i'm finally watching the movie version of camelot and man...joshua logan i was so ready to defend you bc i adored your take on paint your wagon but so far this is not it king

#harris and redgrave i KNOW you can act. what are we doing here. i must unfortunately blame the director thus far #i liked the decision to start outside camelot and flash back* and the art direction is fascinating (though i'm mixed on the costumes)#but hmm. hope this improves as it goes on #*i haven't seen the stage version in eons so my b if this is how it normally begins and not a neat directorial choice #i'm mostly familiar with the og soundtrack #camelot #edit: okay spoke too soon harris is eating the excalibur monologue
