i can't tell if papyrus is purposefully being vague and acting aloof or if he actually is being naive. case in point:

context under: you befriended undyne but killed mettaton (causing alphys to be reclusive), family ending

context under: toriel killed, empress undyne ending

context under: all main fights died except papyrus, ruler papyrus

you are confusing papyrus. are you just appearing optimistic for the human to reset and be a better person? or are you actually being naive? all the theories say you know more than we see, so what are you?

the tricky thing here is that he keeps saying that everyone has disappeared and it's like, do i interpret this as him being naive, or does he know we can just bring them back so he doesn't think they've "died"??? i don't know anymore.
