#all /lh and in good fun ;)#i wondered if one of the hermit archives folks would see this discussion... lol#alternative interpretations make the fandom go round!#...but I'm not budging on this one lol#eye-aligned grian requires him to still be *watcher* aligned#and there are very few fanon interpretations that go there#he's almost universally antagonistic towards the watchers#(who -- to be fair -- very much ARE eye-aligned. like. they're the same thing)#so it doesn't vibe with me that he'd be on the same side as them#even unwillingly -- and as far as I understand TMA you can't really have a completely unwilling avatar#either they have to be willing in some way or they have to be basically unmade and recreated in the Entity's image#...which. to be fair. would make for a VERY angsty and interesting AU for grian and the watchers#i just don't see it fitting with 'normal'/canon stuff. you'd have to build an entire au around it#redwinteranswers
