How Duke Runs His Blog

Hello. My name is Duke and this is how I run my blog.

SPEED: Impulse Posting or Everything is queued.

I like to keep everything I do in my queue so that I don’t clog up the dash. However, if you see me posting a lot within a few hours that means I’m probably on and dicking around. I am usually online from 2pm to 5am MST (no DST). But I’m sparse on the weekends due to working the evening shift. However, I tend to keep my speed like this:

                 Replies = Queued (10 to 22 posts from 7am to 10 pm) || MST (no DST) - 07:00                  Musings = Once a day at a specific time

                 Impulse Posting May Occur = Monday thru Friday                  Random Inbox Shit May Occur = Saturday and Sunday

I live in the barren state called Arizona, which means I don’t have Daylight Savings Time. Get Rekted Losers. Hahahahaha.

REPLIES: Queued (10 to 22 posts from 7am to 10pm) || MST (no DST) - 07:00

I’m slow and I impulse reply to threads. The rule for me: the longer the thread the longer it takes me to reply. Sorry, but multiple paragraph threads take a lot out of me and I have to be in a certain mood - mostly because I get intimidated and also I am pretty straight to the point in my threads.

STARTERS: Beginning blog greeter starters - after that only plotted starters.

I tend to write starters a lot when I start new blogs, mostly to get people interested in me and starting a thread with me. I find it easier to get kicking that way, since it’s like “hello, I wanna rp so let me throw this at you and see if you take the bait”. That’s right. I’m a sham. I bait people with greeter starters at the beginning and never do it once I get kicking. :T Sorry not sorry.

INBOX: Anonymous always on and always open.

I’m open to everyone and everything. You wanna throw your muse at me, go ahead - though I’d prefer you just tag me into a starter than coming into my inbox. I mean, if we’re just gonna move it to a thread then why not just tag me in a starter than moving it from an ask. But that’s just my philosophy.

I’m also slow. I have a hoard of asks in my inbox that I’m slowly doing and deleting some because some are just so old. So if I haven’t replied in months but have replied to others, then I probably deleted your ask because it’s out of date. However, if I haven’t replied to other’s of that meme, then you bed I’m saving them to just slap you in the face with.

SELECTIVITY: Non-Selective and Open (don’t have to mutuals)

I’m pretty open to everything and everyone. I usually follow back everyone who follows me since the majority of people are mutuals only - and to be honest I am kinda mutuals only too (in that I only send inbox memes to mutuals). However, if I unfollow you the reasons are one of the following:

                You’re clogging my dash via: ooc posts or uncut posts. :T                 You unfollowed me first

WISHLIST: Pre-established Relationships (the good, the bad, and the ugly)

Okay, seriously I want pre-established relationships. I want M to have ex-lovers, flings, enemies, friends*, clients, etc. I want to skip the awkward introductions and just go to something like: “Yo, [insert name here] there’s a food eating competition, I bet I’d beat you.” And just have interesting relationships.

*friends as in people who consider M a friend. :T and not necessarily who M would call friends, but would lie and say they are...it’s complicated.

HONEST NOTE: M is a shitty guy.
