·      Ursula bringing her daughter back to her own room so Akko can recover in peace, how sweet. I almost wrote rest in peace and then said OH NO

·      So Akko does remember bits and pieces of what happened but thinks it was a dream. That was a pretty harrowing experience so that’s gonna suck when she realizes it actually happened

·      Ursula about to tell Akko what the Shiny Rod is and why she was chosen!!!

·      And about the grand triskelion which is capable of changing the very world itself. FINALLY some info on this

·      “Once upon a time, the branches of the great tree Ygdrasil covered the world. They also connected all the stars in the heavens. Witches were able to draw their strength from these branches. As time went on however, their power began to fade. And eventually, the great era of magic came to a close. The remnants of those branches are what we now know as the ley line. But one last source of their power remains. The final vestiges of their power were sealed away within Arcturus by the Nine Old Witches. That is a magic which can alter the world. The Grand Triskelion.”

·      “How do we break the seal?”

·      “When seven unique spells are revived, the grand triskelion’s power will be released.”

·      Okay so that was a fantastic scene with a bunch of juicy worldbuilding info I’m so happy

·      Also the animation was gorgeous

·      And in world, that was Ursula animating all of that so Akko could see. Her illusion magic really is so powerful

·      No one can tell what the seven words are because they are written in Luna runes, which were used long ago by witches who studied the moon and stars. Very few today can decipher it.

·      Given how much she loves the stars, no wonder Ursula studied Luna runes

·      Simply speaking the words isn’t enough, the person saying the words has to breathe life into the spells then the true power will return

·      YALL THIS IS SO CUTE

·      Akko not knowing she revived three of the words so far and Ursula walking her through it

·      Ursula is looking at her so fondly WE LOVE THIS MILF

·      Did the rod transfer them both outside after Akko said the three words

·      God yall this scene is so heartwarming

·      LMAO Akko’s like “How did I not see it before? Chariot!” And Ursula PANICS

·      She thinks Chariot disappeared to search for the last word MY HEART

·      In a very twisted way, it is Chariot’s disappearance and ten years that leads to the seventh word finally being found

·      The mother/daughter feels that are in my heart are just…so happy

·      But I’m still confused, if the grand triskelion contained the world altering magic that could reignite Ygdrasil, why was it sealed away??????

“Mega Man X1 Internal Design Document Posted at 30th Anniversary Event” at Protodude’s Rockman-Corner.

This piece is an official character relationship chart which [...] was written between Mega Man 5 and X1's development in 1993. [...] according to this document, Dr. Wily used Proto Man as a reference when creating Zero (bear in mind Bass did not exist at this point).

There’s a few things about this I find pretty interesting, like the fact there’s a dashed line between Mega Man and X (a secondary connection) — but a solid line (a direct connection) going from Proto Man -> “Reference” -> Zero Project. This suggests, to me at least, that while X may have been inspired by Rock they don’t share any actual programming or schematics. Blues and Zero, on the other hand... might? And “Reference” implies that even in the development stages of MMX1, they knew Wily didn’t just copy Blues’ programming or schematics and immediately turn around and start working on Zero. He used what he stole/learned on other [to be determined] projects, refined it, and later used that to build Zero.

(Also the other Robot Masters, bosses, minor baddies are all just grouped together as “Evil Robots”, lol sorry guys.)

The other thing I’d read was... I think... crap, I’m sorry, I can’t remember. If it comes to me and I find it I’ll update this. Assuming I didn’t imagine it, lmao. But I think it was a breakdown of the game timeline?

Basically, in The Power Fighters Dr. Wily says “I studied Megaman hoping to create a similar robot” and then accidentally developed Bassinium. So he admits yeah Bass is intentionally an edgy recolor 😂 and he was trying to duplicate Mega Man. But when exactly did he study Rock? Know who he did study... and rip off of...? Rock’s prototype, Blues.

Wily goes on to say he’s used what he learned from creating Bass to build Zero. Coincidentally we have ancillary info that Wily used copied material from Proto Man to eventually build Zero. I’m making a leap that it was on the software end, but given that Blues, Bass, and Zero all have a strong independent/rebellious streak, I don’t think it’s a stretch. (Also Bass and Zero are overpowered while Proto Man is, ah, not known for his strength. So. I don’t think it’s likely he was copying hardware schematics.)

Okok what's your view on itafushikugi (or the plant trio, tq anon for this name) being in poly relationship or having a poly relationship with them??

oooo I think itafushikugi actually work better than the sss trio (but that's probably bc we haven't seen trio dynamics from them aside from in fanon) but I think their personalities really balance each other out. like all three of them can easily stand their ground without help. while nobara’s the assertive one out of the three, megumi’s temperament serves to bring both yuji and nobara down to reality when they’re caught in their feelings, and yuuji is the compassionate one which makes up for megumi and nobara’s lack thereof.

i just think the three of them are really neat!!! also nobara gives me bi vibes while shoko’s a lesbian. so plant trio are platonic or poly but sss trio is mm/ww solidarity LMAO

even being in a poly relationship would just be....chill.....just kisses and hugs and a lot of touching bc i think everyone in that group is a little too touch starved and too used to keeping their guards up rather than down. it takes a little while to get into a routine, but with yuji and nobara more than happy to give out touches, everyone settles down pretty quick 😁
