Hunched over the sink, Laurie turns the bong upside down, watching brown water gush into the basin. The smell is horrible, and the musty look of the glass isn’t much better — but guests are over and he’ll have to keep up appearances somehow. “Make yourself comfortable, man,” he calls to Lucky, who Laurie’s left behind in the living room.
