thinking about how the 3 worst musicals i've ever been in were all during the course of like 6 months when i was fourteen. like jfc how did i manage that
#at some point i need to do a storytime about my weird theatre kid past#bc i have two hunge binders where i've kept every single script i've ever been in from the time i was like seven#and like almost none of them were actual musicals anyone would've heard of#we didn't have the money to get the rights to les mis or phantom or grease or even seussical#(ugh i wanted to be in seussical so bad lmao idc if it's overdone i will be the cat in the hat someday)#so i hear all these other former theatre kids at college talking about what role they played in like legally blonde or footloose etc.#and i'm like. here's this obscure public domain character musical that made literally no sense that i had two lines in#luckily that span of 6 months was right before what might be my favorite musical i've ever been in#it was equally chaotic but this time in a good way
