Oggi apro le notizie e sempre più penso che le testate le dovrebbero dare i direttori, giornalisti, redattori alle scrivanie dove sono seduti, non ci sono notizie solo gossip, che non è vero, però diciamo che su 10 notizie 6 sono di gossip, ma che cazzo, però ha il suo perché secondo me, il fatto che in questo momento di crisi con i prezzi alle stelle di tutto e la tristezza per un futuro più che incerto, è logico che da qualche parte un sorrisino bisogna trovarlo e dove se non sui giornali? Che fanno concorrenza sempre più al trash più trash, ma vediamo se ridete anche voi. Prima, leggo che Vasco Rossi ha una serie su netflix (che è sempre più merdflix), niente da obiettare o da criticare, ha milioni di fans ci può stare, poi gustibus ma a me fa ridere, pensando che molti grandi hanno solo un mini docufilm fatto anche male. Nell'ultimo anno l'Italia ha perso 14 miliardi, bruscolini che volete che sia, infatti la nana melona dice basta sprechi ahahhahahahh sono troppo comici sti qua al governo, cioè loro che regalano soldi a destra e a manca che neanche Fiorin Serafino ai paesani dopo aver ricevuto l'eredità, ora viene che devono tirare la cinghia e indovinate di chi è la vita a cui si stringerà quella cinta? Certo trovarsi a un metro da una leggenda è ovvio che un pò ci si sente emozionati, però bisogna anche capire che lui vorrebbe stare tranquillo, lo spero per lui.

Caro diario, ieri ho migrato alcuni server virtuali in un datacenter lontano lontano gestito da security admin puntigliosi che vogliono sapere anche la lunghezza dei peli del cane dei sistemisti che lo frequentano. La cosa mi generava un poco d'ansia anche a causa del netto sbilanciamento fra le difficoltà tecniche del caso e un (comprensibilissimo) totale disinteresse sia dai piani superiori sia da parte di chi usa operativamente quei servizi. Che fa un po' parte del gioco perché il sistemista è uno di quei mestieri che più lavori ammodino più a tutti sembra che tu non stia facendo un cazzo. Ho eletto il nostro head developer di fiducia (ciao) a sostegno morale ingaggiandolo per alcune attività e ammorbandolo in chat con tante bestemmie e qualche considerazione tecnica e alla fine della fiera la migrazione pareva pure andata liscia e nei tempi previsti.

La qual cosa è inusuale e sospetta ma scelgo incautamente di ignorare la mia spia di tragedia imminente (anche perché è sempre illuminata) schiacciando un cinque al monitor. Con il tempismo tipico delle sceneggiature di quart’ordine in cui un comprimario dice alla fidanza “ehi domani ti porto fuori a cena” e muore in maniera orribile due minuti dopo, iniziano problemini esotici tipo una webdav che fa alcune cose e non ne fa altre, classici prodromi a quelle sessioni di debug metafisico che ti fanno interrogare in parallelo sia su problemi informatici molto specifici che su alcune scelte di vita più generiche.

Inizio a capire il problema tecnico e decido di molestare un altro sistemista (lo so, è un mio problema, ma mi sono accorto che il rubber duck debugging non mi basta, spiegare le cose ad un essere umano funziona meglio, soprattutto quando ti risponde) e alla fine capiamo che il locking dei file su nfs non va e tocca modificare una cazzo di conf del cazzo del modulo del kernel di lockd per farlo passare da quelle quattro cazzo di porte tcp e udp che ci hanno cortesemente aperto i security admin puntigliosi.

Alla fine riusciamo a salvare il mondo senza perdite umane (che non ci sarebbero state comunque tranne forse la mia gioia di vivere e il mio sonno) e ci starebbe una di quelle scene da mission control center della nasa dove tutti esultano. Però con la sala vuota. E il dubbio di aver risolto una pippa che ad esser bravini manco avresti dovuto metterti nelle condizioni di incontrare.

Pur con quel piccolo boost di dopamina per aver Capito Il Problema™ (una gateway drug che rovina ogni anno migliaia di informatici) mi resta la sensazione di profonda inutilità professionale per un intervento insensatamente arbitrario e barocco che ricorda quelle cose da sbarbi tipo “ehi, riesci a bere una birra mentre scoreggi la marsigliese e impenni sulla bici?” che almeno si portava dietro la gioia tipica delle azioni da diporto (oltre ad essere più facile da spiegare a terzi di aver diagnosticato un server nfs con il solo lockd a culo)

Seguire Sanremo con gli "amici" di famiglia vuol dire litigare con il cinquantenne omofobo e razzista guarda caso leggermente simpatizzante della vecchia destra che dice cose tipo: "Io non ho niente contro (minoranza di qualsiasi tipo X/artista contemporaneo X) MA...".

Le cose più banalmente tristi di tale dibattito fallimentare:

1. Tale soggetto si scaglierà contro baci tra uomini o baci tra donne a caso, che questi siano solo scena o che siano tra partner (poi magari è il primo che a tavola in locali raffinati parla di argomenti poco consoni alle circostanze ad alta voce facendo fare figure di merda planetarie).

2. Tale soggetto criticherà gli outfit femminili additandoli come troppo corti e zoommando sulle mutande delle povere cantanti mettendoti a disgaio perché onestamente non ti interessa guardare sotto le mutande dei costumi scenici: sarebbe come andare a guardare sotto i tutù delle ballerine della Scala. Cioè no. Cosa ti focalizzi su certi dettagli di vestiario.

3. Tale soggetto ti dirà che i cantanti della sua generazione hanno fatto tutti successo perché seguivano un certo rigore (ma tutti hanno presente varie scenate accadute nel corso della carriera di svariati soggetti e tutti sanno che UNO SU MILLE CE LA FA, quindi i cantanti che hanno avuto successo dagli anni 70 in poi sono una piccola parte di quelli che hanno tentato la carriera).

4. Tale soggetto criticherà i Coma_Cose per poi ricredersi nel momento in cui scopre che si sposeranno...cringe. Apprezzali a prescindere se ti piacciono veramente.

5. È impossibile spiegare a tale soggetto che l'arte non ha esattamente dei canoni fissi e che anzi si costruisce staccandosi dalle tradizioni e sperimentando e che tutti gli artisti lo fanno, altrimenti non sarebbero poi famosi: il loro modus diventa poi maniera, stile e moda, fino a quando non arrivano nuove spinte sociali e politiche che modificano gli assetti societari e le convinzioni.

6. Tale soggetto arriverà a dire che è meglio suicidarsi come Tenco che accettare la propria natura o il proprio fallimento...a questa penso si sia rivoltato nella tomba pure Tenco stesso.

7. Tale soggetto, con i discorsi più sessisti, banali e misogini, ti costringerà a difendere perfino Chiara Ferragni, persona per cui non nutri né astio né eccessiva stima e che quindi pasce solitamente nell'indifferenza cosmica.

8. Tale soggetto magari è il primo che si fa una pippa su certi siti più o meno leciti, ma non sia mai che Elodie metta una tutina nera per cantare sul palco dell'Ariston, perché "Tu rappresenti la canzone italiana". Tesoro sai questo perbenismo da anni 20 del 1900 dove puoi infilartelo? Ecco.

Dio Caro e la Madonna datemi la pazienza con sta gente perché se mi date la forza vado a finire sul giornale per una minchiata come Sanremo.

Did you have some romance novels that stood out to you this year? Or certain authors you’d recommend?

I love this ask! There's a ton of different niches in romance which was something I hadn't really thought about when I started thinking of making the switch to writing it. I miss jumping around and playing with different genres in Jonsa but, if you want to make money, it's best to establish a pen in one of the niches people are reading and crank out the books. (*whispers* this chic loves making money for writing)

However, even though I found one that appealed to me and dove into it headfirst, I've enjoyed checking out some varied stuff when it comes to reading.

Here's a few I loved:

Priest by Sierra Simone - it's older (released in 2015) but damn it's hot while also having complicated characters and their 'forbidden' love story.

Give Me More by Sara Cate - It's part of a series but this was my favorite of them so far. Threesome stuff isn't for everyone but what you think is going to start off as a h0twife story is much more involved than that and had some great personal growth for all three main characters.

Blind Side by Kandi Steiner - college/sports and fake dating all wrapped into one. I've mostly read characters who are past college age this past year but I really enjoyed this one.

Pippa Grant's The Girl Band Series, especially Mister McHottie and The Stud in the Stacks. She's writes hilarious, whip-smart romcom.

The Takeover by TL Swan- lots of her books are loaded with drama with a capital D (which is sometimes great and sometimes too much for my tastes) but this one made me laugh out loud so many times and I really loved the female lead. I loved the guy too but wanted to strangle him a time or two :)

By Fate I Conquer by Cora Reilly - I love (most of) her mafia romances and this latest one was really a great dark romance with some Romeo and Juliet vibes. The niche is violent though so not for everyone.

Anything and everything by Olivia Hayle! I absolutely love her style of intelligent, steamy, banter-filled, city-life romances. I've read them all and wound up buying several of them.
