notes about angeliki: 

HATES being called “your worship”. it makes her extremely uncomfortable, partly because of how vastly different it is from before and during the time she was tranquil, and because she wholeheartedly believes that she isn’t above anyone because of the mark. doesn’t believe one person should be put in such a high position of power. 

in a similar vein, doesn’t like being the herald of andraste. she’s fairly certain from the get - go that she is a freak accident that somehow involves the fade, especially with her magic only resonating with the fade and nothing else. she doesn’t consider herself a miracle or anything similar. she knows she’s part of something that went wrong. 

while not a dreamer in the traditional sense, angeliki can walk through memories in the fade, and uses those memories to draw out magical allies. spirits will flock to her call if she reaches out, reaching up to a hundred in the large battles, nearing thousands in the final fight before she has to face off with corypheus. some of her most impressive summons of memories are portions of armies, giants, and a dragon. she only manages the dragon four times ( she says only as if it isn’t extremely impressive ), but she is proud that she was able to do so. she’ll never say that, though, just smile and thank people for the compliment. 

supports cole from the second she meets him. she’s obviously in a unique place, and has more information on the fade than anyone living because of it. she knows he’s trustworthy from the beginning, and his presence one of the few things she puts her foot down on. she can usually see the other side of an argument, but she refuses to kick cole out of the inquisition at any point in time. 

sera and iron bull are two of her closest friends. she’s decently short, so she always looks very small next to bull, and is always underestimated next to him until she does something extraordinary ( which is often ). bull tries ( and fails ) to find a kind of liquor that angeliki likes, and accidentally gets her completely wasted several times. she falls asleep leaning on him more than a few times in the tavern. all of the chargers, at one point or another, have carried angeliki to her room to put her to bed. bull jokes often about how light she is, saying a sack of potatoes is heavier than her, etc, and even launches her out of her bed once from jumping onto it right next to her. he has also thrown her into the air multiple times, if only to hear her screams turn into overwhelming laughter. 

she doesn’t laugh often. 

sera is one of the few people who makes her laugh. angeliki knew several elves who didn’t fit into the “elf” mold, and doesn’t think she’s odd for her behavior. angel loved pranks before she was tranquill, and quickly finds humor in the harmless ones sera pulls. whenever they get caught, angeliki’s always giggling behind her hand while apologizing profusely, especially to josephine with the bucket of water.

varric knows her better than anyone else. the fade constantly offers her memories and stories of the past for her preview, so varric’s stories, all from his imagination, are the most interesting ones. she confides in him early on, reassured by how the fade reacts to him that he’s trustworthy. this feeling only gets stronger when she meets hawke. hawke’s quarters are close enough to hers that the memories of varric sneak into her dreams. he’s the dad friend. varric gives bull hell the first time angeliki shows up with a hangover, but it eventually turns into friendly banter with the three of them making jokes.

most people would assume she’d be close to solas because of their similar experiences with the fade, and, on some level, she is close to solas, but she knows many of the memories he’s seen from exposure, and never fully trusts him. spirits whisper all kinds of things, and especially at the temple of mythal, they warn her not to trust him. so she’d not nearly as surprised as everyone else when he leaves. 

she respects the hell out of vivienne. she wouldn’t have before she was tranquil, but with the knowledge she has from the fade, and her own wisdom, she knows that vivienne’s experiences differ vastly from hers, thus giving her insight to different things than angeliki did. the fact that vivienne listens to her and her ideas really fuels that respect, though. 

vivienne is often seen going to her rooms in the morning to help angeliki “put her inquisitor face on”. vivienne helps her ( and her crippled fashion sense ), often rejecting several outfits angeliki might pick out while nudging her towards things that are better suited for her. vivienne always laughs and/or sighs whenever angeliki comes back with clothes that sera picked out with her on trips. her makeup is always done by vivienne. partly because the mark makes it extremely difficult to hold things, like an eyeliner pencil, and partly because she always feels like she’s ready to face the world after vivienne’s finished. as she gets closer to dorian, he also makes appearances early in the morning to add his own commentary to her poor wardrobe choices. 

most of her time with blackwall is spent talking about the various mounts that the inquisition has required, and usually a result of how much time angeliki spends in the stables to be around the animals. the bog unicorn is essentially her best friend, and she spends a considerable amount of time in the stables with him. she also loves cows, and has cried from happiness when a cow sat behind her, put its head in her lap, and eventually fell asleep. blackwall was the only witness to that one, and she’s sworn him to secrecy.
