela had. I have very fond memories at 533. Youâre in almost all of them. From music out the window to your word processor and all your CDâs. My love of music comes from you.
That I love you like MY blood sister!
Us when we was living with grandma on 139th street, while you play Richard Marx âiâll be Right Here Waiting for You.â Til this day when I hear that song I see you playing it. I love you.
That Jesus loves you so much He gave His life for you in order to offer you forgiveness for all the wrong youâve done & a way for you to live with Him eternally in His presence & that its. never to late to give him a change because Heâs always by you waiting.
That you are very loved. Good morning honey.
Jesus loves you!
If this were my last conversation with you I would want you to never forget that you are an amazing person from the first time I met you as Dr. D secretary til now, the only thing that has changed is your hair color and your age lol. I genuinely have love for you. Your free spirit and outspokenness is always welcome in my world. I know you said one thing but I had more than one thing lol. Oh and youâre a bomb writer. So when you publishing your 1st book?
That you were an amazing friend that honestly left an imprint in my life.
What an awesome job. youâve done with Joaquin!!
Morning lol your smart mouth and trouble shooting skills.
I wouldnât want you to forget how absolutely amazing I think you are. You were there for me when I needed you most. Helping me with my son and a shoulder to cry on. For that, I will be forever grateful.
Fine. Iâd want you to never forget that not only do we have the same teeth, that weâre cousins on both sides of our family and that youâre first daughter looked exactly like me when she was younger. And that although we donât speak much, I love you more than anything.
My gap
That I love and youâre my favorite person in life and I am grateful that God put us together and I hope we together in the next life too.
How hard we laughed together.
How I never judged anyone. Good morning. (I think they mean how u, meaning me, never judged anyone)
How much I love you.
How much I love and appreciated you. Â
How valuable I feel our friendship is and how much your wisdom and guidance has helped me in very difficult times. I appreciate and love you very much.
That I love you
That although growing up we were not close. I still have a great deal of love for you and I absolutely enjoy every single lil time we share together. and our sex talk at times (they meant we talk about it, not that we talk it to each other)
That I love you. That you are special strong funny.
That you are love
That I love you unconditionally because you are extremely unique.
That you have a warm and tender heart and a fierce outer shell. You are an incredibly strong and smart woman.
That you are an absolutely amazing human being & that you deserve all the happiness and love that this world has to offer. Never stop smiling.
That I love you and everything about you.
You will forever be my favorite bookworm. Youâve written your own book in my life.  âThat loyal friendâ by OV. You speak my love language you always have and I am just as honored to have you in my corner. I love you. my dear friend. Sincerely, KR.
Everyday of my. younger life, all I wanted to do was find you guys! Once I did, I felt I was becoming complete! Meeting you guys when you yâall came to Cali was EVERYTHING I could have asked for and more! You guys are ones I work for EVERYDAY! Once I make this generational wealth, I got yâall! I promise you that!
I know itâll sound cliche but I donât thin you will ever truly know and understand how truly and deeply I care and love you. You helped pull me out of really dark place, you are an amazing soul. You are one of the rare ppl that i actually think of when i think of love and friendship and i thank you for being a part of my life.
That youâre my Binobo (a species of monkey - look it up)
When I would nag you on the 1st of the month.
That you should never forget how much you are loved. That your generosity of spirit and goodness far surpasses any flaws. That you are sooooo much more worthy, than you think you are. That I would never want you to settle for anyone who isnât a really good person to you and the kids. Most importantly, I would pass on something that my Great Aunt once told me to always remember...If it doesnât bring you peace, then it isnât from God. In my experience, those words have always proven true. You know in your heart and it your gut - there is a very definitive, distinct sense of peace, when things are right. God only wants that sense of calm and joy, and He gave us the instinct to recognize the difference. (AMEN!)
I truly donât like the tone of this question. But it would be your honesty. Youâve always been so open and honest about your story and it was a breath of fresh air for me.
Your humor and smile is always up lifting.
Awwwww. You are my counselor. You always have the best advice you are the sassiest glamma I know and the queen of essential oils lol. you add a special something to the world that only you can. A tell it like it is type of chick, who always keeps it 100%. Itâs been such a pleasure having you in my world.
If itâs a thought about you, it wold be that I thought were smarter, funnier and at least a little better looking than the average bear. If itâs a memory, besides the short jokes and dancing, I would want you to remember, well itâs a toss up. Remember the time I lied about cooking food I brought in lunch, that it was really Lydia who made it, and she busted me.
Iâd say thank you for being the parents that you are and thank you for allowing me to influence your little treasure and for keeping in contact with me.
Donât forget to put me in your will. Lol just playing. That I love you of course.
How much I love you and thank you for always being neutral even if youâre his coworker lol.
Iâd want you to know...While there is a great physical distance between us, I feel close to you. I love that you had a special relationship with my mom and hope that we can have our own. Big hugs to you.
1. That I love you. 2. that I would like you to raise my kids if anything happened to me or my wife.
That my heart was pure whether they were good or bad to me. To be honest I just want people to know that Iâve always been a good soul and did my best to be there for those who needed me, just a selfless individual.
Youâre the best grandma Saniyah will have from marriage you love her like sheâs really your daughters child and I love it. wouldnât want it any other way.
Nuestra amistad (TRANSLATION: our friendship)
I love you
Never forget that I love you and God is good.
I donât want it to be our last conversation but one thing that i donât want you to forget is that you called me Thunderbuddy.
That I love you. That youâre an amazing person! Wait thatâs two things right? LOL
Never forget who got you high.
1. Donât forget to brush your teeth (stephenâs voice) 2>. Donât forget to keep being unapologetically yourself.
How cute and funny I am lol
I wouldnât want you to forget the laughs weâve shared. Our birthday body suits.
Thank you for reading,
XOXO

Descendants of the Sun - D-Day part II
Week 19, day 4 So finally the moment had come for a new heir to be chosen. Uzume realized right at that point, when they were all sitting around the table, that she never explained the legacy to any of them. She had been too busy being happy with her children, that she kind of forgot to tell them only one of them could have Godly children and stay in the house. Uzume: âSo I all called you here today because I have something important to tell you⌠only one of you can be my true heir and continue the Legacy of Gods and Goddesses. All the others have to leave the house and their children will be mere humans. There. Now that this is off the table⌠any volunteers on who wants to become heir?â Izanami: âWhat? Are you kidding? Why would anyone have children in the first place if they canât be Godly?! I will be the next heir!â Kumari: âNo way, not you. If you become heir this legacy will be filthy of dark blood!â Miyazu: âAnd if YOU become the next heir your children will spend their whole life figuring out who their father is out of your ten boyfriends.â Kumari: âI only have one boyfriend!!â Kamikaze: âYes and you only picked him because the most popular guy in school didnât want you.â Kumari: âShut up, Kami. Your boyfriend is a fairy.â Uzume: âGirls, be quiet! Now I want to hear everyoneâs opinion on this. Kagu, you start. What do you think about becoming heir?â
Kagutsuchi: âI think it would be great. I think I am the only one brave and daring enough to take on a responsibility like this.â
Izanami: âOh please, the first baby you make will set fire at birth!â Uzume: âShut up, Izanami! Miyazu, what about you?â
Miyazu: âI think that itâs time for our legacy to start acting like the important people we are and declare this town as the new Omikami kingdom. Of course, I would gladly be Moonlight Fallâs first Queen. I will even provide a white horse for my future prince if necessary.â
Inari: âIf I become heir, at least youâre sure that the next generation will have a good mother that actually knows how to feed her children proper food.â
Kumari: âThatâs great, but please try to remember that you donât accidentally eat your children in the process.â
Uzume: âThatâs enough, everyone. Why donât you all try to be a bit nicer towards each other? Your uncle and I were best friends in our younger years and we still are, actually. Anyways, itâs pretty clear to me that every single one of you is offering to become heirâŚâ
Izanami: âCan I just say one thing? I think I should become heir and I know you all say Iâm evil, but I also have great love and respect for the legacy and you can trust me for a full 100 percent that I will not be the downfall of this legacy if I become heir. I will make sure that the bloodline stays healthy and pure.â
Uzume: âThatâs great, Izanami, but if you happen to be the next heir, you have to promise me that you wonât become a thief like your great-aunt Akibimi. I do not want this legacy to go down the criminal path.â
Izanami: âPlease, I donât have those kind of small silly ambitions. Iâm planning to become the next president.â Miyazu: âYou canât be president when I am going to be the new queen!â Kumari: âIf any one of you is going to be the next leader of this town Iâm going to drown myself.â Kamikaze: âYouâre the Goddess of Water, you canât drown.â Uzume: âQUIET NOW! I think Iâve heard enough. Itâs time to make a choice. Your grandfather had some crazy method on choosing the new heir. Iâm not planning to follow that, but I will use it as inspiration. Itâs very simple, everyone write down their name and I will blindly pick one from this box.â
Not everyone was happy with Uzumeâs choice to leave up the new heir to chance, but no one complained out loud and everyone wrote down their name in silence. Though this time there would be no small pitch on the paper that would help the Reader to pick a new heir, I could still read all of their minds and see what they were thinking while writing down their names⌠Izanami: I will destroy fate if it tries to sabotage my plan on becoming a great Godly Empress⌠But of course even fate knows that I am the best choice.
Inari: I wonder whatâs for dinner tonightâŚ
Kumari: Maybe I should just try to call him⌠or maybe I should just stay with FloydâŚ. or maybe I should try to date that cute transfer studentâŚ
Kagutsuchi: The first thing I will do when I become heir is make sure that the living room has a fireplaceâŚ
Miyazu: âŚand a maid and a gardener and a butler and a stable boy and of course Aiko gets to stay and take care of the foodâŚ
Kamikaze: I know youâre reading everyoneâs mind and I just want to say that if I ever find out who you are I will find out your location and sue you for invading our privacy.
Uzume gathered all the papers and put them in a big black box. Without looking, she went through it with her hands and grabbed a paper. Uzume: âAnd the new heir isâŚâ

Review! Hemlock Grove: Part 2 Numinosum, Part 2
Time to dive back into that wacky Gothic adventure by Brian McGreevy called Hemlock Grove. There will be SPOILERS!
I decided to split Part 2 into two parts. This is Part 2 of Part 2 (pages 148-252). Part 1 of Part 2 here
Review Time!
So in my last review, Olivia passed the hell out once again. Norman comes and rescues her by promptly sticking his dick in her... God, I love this book! Anyways Roman drives Norman home and on the way there Norman sees a little boy with a push-up pop, just sliding it up and down and sadly I have to admit that that boy is me. Though Iâd usually get too nervous that the ice cream would fall out that Iâd knock it off. We get some male bonding time with Norman being enamored with Roman wanting to murder whoever got Letha pregnant. Cute.
Speaking of Letha sheâs hanging out with Roman (YAY!) and says that âAunt Olivia isnât one of [Normanâs] favorite subjects.â I WONDER WHY? But besides that little irony, we find out that JRâs suicide letter came a day after his suicide. I have to say that I still love Letha and Peterâs interactions in my notes at the end of this chapter all I wrote was Letha +Peter <3
The next chapter title is The Most Fun a Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off. Is that a Panic! At The Disco reference? Like that has to be. I see you McGreevy! Also I have to say that Part 2 has the most chapter titles that sound like 2005â˛s Billboards Top 100 and I am here for it! My inner emo is sooo excited.
The whole chapter though is Christina getting back into the ârealâ world by going on a date with the Tyler boy and the twins helping her. BTW the twins are fucking idiots, like they have their moments of not being dumb but UGH! Maybe they annoy me because I had like six of those girls I hung out with in school. Awww those treacherous memories. I will say though that those annoying girls at my school never had such good vocabulary as the twins do, so props to them?Â
I really relate to Christina though, like on a sad level. This girl is having a mental breakdown to envy every other mental breakdown, yet Iâm over here nodding along going: âMe. Me. Me. Fucking ME!â My poor girl Christina having PTSD on her date. (Side note; what the fuck is sweet boy breath???)
The other dude who had âSeen the dragonâ is dead so canât back up Mr. Pullmanâs story.
Roman and Peter go to the old steel factory where Peter becomes that uncle to Roman. You know the one thatâs only there because his sister promised him two six packs of his favorite beer and is just fucking done with these kids? That is the best way I can explain Peter and Roman at this time. While Peter is babysitting Roman they end up finding the other half of Lisa Willoughbyâs body. Roman wants to leave but the cops end up taking him downtown to the police department, leaving Peter with Romanâs car. I always love when Roman talks with the police, mainly because he knows he can say whatever he wants and not be killed by them, like imagine that. What a world.
We get an email from Shelley! Unfortunately, this is the saddest email we get. It starts with Shelley telling Norman she knows of the affair with Olivia. Which shit. Then she goes into this hyper-real fight that Roman, Olivia, and Shelley had over the fact that Shelley had the audacity to not only buy but WEAR earrings. How goddamn divine! I really got some Quasimodo vibes from this section when she went into wanting to be feminine and have feminine things but also when JR basically said she was a monster and should have been aborted. To his credit though JR did leave Roman everything in the will, which I guess is good? Better than Olivia having it?
In the next chapter, we learn that Francis Pullman is dead. Which means that there are no witnesses to the sleep study experiments or to Brooke Bluebellâs murder.
Then if you thought that fight with the Godfrey family was sad then get ready for Peter breaking up with Roman. Iâm not kidding. Peter breaks up their Scooby-Doo gang. Which I donât blame him, Romanâs a fucking creep who needs a world of help that I donât even all his money could buy, but still. That was a really awful breakup scene. Before leaving Roman says, âYou know if you fuck my cousin, Iâll kill you.â
Which, drum roll please!!! Letha ends up going back to Peterâs trailer, where she clearly wants the d, but Peter is having none of it. Like the boy is thinking about cats when heâs got smoking weirdly hot pregnant girl wanting to ride him till the sun comes up. Letha literally could have been wearing a shirt that said, âDUDE I WANT THE D.â And Peterâs dumb ass still wouldnât get it.
While that is going on, over at the Godfrey mansion Roman is explaining to us visually how much his mother has fucked him up by snorting coke, drinking, and cutting himself on the temple to put the blood on himself in the name of make-up. Thank you, Roman. Fortunately, Dr. Chasseur comes by to question Roman and her description/analogy of Roman is spot on.Â
âShe regarded the boy: a narcissistic, insecure, oversensitive, and under parented adolescent heir to the Fortune 500 company with a substance abuse problem and homoerotic tendencies.â Like thatâs all you need to know about Roman. Maybe add incest next to homoerotic tendencies and thatâs him.
We go back to Peterâs trailer and...
PETER FINALLY GETS IT!!! LETHA GET YOUR D, BABY GIRL! THANK YOU, DEAR GOD!
Unfortunately, Roman decided to ruin my moment of rejoicing by watching them. FUCKING ROMAN! If thatâs not enough the vile-being that is Roman decides to go to this girl from his class Ashley's house and be a fucking gnome on her lawn??? I wish that was all he did, but no. They start to have sex but then Ashley wants to back out and Romanâs not here for your consensual sex, thank you very much. And honestly I thought this scene was something the TV show made up, but itâs not. All I can say though is 1) the scene was written very, very well and Iâm glad that McGreevy chose to tell it from Ashleyâs POV; all her thoughts were very realistic so once again kudos to McGreevy. 2) Roman is shown as being an ugly person and even knows it. Though that doesnât excuse any of his actions what-so-ever.
We move on to the next chapter where Roman visits Dr. Pryce and the Godfrey Institute, snorting waaaaaayyyy more coke than anyone should and promptly overdoses. Good one Roman. Good one. Also Roman is such the scorned boyfriend after a breakup like good GOD.
The next part of was of JRâs suicide letter to Norman which answered/confirmed a few things but was still cryptic as hell. We have another Norman conversation with Christina where she still very well believes that Peter is the killer. In another section, we learn that Christina is dreaming of Mr. Pullman. On top of that we have Letha finding out about Letha and Peter making me live to have a relationship which prompts Letha to invite Peter over for dinner but not before we learn that Romanâs in a coma, I know itâs really serious.
(Why does this book give me so many Smith vibes?)
So Peterâs reluctant to go to dinner because he doesnât really do the whole boyfriend thing which ironically works out because Norman approves of him. Like most people would kill for their SOâs parents to even acknowledge their existence and Peter just shows up and everyone loves him. (Except Marie, but never mind about her, sheâs got the Godfrey fortunes to take care of!)
While Norman approves of Peter the dickweeds at school donât and Alex fucking Finster and his crew start to beat up on him. The worst thing about this scene is not that they're just trying to edge Peter on to fight them because their trying to win whos-the-worst-in-Pennsylvania award but that Alexâs friend Tom made the same joke I did about Roman :( What does that say about me? Or is McGreevy just wanting to throw that little music nod in like he did with P!ATD. Hmmmmmmm.
This fight scene actually made me cringe awfully and get so mad at Alex and co. But THANK GOD LETHA CAME TO HIS RESCUE! AND YOU SAID YOU DIDNâT WANT A GIRLFRIEND PETER. After they get Peter some steak to slap on his face and some pot to take away the pain Olivia decides to host a Godfrey slumber party back at her house! Which goes really terribly when Peter doesnât tell Letha that heâs a werewolf but tells her that heâs going to kill the thing killing the other girls and then tells her to stay inside.  To convince her that she should he throws a lamp and calls Letha a âstupid little bitch.â (Good one.) To Peterâs credit, he feels really bad about this and thinks everything is a âgiant big black hole of suck.â Which yeah, is an understatement.
Part 2 ends with Roman waking up. DUHN DUHN DUHN!!!
So thatâs the end of my Part 2 of Part  2 of Hemlock Grove!
Iâm almost done with this book, which is making me a little sad. This world McGreevyâs created is so real and the characters are so interesting. Though Iâm really hyped for Part 3 and I canât wait to dive into that, but before I do I gotta give a shout-out to the man who wrote Hemlock Grove; Brian McGreevy.
McGreevy is making me look at my books and poems and be like âLook at this fine garbage I made.â Heâs such a good writer! I know I make fun of a lot of things in the reviews, but thatâs always about the characters being the characters. (or if I see a P!ATD reference the inner emo in me is gonna call you out. I mean how canât I?) But my God the guy can write all these, for the most part really shitty people, such diverse and interesting characters and he does it so well! I salute you McGreevy! I gotta say youâve inspired me to go over all my work again and not be afraid to make my characters ugly.
BONUS! Favorite Quotes!Â
âWell that sounds goddamn divine.â- Olivia being Olivia
âKiss my black ass.â - Roman, the whitest white dude to white
âThat doesnât mean blow him a fucking kiss.â- Peter being that uncle to Roman.
âEvery cat is a womanâ- Peter before getting laid.
Stay tuned for my Part 4 of this Review!
