if I had a nickel for every time a red-headed companion of the Doctor had a curly-haired daughter who goes by a name beginning with R that is different to the one she was given at birth, significantly changed her appearance/presentation in a plot-relevant way at least once, was born with Time Lord-y attributes due to her mother's travels with the Doctor, and willingly gave up said Time Lord-y attributes as a lifesaving measure...
... I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but what the fuck

OC Interview Questions - Nature: Gwen
🥀 [WILTED ROSE] How good is your OC at meeting deadlines? What motivates them?
Gwen is great at meeting deadlines. In her line of work, things are often literally life and death, so that's a pretty good motivator.
🌹 [ROSE] Does your OC believe in true love? Why?
She definitely does. Why else would she go to the ends of the earth and be willing to lose everything for a boy shed only meet two days earlier?
🍄 [MUSHROOM] How likely is your OC to eat random berries/mushrooms they find?
Not at all.
🍁 [MAPLE LEAF] What is your OC's favourite season? Why and what do they do during it?

Dairy is her favorite (especially peanut butter ice cream)
🏵️ [ROSETTE] What flower symbolises your OC best and why? What does the flower mean in floriography?
A sunflower. She's bright and fun and always looking for the light, but she's also study and tough enough to weather a storm. It stands for strength, happiness, confidence, self-esteem, ambition, devotion, healing, inspiration, loyalty, nourishment, opportunity, pride, vitality, warmth, and wealth
🌻 [SUNFLOWER] Where would your OC get lost in the moment/beauty of the place?
On one of their first dates, Tequila took her hiking in the mountains. They went up this trail for a few miles and at the end there was a ridge with a huge waterfall cascading down into a crystal clear river. The sun was shining on it and they're were rainbows glinting in the spray. It was breathtaking.
💐 [BOUQUET] If you could send your OC a bouquet, what flowers would make it up and what is the overall message?
Yellow roses and sunflowers because I admire her and would want to be her friend.
🌾 [RICE SHEAF] How picky is your OC with food? What will and won't they eat?
She's mildly picky. She'll try anything once but she knows what she likes. She will NOT eat haggis!
🌿 [HERB] Is your OC religious? What do they believe in?
Gwen's not actively religious. She likes to go to church sometimes on holidays just for tradition's sake and she pays when things are especially dire but mostly she just believes in being nice and trying to do as much good as she can.
☘️ [SHAMROCK] How passionate is your OC about things they love/hate?

If any horned children or children with weird foreheads or ringed eyes survive, what happens to them? I know you said they're cursed to die young, but... what are they usually like? Do they have any weird powers/chakra? Any common personality traits or anything? Why does the clan kill them immediately?
If they survive, then they carry the heavy curse of their nature for the rest of their (short) lives. The ones who are most heavily deformed are not permitted to leave clan territory, out of both concern for their delicate constitutions and shame for their existences. They are known for being imbalanced: either intensely weak and fragile or devastatingly volatile, with little in between, and possessing strange abilities that can’t be explained. Often, they are not very bright, suffer infertility, and endure a long list of other maladies, including sicknesses of the blood and the lungs. For mercy’s sake – and to lessen the load for the clan – these children are usually killed immediately. But, as the stories go, they are also killed to prevent the birth of any monsters who’d soak them all in blood before they died.
Nonetheless, there have been a few Uchiha who rose to prominence in the past.
Uchiha Nanashi - ex-wife of an Uchiha clan head whose name is lost to time. Nanashi was the daughter of a single mother whose father was never known. Bold and beautiful, she was both a decorated kunoichi and a desirable would-be bride despite the extra rings in her eyes and the odd bulges on her palms, and she eventually married. However, she never had a child, even after attempted fertility treatments. When her husband came back with a second, non-clan wife, citing their childless marriage as reason, Nanashi flew into a furious wrath. She snatched his new wife as her mistress, struck him down, and pulled the clan into a bloody civil war for five years until she emerged as the victor and the new clan head, taking her former husband’s wife as her own wife. It’s theorized that the regular cousin-marriages in her family history caused her deformities. Nanashi was pregnant only once and died immediately before the child was born, age twenty-five. When it was cut out of her, it’s said that the infant was so monstrous that it was immediately thrown into the river by the midwife and the bulges on her palms were revealed to be underdeveloped eyes – perhaps even fully capable of vision, had she developed the lids for them. Nowadays, by Madara’s era, Nanashi’s story is often brought up to remind Uchiha of the dangers of poorly-matched marriages.
Uchiha Kaguchi - in his short sixteen years of life, Kaguchi was famous for having the hottest fire of any Uchiha dead or alive. His flames were so hot that they came out blue. What is notable about this is his consistency – unlike Uchiha who could only achieve blue fire after intense concentration or in short bursts, Kaguchi was capable under any circumstance. He was seen as one of the bright young hopefuls of the next generation – until nature struck. He’d only possessed a pair of handsome horns, which were dismissed as harmless, but he began to deteriorate soon after turning sixteen; he rapidly lost muscle mass, his bones became brittle, and his teeth fell out. His eyes turned milky overnight. When they burned him, his body cracked in the flames and revealed his organs to be rotting from the inside just hours after he died. Later, it was learned that his father was actually his mother’s father, and the man was summarily executed.
Uchiha Magata - Magata was the most extreme known case of severe inbreeding in clan history. When she was born, she came out entirely snow-white, so much so that the inside of her mouth was the only sign of color on her body. Her heart stopped three times through her childhood and she bruised no matter how lightly she was touched. Someone like her would’ve been euthanized under different circumstances, but her father intervened out of love. This changed when she reached adolescence, when various clansmen began disappearing. First, it was grown shinobi on patrol. Then young civilians running errands. Finally, infants were snatched at night. On high-alert, the clan investigated until they found the culprit – Magatama. She ate the people she stole and hiding their bones under river rocks. She was also far stronger than she used to be – lethally so. It took twenty shinobi to put her down and her parents’ marriage was annulled. Rumors abound that her parents had actually been siblings that must’ve gotten mixed up in infancy.
Uchiha Shiofuru and Shiomitsu - twins, they came from the womb intertwined and killed their mother in the process. Though their Sharingan’s shape was like that of any other Uchiha, their coloration was not. Where their kinsmen had red eyes, theirs were a deep purple and, what’s more, they were born with their Sharingan active, perpetually unable to not use them. They were not seen for much of their childhoods and was ostracized by most of the clan save the most kind-hearted, who fed, clothed, and cared for them. Rumor went that Shiofuru could see the past, while Shiomitsu could see the future. What was confirmed was that they both could see things no one else could – so much so that it drove them both to insanity. They were found having clawed each other to death, their eyes gouged out and thumbs bloody, as mere eight-year-olds.
This, of course, is only a short accord of some notable Uchiha. Being an old, ancient clan, there are plenty more names and histories that have long since been forgotten after the blood’s dried.
