I haven't talked about it in depth here yet, because I know I'll likely never get to rp it out with a Beerus blog, but......Amita beefing with Beerus becomes a big part of her story further along its timeline into DBS. It ties into how Vegito gets to become Whis' student as well.

To start off, the way the Battle of Gods happens in my AU is different. Instead of Beerus getting the prophecy from the Oracle Fish of the Super Saiyan God, it's a prophecy of "a mortal having power beyond a Destroyer" living on Earth. Beerus and Whis go to talk with King Kai, who tells them about Vegito. He's of course assumed to be that person in the prophecy, so the two head to Earth next so Beerus can pick a fight with him. He, and Amita, are on a cruise ship to be a part of Bulma's birthday party. King Kai warns Vegito in advance of Beerus' arrival, but he's not worried.

Naturally Vegito accepts the challenge, and the two duke it out. Beerus does start overwhelming Vegito (because this is EoZ and not his DBS self so he is a lot weaker), which in turn, starts making Amita stress tf out. As the battle goes on, and Vegito gets more and more injured despite going SS3, she starts having a panic attack. When Beerus is about apparently kill him, she snaps.

She unconsciously taps into her own latent power, power unknown to her as it's been passed down in her kin for generations from their ancestors - who had been gifted the essence of their Eternal Dragon in the distant past. Amita gets involved with the battle then, and frankly starts knocking Beerus around like he's a ball. As it turns out, the prophecy was talking about her, not Vegito.

Beerus unleashes more of his power, but hers continues to climb without a ceiling to be seen, so he still gets overwhelmed. After he gets knocked right down into the lower levels of the cruise ship, and it looks like she's preparing a blast to kill him (and destroy the ship in the process), Vegito realizes that she's entered this enraged state specifically because she's extremely protective of him. He steps in to calm her down, and her transformation wears off.

Beerus is pissed. He flies up to stand before the two of them, roughed up and even bleeding. Vegito and Amita think he's going to keep fighting, especially once he calls Whis up to him, but that's not actually the case. Beerus identifies that Amita naturally possesses God Ki and has no idea on how to control it, yet she managed to injure him, which he finds infuriating. He forms the plan then and there for she to become Whis' student, so she can learn to master her power and they could have a proper rematch in the future - where Beerus is committed to making her pay for drawing his blood.

She of course doesn't want this, but Earth's destruction is guaranteed if she refuses. She thinks on her feet, demanding that Vegito become Whis' student too, otherwise she ain't doing it. Beerus doesn't care, and Whis welcomes him. It's agreed upon that Whis will come back to Earth the next day about this time to fetch the two of them, so their training can begin right away. The two deities take their leave.

After Battle of Gods is said and done, Whis mentors both Vegito and Amita. Vegito's genuinely pumped about it, but Amita is so annoyed, since she's being forced to go along with Beerus' whim. Vegito points out that she should quit her job, since it'll just get in the way of this, but they thankfully have plenty of savings to fall back on. She for sure makes her intense dislike of Beerus clear whenever they interact, and the god isn't fond of her at all either, so. Things are highkey toxic between the two of them.

It gets even worse when, curious about the power she has, Amita chooses to go back to her village for the first time in decades to try and get answers. She'll eventually learn that Beerus is responsible for destroying her kin's homeworld millennia ago, and why their ancestors received the power of their Eternal Dragon in the first place (to escape the planet's destruction and travel to Earth).

Beerus basically becomes Amita's archenemy & one-sided rival, which amuses me so much. This cat man deity beefing with a mortal woman that he can't kill because it'd be a waste of her potential & his pride would never recover from the smack down she laid on it, so he has to put up with her continued disrespect towards him. Amita has to comply with his order to keep Earth safe since Vegito's weaker than him and she can't reliably channel her power yet, but her anger and hatred makes her keep playing with fire. Comedy all around.

Again, I don't expect any Beerus rpers to humor me with this, so I won't bring it up to any. It's just fun stuff for me to think about (and write out in fics).

But uhhh if any Beerus rpers would like to do stuff in this AU, please feel free to hit me up..... 👀
