⍤ : What does your muse’s voice sound like? Is it light? High pitched? Scratchy? Deep?

Xalroc’s voice is deep and slightly hoarse, like a man who has gone through a rough day at work. ^^; While he has quite the energy to spare, he sounds like he’s tired most of the time. His pitch is deeper than your average male, and at first sound, one would think his voice doesn’t match how he looks like.

🏨  : How well does your muse sleep?

It depends. He can sleep as soundly as a calmed down baby when he’s spent his strength, but he can go for nights without sleep. When he does sleep, every once in a while he wakes up all of a sudden, woken up by nightmares of his city burning. He has since learned to live with it when it does happen.

☆ : Of the sun, stars, and the moon, which is your muse’s favorite?

While he appreciates what the sun does in keeping most of his quarry at bay, he admires a starry night sky, comparing them to the prettiest gems he had ever seen. He also uses them as a guide to navigating in the dark of night.

❀ : What is your muse’s opinion about flower crowns?

He wouldn’t particularly mind it much, but he’d want to get his beloved one. :P As for wearing them, if it didn’t come from his significant other, then he’d probably just give it to someone else who fits wearing them.^^;

Nose: “You’re so cute.”

As the two were drinking their afternoon tea (it had become a sort of tradition at this point), Xalroc had not noticed a bit of froth touching his nose after he had finished his sip. Lowering his mug, he raised a brow at the Kitt’s giggling countenance as she immediately reached out with her gloved hand and wiped it off. Yet her thumb remained upon it while gazing at him with her emerald orbs. Her giggle dimmed to a serene smile, prompting the man in gray to look away for a second and bite the bottom of his lip. His face flushed red as he tipped his head at her, and admitted that nobody called him that for the longest time.

Over the heart: “I love you.”

The flush underneath her fur wasn’t lost on him this time, being so close to her face to face. He smiled gently at her, grinning serenely as she squeezed his hand before he too was taken by surprise. As he savored the moment with Kitt, he felt a slight weight press onto his chest as well, to which the man immediately flushed in turn, eyes going wide. His pale skin turned vibrant pink as she literally gave his life color. After taking all of this in, his eyes squinted and a single tear welled at the corner of his eye as pulled her into a solemn embrace, wrapping his arms around her waist and resting his head on her shoulder.

Chin: Beauty/attractiveness

After having poured her sentiments to him over another attempt by ruffians and crooks at capturing her, the man in gray scooted closer to her and offered her a hug of comfort. Truly, hers and his life was never going to be easy, but at the very least they empathized with each other with their society not being able to fully accept them. Hugging her tight, he then reminded her of who she really was, as he slowly, solemnly lifted her fallen countenance by her chin with his fingers. As silver locked with emerald, he then rested his forehead against hers, smiling reassuringly at her.

Wrist: Fear of losing you

As they enjoyed each other’s company, Kitt and Xalroc found themselves meeting more often at either of the pair’s apartment. This time, it was the man who visited Kitt. It was deep into the night when they both were enjoying their midnight tea, and after quite the length of time spent in quality time with each other, it was time for Xalroc to go back. As he turned to leave, however, Kitt suddenly held his wrist. How could he go when she was so sincere? He chuckled softly and held her tightly in his arms, telling her gently that he’d spend the night at her place.

1. What inspired you to make/pick up this character? 

(( I was so into Kingdom Hearts 2 back then that I made an Organization XIII nobody OC self-insert with the power of metal manipulation. Why metal? Because it seemed like one of the better concepts at the time since each member had a unique element they wield, e.g. Axel had fire, Zexion was illusion, which would be the basis for my OC’s singular element abilities. )) 2. What is your favorite ship (be it romantic or otherwise) with your character?  (( Definitely him and his wife, Daixen. They’re kind of a power couple, being both Source Users. His wife has the element of light, and she’s actually stronger than him. ))

3. Are you anything like your muse?

(( I’m not sure, apart from the similarities in appearance and same level of seriousness, probably not. He’s more active, fitter, and definitely more attractive than I am. XD ))

4. What’s your favorite thing about your muse? 

(( I think the way his eyes glow silver whenever he draws intensely upon his powers. ))

5. What’s one thing you wish you could change about them? 

(( He doesn’t really use contractions, if anybody has noticed. I’d want to change them, but that’s just how he is. :P ))

6. Do you think you would get along if you met in person?

(( Yes, I don’t see why not. He’s an amiable guy as far as I’m concerned. ))

7. Do you ever wish you could be your muse

(( Before, when I was around 10th grade, sure. Now I don’t, in my age. ))

8. What is your favorite random headcanon?  

(( The fact that he has quite the penchant for hot chocolate. He is quite fond of them more than he cares to admit. XD )) 

9. Do you think your muse is attractive? 

(( He’s supposed to look like my own ideal form albeit with mystical properties like eyes, so sure, I guess he is. It’s just there are a lot of other characters more attractive than him. )) 

10. How long have you played this muse? 

(( I’ve only started playing him online when I was 18, but I’ve had him already when I was still 16, ergo, around 12 or 14 years. ))

“What is not to like? Sure, he is amiable enough as well.”

“The fact that he has had me since he was sixteen. He never considered discarding me like a phase.”

“In my opinion, he is quite easily distracted. Definitely, a terrible trait to have as a warrior.”

“I have been told that Flip’s Ward is actually his other muse. Which is perfect – I knew myself and the kid share some sort of bond. I am glad to realize this is not a mere hunch.”

15. Do you think you would get along if you met in person? 

“Quite, but I should suggest for him to run away when trouble comes. He does not  belong on a battlefield.”

16. What’s one thing mun does that you’re grateful for? 

“While he is not perfect, I appreciate that the only thing about me that he lacks is an actual short story about my, should I say biography? Yes, that might be the right word. Why he has even chosen me a theme song. I am definitely amused and pleased with this, even if I do not show it often.”

17. What is one thing you wish mun would let you do? 

“I trust him well enough to write me as I am supposed to be his ideal, heroic half. Yet I know he has already distinguished myself quite enough from his own.”

18. Do you think mun is a talented writer?

“Considering he has had no formal training, then he is alright to me. Many people seem to think he writes well, so I shall take their word for it, too.”

19. Do you have any suggestions for mun?

“You definitely need to have more discipline in your system.”

20. Would you ever trade places with the mun?

“I would never dream of it, and I know he feels the same way. I would not want him to experience the life I have. Few and far between are those who work to keep the peace.”

(( I once considered an evil version of my muse, wherein he realizes that humans weren’t any different than monsters as he tried wrestling with the truth. He’s defended humanity’s cause ever since demons razed and destroyed his home, but unintentionally causing a disaster that killed monsters and innocent humans alike after being manipulated by ambitious men caused him to snap and lash out at humanity in general, resulting in him as a scourge instead of a guardian of humanity.

The longer I thought about it, the more I realized it’s just like Sensui’s fall in Yu Yu Hakusho after watching the black chapter. :P ))

(( Aside from smut (which I would most likely never write), I don’t think I really have anything particular scenes that’s difficult for me to? As far as I’ve experienced, that is. If there had to be one it would probably be the time when I wrote an ending for one of my character’s story arc; it ended up being a real challenge since I wanted to flesh it out. Also, since my character is basically a straight arrow, comedic scenes are a challenge too, although I’m willing to try. Also, repeated angst. I’m fine with angst threads but it gets sort of draining when it’s done consecutively. ))

✯ :  A headcanon someone else has inspired you to adopt?

(( I have several of them on my other blog @markiebutterhands since he’s a flexible character, but for this guy, it’d probably be the fruits and veggies thing. Some of the world’s fruits are non-existent in Gaia, namely watermelons and onions although they do have an equivalent in his home plane. (You know what I’m talking about XD) ))

(( Any roleplay threads I have currently, I treasure. All my threads with @ask-flip-frost are a blast and are top tier :D There’s also my threads with @sphinxsmuses where I get to play two other versions of my muse (Kingdom Hearts and My Hero Acadamia verses) and they’re really going well. Also my quality thread with @ensxrcelled, where my OC plays a knight to a vampire princess (eyyy friendo~) ))

1. Xalroc is my most developed OC. I had him since I was sixteen.

2. Mun lives in the Philippines, so chances are, most muns are active while I’m asleep. :P

3. I’ve planned out Xalroc’s story from beginning to end, but couldn’t be bothered writing about it, ^^; . That being said, I do enjoy using him in roleplays and other games involving role-playing.

Scizor for the Pokemon thing

“So this is what they call a ‘pokemon.’ Gotta say they’re monsters indeed.” says an exhausted, roughed up Xalroc as he stared down his opponent, the red-metal plated bug type, which was equally beaten up, its claws bloody but not of its own. The blood’s owner’s shoulder was pierced at the scapula, yet the nobody did not feel any malice at all if he was even able to.

The creature did not let up and was determined to defeat the man before it, readying another bullet-speed flurry of its blows.

“Playtime’s over, pal.” His eyes aglow in a bright silver light, the pokemon’s body seized up and then was unable to move, much to its chagrin. Its eyes widened as it struggled to break free of Xalroc’s metal kinesis.

“I heard this would be able to subdue it. Let’s see if it works…” procuring a red and white-colored ball from his pocket, he pressed the round button at its front as instructed and threw it directly onto the creature’s head with a metallic clang. All of a sudden, it was enveloped by a bright red light and was seemingly consumed by it, disintegrating and then being quickly sucked inside the ball, which Xalroc surmised to be a capsule of sorts.

The nobody waited with bated breath, anxious to see if it would work; with a few struggles of the ball, the light on the button stopped glowing red, and the ball lay limp on the ground.

“Ah, it seems they’re right. Finally caught my first.”

At Flip’s behest, the man was face to face with a brightly colored, yet rather suspicious potion. It was azure, as is the color of a deep lake, yet it fizzed quite animatedly. Xalroc could’ve sworn the water was dancing to a beat only it could hear.

He took the bottle and scrutinized it with the audacity of a curious skeptic. While Flip could be mischievous at times, and by times he meant a lot, but he couldn’t sense any trickery at work here, especially not when she looked so serious. Eager to help the friend he once lost, he shrugged and let out a huge sigh.

Xalroc then put the container mouth on his lips and tipped it over, his own mouth slightly ajar. It felt cool, and the taste was not unlike a convenience store soda. It wasn’t bad, refreshing, even. Perfect for a hot summer’s day. So far so good, he didn’t feel any different…

Until he took a step.

His arms suddenly seized up and pressed against his sides as if an invisible force pushed against and kept it there. Like he was stuffed inside a capsule.

“What?!”

And that wasn’t the end of it. Raising an eyebrow, he tried taking another step forward, but he couldn’t, at least the way he wanted to move.

Yes, move he did, but it wasn’t just one simple step like he intended, but four rapid foot taps preceded by involuntary knee jerks. What the heck was going on?

Another step, the results were the same. It wasn’t as if he was rendered immobile, but every pace he took resulted in him tapping his foot repeatedly against the pavement before even moving where he planned to head. Soon enough, he was tap-dancing all over the place just to get from one place to another, as if his legs had a mind of their own.

And then it hit him.

Classic Flip.
