I don't think she intended to endorse the second plan, and that her argument was more "If you really wanted to free monsterkind you wouldn't have sat on your throne and waited for more humans to fall down when you could have used a human soul, crossed the barrier, and killed six more." I think this is why she considers him a coward, because he didn't even try the most effective strategy, making it clear he doesn't want to free monsterkind and is letting them keep their hope through a lie he told them. That lie was that he would free monsterkind with seven souls and eradicate humanity.

Asgore also makes it clear he doesn't want to live up to his promise as he will literally kill himself in front of you if Flowey doesn't kill him so you can leave the underground. I think what Toriel wants him to do is to be honest with his people and admit that he never wanted to eradicate humanity or free monsters from the underground, that would take real courage.

I feel like Undertale x Danny Phantom would be a bit of a relief for the young halfa. I’d really like to see him being scared of them not because they’re different, but because they’re just as intelligent and curious as humans. As ghost hunters.

But then he gets some sort of confirmation that they really aren’t going to do anything bad. Some doctors still want to run tests, but it’s just to be sure if he’s really okay. And he just feels free around them, around every monster. They’re more non-human than he is, he can be as abnormal as he wants with no worries!

The scariest part was dealing with Sans because he was so unsettled by Danny falling instead of Frisk, but Danny’s contacting Clockwork to look into it. For a while, Sans’ distrust was the main reason why Danny avoided Snowdin, but soon after they had that talk, our pun-loving skeleton started giving him a chance and Danny started trusting him as well.

I can imagine him having a pretty serious talk with Asgore and saying that he doesn’t think humanity is ready for monsters. They’re obviously ready for the surface, and the surface is waiting, but Danny’s experience has left him with a distrust with his own government. This would stir up some of the Underground if it got out.

Oh, and you best believe people want to hear Danny talk about outer space! It starts at Grillby’s, just Danny telling Sans about the stars and then getting excited talking about it, which basically leads to this—

Danny: I really don’t think people realize just how big the whole universe is. I mean, the term “light year” exists for a reason! To measure the distance it takes for the speed of light to travel in an entire year! Speaking of years, isn’t it funny how—! Sorry, I got excited.

Sans: Don’t apologize for that, kid. Besides, I think your audience wants to hear more.

Danny: My audience?

Also Toriel. I feel like she’d be absolutely horrified by the fact that Danny learned how to stitch his own wounds with his friends because it implies that his parents, his mother, wasn’t there to help.

Bonus; If Danielle is there, I think it’d be an interesting confrontation between Danny and literally anyone because he puts himself between Danielle and pretty much everyone. I think Papyrus would be all “Look, Sans! They’re like us, siblings!”

For your Lucky Clover AU:

How is Clover's and Flowey's relationship? Because at the end of the True Pacifist ending Clover never really finds out the Flowey's been playing him, I imagine at the beginning(?) of your AU Clover and Flowey were friends (as one-sided as it was considering Flowey's condition).

Is Flowey bitter that Clover didn't follow through with the plans to storm Asgore and take the human souls? Or is he still keeping up appearances and staying on Clover's good side?

I imagine Flowey would be at least entertained by the prospect of a human hiding away in the underground like an escaped convict or something.

Flowey and Clover certainly have a relationship! It's hard to tell if it's a friendship or just a mutual yet uneasy partnership. Both of them feel a bit differently about it.

Flowey hangs around, occasionally checking in on Clover. He never reveals the full extent of his plans, nor how he truly feels about the fact that Clover ditched the plans to obtain the human souls and chose instead to live in the Underground. Flowey is bitter over this fact, but more than that, he's fascinated by this outcome that's never happened in another timeline. In order to observe what happens, he keeps up a good and friendly appearance towards Clover.

Clover, on the other hand, is a little unsure about Flowey as the years progress. They genuinely considered him a friend when they were younger, but as they aged, they began to feel a bit suspicious and offput by Flowey's demeanor. Even if they can't gleam what his plans are, they get the sense that there's more going on than what Flowey tells them. Especially when he drags them around the Underground for various tasks that he refuses to elaborate on. That's just what friends do for each other, he says!

Overall, while their relationship is becoming a lot more strained as Clover ages, they still often work together - although Flowey makes it a point to not appear in front of anyone else besides Clover. Not even Clover's family knows about their secret flower friend.

I was saving this ask to make a little comic of how that last chapter felt but- lets say it didn't turn out how i wanted. Instead, i just dug out some of my old Maid-chan drawings and stared at them blankly for the next days.

I'm still particularly fixed on this one little page:

Mister Green was my absolute favorite and the only light i saw at the end of her tunnel. He was so kind and sweet, and pretty much the only one that treated her like a person (besides Yellow of course). When i first read this fic so many years ago i didn't trully realized the dark tone of this story but i still chose the only "healthy" option. I wanted MC to be happy and free, and oh how i wanted him to give her that. I held those drawings of him for years imagining a chapter where they would encounter again and that would drive her to a better ending (either skeletons overcoming their issues and treating her with respect or him taking her away).

But then this final chapter appeared and it was... a thing.

(Kinda spoilers for the babes that haven't read it)

First of all, I FINALLY GOT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED AFTER BEACH CHAPTERS OMG I NEEDED THAT

Second of all, it didn't look good at all and it was getting worse as I read. But then good because it was a week alone for her to rest and Sans was eating with her?? But also that whole scene reminded me how bad her situation really was so it actually wasn't good at all.

And then the scene that broke me.

I was aware that I wanted her to flee before, but I never thought she could.

It was oddly satisfying, if not a bit anxiety inducing because of the thought that they would caught her eventually. As always.

But then Asgore, and Orange. And nothing...

I got mad that he found her. Which was a weird feeling since I remember liking him a lot. It felt to me like he ruined her good enough ending. But despite that, it makes sense it was him so I don't complain.

What crushed me though, wasn't that she couldn't say goodbye or that Sans got tired of trying to get her back. It was the fact the Gs didn't even try looking for her. They didn't even got mentioned. What happened there, I wonder. Didn't they like her? Care for her? Mister Green wrote her letters, of course he liked her. But then why...?

Suddenly he looked like a fairytale.

The ending was great, finally lending her the ability to choose. It made absolutely everything worth it and the way it was written made me feel like I do have a say in the matter. And for the first time, i didn't choose the skeletons.

I realized she could find her happy ending alone.

Queen Veronica the Fifth (V)! The Late Queen of Venostar, and Toxecia's mother. Vivi for short because 'Veronica V'.

I've been meaning to put her ref together for a while. Have a bonus Riki Fuhrmann style of her too (: Plus child Toxecia.

A rather strict Queen, but she cared for her people and her family, and was overall cherished in the kingdom. She's the Fifth Veronica in a massive family tree of royal spiders. She's a mix of bossy and nice, a caring person hidden behind a status to uphold. She has a rather deep, sultry voice.

She took her role very seriously as Queen, the result of generations of Queens passing their hopes and dreams onto their children. Why is that, you might ask? It's because their species have very short lifespans... barely able to live longer than 40 years. A bad gene or something, that kinda just... kills them after a certain amount of time. Venostar scientists have been studying how to rid this gene for almost 100 years to allow a Queen to live a fully prosperous life.

Her husband (To be named + designed) was the perfect balance she needed in her life. Fun, full of energy, silly and hopelessly romantic. He's basically like Asgore without the murdering kids part lmao. With him, Veronica almost seems like a different person.

Together they have Toxecia, their darling little daughter. Sadly Veronica and Tox don't get along very well for the majority of their life, and Tox finds more comfort with her father. He taught her how to use a sword during their time together.

As a child, Tox develops an over-productive poison gland. It first occurs during a speech Veronica is giving to the kingdom. That day would send the family into a depressive spiral.

Most of the kingdom views Toxecia as a freak, a cursed child. She can't leave the castle without leaving a trail of paralyzing poison around the town. Eventually Veronica prevents her from leaving the castle unattended. Tox would only go into town with her father from there on out... until the day that he passes away, when Tox was a young teen.

Veronica and Tox both suffer from this loss. Veronica missing that positive, lighthearted personality that helped her for so long, and Tox losing a lot of confidence. Tox inherits her dads Sword (The one Veronica is holding in the 2nd pic)

Veronica would try to find a new love, but struggled to do so. She became more flirty in this time, and also more depressed. She had gotten close to another female spider at least, but that was a secret kept to them alone 🤫

Sadly, as her time was coming, she prepared Toxecia to inherit the throne, and Veronica would pass away when Tox was barely 18.

She remains buried beside her husband. Tox visits their grave weekly, even if they didn't get along, she misses them both... the royal advisor takes her parents place now.

Alone and young, Toxecia goes on to rule a kingdom that rejects her.

I really hope Deltarune treats Asgore better than Undertale did. I really don't like what they do to him at the start of the pacifist fight (turning him into a "that's your ex?" Joke). I know it was just silly fun and all, but it felt really diminishing of his character, who is one of the deepest characters of the game. I don't like how he turned more "shallow" (I use that word loosely). I wish we had a small route with him, maybe before crossing the barrier when it was all fun and good.

Not saying Deltarune's depiction of Asgore is shallow, but considering the game is unfinished we hardly see much of him besides "sad divorce man". But I really hope they go in a reverse undertale direction, where he becomes a deeper and more respected character the more the game progresses. Maybe he will have a heart to heart moment with Toriel, where she will be less hostile, they can remember their good times with their families and laugh at it, they woudn't get together as a couple, but at least they'd be on better terms.

I really do hope Toriel and Asgore get a more friendly ending seeing as there is no big reason (until now) for Toriel to despise Asgore as she had in undertale.

I just want my big man to be treated with respect.

Undertale Playing On A Minecraft Server!

This is Post-Pacifist, by the way.

Frisk:

Probably the one who created the server, let's be real. They're also the one who introduced the monsters to Minecraft in the first place.

They sometimes like to play in creative mode, but I bet they're willing to take on some of the hardest Minecraft challenges for kicks. Sometimes to the detriment of others on the server.

They're likely to play along when Alphys wants to roleplay. A well-behaved child.

Spends time with everyone as equally as possible! They love everyone on the server, so of course they would wanna do that!

Shows everyone the ropes and gives them tips. They help out Asgore the most.

Sometimes they like to play survival properly with Papyrus and Undyne, sometimes they like to troll them with Sans. They're kind of a wild card when it comes to that.

Since they're the host, they're always on the server when it's running.

Toriel:

She doesn't play on the server that much - she's often too busy with grading homework and taking care of the school. But when she does join, it's a nice treat.

Because she doesn't play as often, she's further behind than most of the other players on the server. Luckily, Frisk and Papyrus are kind enough to supply her with materials and food.

I'm sure she would love to build a pretty cottage in a forest biome, surrounded by a nice farm and do her own thing.

Sticks by either Frisk or Sans. Often tries to reign them in when they're taking their pranks too far. Sometimes she even distracts Sans while Papyrus and Undyne are doing something important. She's an unsung hero in that regard.

Although, on occasion, she might be prone to a little bit of pranking herself... Mostly on Sans, because he needs a taste of his own medicine.

Sans:

TROLL.

Trolly troll troll trolly troll trolly troll troll!

No, but seriously, this guy is a menace! He steals important materials, messes up Papyrus' organised chests, knocks players off of cliffs, you name it, he's gonna do it.

Well... apart from griefing. Sans wouldn't go that far. He's not mean-spirited.

He also uses cheats. Like, all the time. It's a miracle he hasn't been kicked off the server yet. Probably because Frisk is too nice to kick him and besides, he's one of their best friends!

Obviously targets Undyne and Papyrus the most, but sometimes he actually stops trolling and helps them out.

Possibly has the dumbest skin on the server, let's be real.

He likes it when someone gets back at him! He finds it very humerus!

If someone genuinely gets upset at him, though, Sans will back down. As stated earlier, he's not mean-spirited.

Plays very often, in fact, he's almost always there when the group plays! What can I say? He just likes spending time with his friends.

Papyrus:

Absolutely adores playing Minecraft, and would pester Frisk (kindly) to start up the server so he can play.

He likes to set himself challenges so he would never get bored. He'll defeat all the bosses, then make a challenge to defeat them again and again... IN THE SAME AREA.

Will explore every inch of the server and build landmarks (statues of himself, farms, buildings etc) to keep track of where he's been.

Likes to keep all his chests organised and tidy, and fumes when someone (cough cough Sans cough cough) messes them up.

Rages easily, especially when Sans is around. It takes a lot for him to rage quit, though.

I don't know why, but something tells me Papyrus would be good at redstone. He could use it to make cool Minecraft puzzles! And then test them with his friends! Isn't that cute?

He likes to play along with Alphys' roleplays when Undyne isn't around. He's sweet like that.

Would go out of his way to ration every resource equally and keep some extra for Toriel. Iron, food, heck, even diamonds and netherite. He's very generous.

How often does he play? Pretty often, actually! He and Sans are a bit of a package deal, so when one shows up, the other inevitably will. I forgot to mention that before... Well, unless he's at work. Papyrus is no slacker.

Undyne:

Loves ALL challenges! She's in it for the thrills and would go for every boss and achievement.

She's a pretty intense player. She rages easily and is very reckless, which leads to a lot of deaths and a lot of lost resources. Chill, Undyne.

She doesn't really spend a lot of time building things, so she just leaves the building to Papyrus and Alphys. Thanks to them, she no longer lives in a dirt hole!

Sometimes she will rage quit, only to come back 2 minutes later. It happens so often that everyone is used to it now. "Oh, Undyne quit? Maybe this time she'll- Oh, look, she's back again."

She'll roleplay with Alphys, especially cool anime battles and stuff like that. She has a bit of a guilty pleasure for this. And besides, who could say no to Alphys?

Often sticks by Papyrus since the two are best buds. Though she's just as likely to go adventuring on her own.

She doesn't play as often as Frisk and the brothers, but she's very frequent and plays like 80% of the time... ish? When possible, of course. She's busy too, you know!

Alphys:

She's the type who loves to roleplay. She even builds settings for them.

Heavily inspired by anime. She actually likes to be in Creative Mode most of the time for two reasons. 1. So she can get all the resources she needs to build her humble town. 2. Because she doesn't like the creepy mobs coming out at night and attacking her.

She hates creepers and phantoms with a passion. Creepers destroyed her builds more than once and jumpscare her easily, and she's the one the others have to coax into bed because she insists on building and gathering materials all night, so phantoms are definitely gonna spawn and annoy her.

Building and roleplaying isn't all she does. Like Papyrus, I'd imagine Alphys would pick up on redstone very easily. She's also the one who creates the best material farms so she can gather resources quickly.

Occasionally, she will join Undyne and Papyrus on their challenges.

Avoids Sans most of the time... For obvious reasons. The two definitely still talk to each other, though. No hard feelings.

She doesn't play too often, but she has a lot more free time than Undyne does now that she's on the surface. And let's be honest, she's kind of a shut in already. She'll only join the server when she's up for it, as in, mentally.

Asgore:

Oh, sweet sweet Asgore.

The poor soul, he fumbles most of the time and doesn't know how to play. He dies the most often, but the sweetie is a good sport about it.

Thanks to Frisk, he gets the hang of the basics, but there's still a lot he doesn't know. And to be honest, he doesn't have a lot of time to get to know them, since I imagine he would be busy with other important things.

Will gladly roleplay with Alphys. He doesn't usually take part in the adventures. Not unless someone drags him into it.

He's a pushover and just follows everyone else.

Doesn't play much at all. Like Toriel, it's only on rare occasions, but when he does play, it's a treat.

Other characters:

Flowey - Used to play. Got banned because he was a lot like Sans, just 100X worse.

Monster Kid - They love playing Minecraft, and they like the server too! However, they also have a server of their own, so they just play on that most of the time. They love playing with Frisk and Papyrus, though!

Mettaton - Doesn't play at all. Sorry, darling! He's busy travelling the world and doing tours! He's got fans to please!

Napstablook - Also busy supporting Mettaton with his tours, so they don't play at all. However, they have played ONCE and never again. They didn't know how to play, and just gave up after one little mistake in typical Napstablook fashion. Bless their soul.

Sorry it took me a while to respond, but I actually wanted to try and design Hopper, so here's a look at them:

Humans are not my strong suit, but I'm satisfied with how they came out!

The glitching gets more or less intense depending on how much determination they've managed to accumulate. If the determination gets too low, they become translucent and lose their corporeality (is that what it's called?).

As for other details on the AU:

Gaster is the director. He's the boss here, meaning he chooses the play they're gonna perform, assigns the roles, and directs all the behind the scenes stuff too. He does not act because he feels that his appearance is too unsettling for people (he's just very insecure).

Asgore only looks behind the scenes. He works on the lights, the costumes, the props, and the scenography. He has too much stage fright for acting, but he likes keeping busy, so the behind the scenes stuff is perfect for him.

Killer is an actor, but he also helps with the costumes because he discovered when giving it a try randomly one day that he actually quite enjoys the process.

Hopper also takes part in the acting, but also helps with the lights and whatever technology there is. They're an iPad kid, they're good with that stuff.

Mettaton of course is the star of the show. He always tries to get the main roles (all of them. He'd play both Romeo and Juliet if given the chance basically). He also always insists that they should try doing a musical because he's a big fan of those, but so far he's never had any luck

Undyne loves acting but she's unfortunately really not good at it. She's got so much passion though that Gaster always gives her a role. Though, for the most part, she tends to take care of dance choreographies and whatever other physically demanding stunts she manages to convince the others to put in.

Also, I mentioned it before, but all of them had some troubled pasts.

I mentioned that Hopper was locked in a never-ending fight with the Player. However, with the cast of their world being unaware of the Player's existence, they were just left with the feeling of unease around Hopper given by the fact that they'd been possessing them. After getting rid of the Player, Hopper couldn't handle the constant suspicion and distrust from everyone else, so they tried to erase themselves... Thankfully, Core found them in time and offered them an out.

Asgore is from a classic AU and he's still dealing with the grief of losing his kids, his wife, and having to kill all those children. He's especially awkward around Color because he can see the human souls and the guilt that resurfaces paralyzes him every time.

Undyne comes from a Dancetale AU. Unfortunately, she was always just as aggressive as a classic Undyne which ended up making her rather unpopular in her world. Especially since she was just as rough with Frisk as she's always been and, well, with Frisk being the savior of monsterkind that was... quite something. That said, she doesn't particularly care about what people think. She's got a girlfriend and a best friend in her Papyrus and those are all the people that matter to her.

Mettaton is from an Underfell AU. He was built exclusively as a murder robot and he can't fight to save his life. It goes without saying that he was considered a failed experiment and he was sent to be dismantled. He managed to talk his way out of the execution but only just barely, though that did mean that he wasn't front and center when the human came in, so he managed to survive their rampage. All the survivors were led out by Core, but Mettaton avoids them all as much as he can. He does, however, get along with the Flowey from his world who also did manage to survive.

Gaster is just a cryptid ngl. My guy is supposed to be scattered across time and space but he said 'no' to that. Nobody is quite sure what his deal is. He's there though. And he's got a passion for theatrics and literature. He sometimes mentions things like "I'm banned from most AUs" or "I lost my teaching license due to The Incident™". He's such a weirdo, but it's hard not to get along with him.

The stars shimmer softly above, casting a gentle glow over the empty picnic spot. The last of the laughter had faded, and the quiet hum of the night settled around you.

The day had been loud—filled with chatter and cheerful chaos. Papyrus and Undyne’s friendly bickering echoed over the hill as they teased each other about their sparring match, Alphys trying (and only half-succeeding) to wrangle Frisk into helping with an experiment that’d apparently gone slightly awry, Toriel chiding Asgore over a mix-up with the picnic basket.

But they've all gone home, leaving you with only the soft sounds of the night and the gentle presence of Sans beside you.

He leans back on the blanket, hands tucked behind his head, staring up at the stars with that familiar, lazy grin of his. “gotta hand it to ya, sunshine. pretty solid idea for a get-together. beats grillbz any day.”

You laugh, nudging him lightly. “Oh, come on, nothing beats Grillby’s in your book.”

“eh, fair point. still, wouldn’t mind doin’ this again. maybe next time, i’ll even bring my… stellar humor.”

You snort, rolling your eyes. “Oh, no. Please spare me the space puns, Sans. I don’t think I can take any more.”

“oh, c’mon, ya gotta admit, they're outta this world.”

You groan, hiding a grin. “Alright, I right walked into that one.”

“wishes, huh?” he echoes, his gaze staying fixed on the stars.

Sans' smile softens, and for a fleeting moment, something deeper lingers in his gaze. "yeah… yeah, we did. used to make ‘em all the time."

He pauses for a few seconds, choosing his next words carefully. "wishin' and waitin'… that was kinda all we had, y'know? we'd look up at the crystals in Waterfall, just hopin' someone out there might actually hear us."
