“Alright fine, but I’ll pay for everything else,” Peter insisted. “So...tomorrow? I mean, um, Friday?” He asked and flashed a small smile. “I’ll wear a suit and everything...if you don’t mind,” He added and clasped his hands in front of himself. What exactly was he thinking? This sounded exactly like a date. Anyone with a brain would think so. Maybe he did want it to seem like a date, though he wasn’t exactly sure how his feelings for her stood but they definitely weren’t negative in any way.

“so you’re the new girl?” mj asked, eyeing the girl as she sat down next to her. the girl was pretty and seemed nice, friendly enough, but she didn’t really do friends. she’s known as the school loner for a reason... still though, she’d recently been trying to open herself up more to people and make more friends. it couldn’t hurt to at least be friendly with the girl, it didn’t have to lead to some big great friendship. “what’s your name?” well as friendly as mj could be.

                HARD QUESTIONS CONSIDERED, HE WOULD GIVE THAT A 9 OUT 10. there was so much holding him back, he really didn’t even know how to start, even if he wanted to be honest with gwen. and he REALLY didn’t want to. information was DANGEROUS and he would never want to put gwen through any of that. if she knew he was spiderman, that could be the beginning of the end of a long and quiet life for her and he would never forgive himself if that happened. he wanted to tell someone. the weight of everything was so HEAVY for him to carry alone. but what he wanted was not what he should do. he couldn’t make things EASIER for himself, at the cost of making them HARDER for anyone else.

she didn’t know who this was, but she knew that she knew electro, and therefore maybe even spider-man. which was valuable; it meant that she was headstrong and she had courage. tabitha liked that. and so - with a quick look around, she moved forward, pulling out a small, electronic knife-like device, cutting her free.

think, tiny, mini lightsaber.

but before gwen could move, she caught her arm, forcing her to meet her gaze.

“hey- i’m coming with you. you’re strong; i’m not going to let you die.” not because she was a good person, but because it would benefit her. gwen could be fun. she let go, beginning to quickly move. “tabitha. your name?” the helpful thing about being a woman, especially in this century, was that everyone underestimated her, and she could easily gain TRUST. hopefully, it wouldn’t take that long with gwen.

Not from where Kara was sitting. “You were just spaced out for two minutes while I called your name.” The Kryptonian informed Gwen. Not that she was saying anything important at the moment, but she did feel quite silly now. “I don’t think that’s a very good idea.” She cautioned. “How about a quick nap? I REALLY think that you should try to sleep for a little while, I promise to wake you up if anything happens.”

“Okay, yes, maybe it was a bit of a stupid idea to dive in the snow and swim around like in those videos, but it was totally worth it,” Peter said with a sniffle, finally pulling his sweater on. “Plus, since you filmed it, Ned’s gotta give me twenty bucks tomorrow,” He reasoned and sneezed. “But I think I’m sick now so...there’s that...”

“Of course not,” Peter mumbled as his eyes shifted from the floor to hers. “I just...really had to go is all.” Did he feel bad for leaving Gwen in the middle of their presentation? Definitely. In his defense, though, he could’t stand the ringing in his ears that was caused by his senses going off. Man, did he hate that noise. He thought he could wait the presentation out, he really thought he could. When the time came to speak, he couldn’t speak. Eventually, the words that did come out were “I’ve gotta go.”

That was when all hell broke lose. Suddenly the teacher was telling him he couldn’t go and then Gwen joined in. And as time went by, the three were in a shouting contest. So if anything, Gwen should’ve been mad at him. “Are you mad at me?”
