Yuuup. They had to go and disable the legacy service before they fixed the HTML issue with the new one. I'm so mad!!!

I already had versions of the applets created for the new service ready to go and everything, just waiting for the HTML issue to be resolved.

Instead they disabled all my old applets, the new ones still aren't working properly, and I had to spend time coding an additional set of applets that would create link posts and at least try to stick the most useful information in the horribly cropped link preview (I went for: Summary + Additional Tags).

Even the option to have proper captions under the link in a link post would be nice, as even without the HTML formatting I could at least include full story summaries, instead of cropped ones.

Hopefully the problem will be fixed relatively soon, especially now that everyone must use the new service.

Alas, all I have so far is "We're aware of this and are looking into it." plus "We don't have an exact timeline for a resolution."
