if steven universe got picked up again or was still going it would be So cool if there was an ep abt like, idk one of the little homeworld gems or smth deciding maybe they kinda like male pronouns and are they even allowed to do that or are they just messed up

#ik becsug has said there ARE male gems but that's not rly the same as having a gem actively decide they prefer different pronouns #and dont get me wrong i still adore the queer rep already in the show i just feel that the 'gems are agender but use female pronouns' thing-#-wasn't even ever mentioned or explored in the show itself we only even know abt the agender thing bc bec said so #like i 100% guarantee every single child that watched the show just saw all the gems as girls n that's it #so is it really rep in a children's cartoon if that's the case
