-> day with an animal caretaker in a cool park with wolves and birds of prey that i booked months ago
-> morning goes great, looking forward for the afternoon
-> sudden rainstorm hell, the park has to close and i gotta book another afternoon for later
#cool story pyro#the problem is that the park is. far away#like you NEED a car even by bike from the closest town that's quite the road#except for me car = mom and mom won't return before late august orz#BUUUUUT it was still hella !! the animals were beautiful and cute and cool#and the caretakers super nice#and i was initiated in raptor handling#(it's hard. the bird's on your left arm so only your right hand is functional)#(to fiddle with the tiny-ass snaphooks that ensure the guy doesn't fly away)#(spoilers : i'm left-handed)#but yeah i carried around a caracara and it kept screaming. beautiful
