I just got the best Christmas present and it's not even Christmas yet
#a shut up#this probably has a bunch of out of date signs but this is still so cool to me!!#it from 1987 so. yea its not gonna be up to date but still!!! the historical aspect of it makes it cool!!!#oh i HAVE to show this to my asl teacher after break#the best gift: knowledge. literally#knowledge of language to be precise#the desire to rapidly flip through this like a man starved is high but i don't want to in case i learn a sign incorrectly#at least my family is supportive of me learning sign. you know there's people out there that would be like#''why learn sign? your not gonna need it''#because i want to be able to talk to people. because i think asl. or whatever sign language it is for your country is.#should be mandatory to learn for everyone. we shouldn't have to need interpreters just so a portion of the#-population go to the doctors!!! half the time interpreters are aren't offered anyways!!!!!!!!
