It was easy to tell when Sammy had a strong memory, strong enough for him to talk about the past or clearly be lost in it. The young boy had been channel flipping when he came across a rather gruesome movie murder scene of a dead body. A quick hit of the TV's power button as his breathing gets funny, his shoulders shrink, and his eyes look in another place.  It’s a minute before he speaks, and he knows Mike is in the living room doorway.

“That...that n-n-night whe-en you and your fr-friends locked me in-....th-there was....h-h-hair...there sh-shouldn’t have been hair in Fr-Fredbear but th-there was-”

A quiver of his lip and quick to dry his eyes on his arm. No, no he’s going to be brave this time while there’s enough of himself to be brave.

“ When un-uncle W-Will found me l-locked in there...h-he...he said if I told anyone what I saw in Fredb-bear, that what happened to Ch-Ch-Charlie would happen to you or m-momma.”
