“raven’s bandit camp is where yang and weiss realised they were in love for the first time” is a great concept that should be talked about more.
#rwby#like yang's familial relationships are so important to her (see : ruby/qrow/tai/summer/raven)#but when she met weiss something sparked and she was like; oh! this girl that understands me on a level that my family doesn't!!#and in a similar (but opposite - because opposites attract /eyebrow wiggle) weiss' family (minus winter) feels cold and distanced from her#and when weiss and yang met there was the banter and friendship that weiss Needed!!#it took her a while to warm up to ruby because here she was thinking she'd lead a team and then ruby came along and she felt challenged >#by this younger / more immature girl until she had some sense talked into her#and with blake she had racism/privilege to unlearn#because of her past with the white fang and her less than perfect family#but yang is the perfect balance between what weiss wants and what she needed to learn#t h e m a t i c#man. i have so many thoughts on them and how obvious it is that they're Soulmates through and through#rambling in the tags is fun#weiss schnee#yang xiao long#freezerburn#...there were quote marks around 'immature' but tumblr doesn't like that tf#otp: and i know that when i'm with you i'm at home#otp: i had you through it all
