It's time to present my dcla next gen ocs!

I did a post like this yesterday, and then I was gonna reblog it and instead accidentally deleted it... SO, now we have to rewrite the entire thing :,)

So, since I have a few of these now, and some have appeared in some works, and will appear in future works I think quite soon, I think it's best that I present them to people.

Now, I imagine more characters/ships having children, however, I will only present the ones that I feel that I have established. So, for example, I imagine a ship having two children together in the future, but I have not established them at all. These are the ones that I have names for, plans for, and who has appeared or will appear in my works. Never say never that more than these will appear, though! These are just the ones I have right now!

So, we will start with the canon couples of Violetta. I have imagined how it would be like if several canon couples had children, but I have only established two of them.

Leonetta has one daughter named Isadora. It is very important for me personally that her name is Isadora, that is my headcanon and you might have another hc. Maybe her middle name is Maria.

Diecesca has one daughter named Diana. In a oneshot she appeared in, she was named Sofia, but I have since then leaned more into Diana.

Pablangie (while not endgame a canon ship nonetheless) has a daughter named Paula.

Now, as I am a multishipper, I also have some non-canon couples of Violetta.

Luty has a daughter named Stella. She was born in a oneshot, which is the only time I have ever written a birthing scene (despite when I did my glee s1 rewrite, but then it was a rewrite of a canon event so not really the same)

Franletta has three kids: Two daughters named Elina and Carolina, and a son named Oliver. Oliver is adopted, while Elina and Carolina both were born with donors.

I also have a bit of a special case. In every timeline, no matter if the canon couples or non-canon couples have kids, one thing will always be the same: Camila will be a single mother. Her kid is named Kim.

Edit: Maxi and Andres have twin boys together, named Tommy and Daniel

For the Soy Luna characters, we’ll start with Jim and Yam.

I imagine them having two daughters. The oldest is named Lola, and the youngest is named Charlotte, "Charlie" for short.

Edit: I recently got Luna a little daughter, too. Her name is Lucia :)

I also have four kids for Gastina: Duncan, Anton, Annie and Mara

So, there was not much there at all with SL. But there may be in the future! We will just have to wait and see!

After last week, when I made those Franletta wedding dresses for @weirdthoughtsandideas , I actually started thinking of what they would wear to their wedding with their canon counterparts as it of course would not be the same thing. So I designed them as well

Leonetta

I just went full princess with it, because that is what I feel Vilu would want for her and Leon's wedding. So this is a full-on Cinderella ball gown, with bell sleeves and some floral pattern.

I also just made a board for it since Pinterest boarding is addicting and I need help

For the wedding color, i chose cream, coral, pink and green because that kind of seemed Leonetta. Purple was already for the Franletta so I didn't want to rehash. I also really pushed with the butterflies as theme, because for some reason I associate Vilu with them.

Diecesca

I gotta say, I like the one I gave Fran for the Franletta wedding better, but I guess you can achieve perfection only once. This is a bit more greek inspired, and pretty simple because that feels like Fran.

4. How many people I ship them with

Four people. My main ship with her is Franletta, they're amazing and they own my heart, but also she and Ana should have kissed for sure, and I'm on board for both Marcesca and Diecesca, I think they're both good ships that were pretty nice to watch for the most part.

14. Best storyline they had

The moving back to Italy storyline in s2 was great, I think. It made for some great emotional moments, and I really loved how we got to see her feelings abour parting with all of the most important people in her life individually and also with her life in general. And the whole issue of this move being so difficult for her because her life in Buenos Aires was the first thing that she actually built on her own was surprisingly nuanced and well handled. Plus, that goodbye music video makes me cry every time.

19. The most random ship you've ever seen people have with them

I've seen more than one person out there unironically shipping her with Federico because they're both italian, and as well as this being a pretty random ship, it's also insanely funny to me that all the shippers have this unspoken understanding of "all italians must date each other".

24. What do you think is a secret they have that they never told anyone?

This one is a little tough, but I think she never told anyone about having a little crush on Ana when she was around in s2. At first she couldn't because she thought it would make her sound like a hypocrite to be so jealous of Marco while admitting that she was kind of into Ana herself, and then when it was revealed that Ana was never actually her friend and was just trying to sabotage her relationship, she got too embarassed to tell anyone about it.

For the ask game:

Violetta and Francesca sat by the patio, looking at the sunshine together. They waited for some friends to come over.

The first were Ludmila and Naty. They couldn’t believe they had known them for over 70 years now. The second ones were two ladies named Jim and Yam, who Violetta and Francesca had gotten to know thanks to their oldest daughter marrying their oldest daughter. Yes, this meant that some of their grandchildren only had a bunch of abuelas.

So did all of Ludmila and Naty’s grandchildren. They only had one daughter, Stella, and to almost no one’s surprise she ended up marrying Camila’s kid, Kim. They ended up having four children together. Ludmila still did not know how to handle the fact that she and Camila were family by marriage now, even if it had been 20 years since Stella and Kim tied the knot. 

Violetta and Francesca had three kids together - Elina, Carolina and Oliver. Elina was their oldest, who married Jim and Yam’s daughter Lola. The two girls had two kids of their own, and only women for parents and grandparents. Carolina only had one kid with her husband, and Oliver, while married, never had any children with his wife. Ludmila used to tease Violetta and Francesca about how, despite them having more children, they got less grandchildren. 

Jim and Yam had a second daughter named Charlie, who had a child with one man, and then she had two others with another man that she still to this day was married to. So, they had 5 grandkids in total, which was the most out of all of them. 

Ludmila and Naty arrived first. They went out to greet them. 

So, in the beginning, this was going to be at a nursing home, with also way more characters. But I felt like it'd be more cozy to have it be at Vilu and Fran's house.

Due to me having a lot of next gens now, I thought of ways to connect and crossover the dcla characters, by letting their kids get together (there's more Violetta next gens I imagine eventually get together with SL next gens). I had this idea that far in the future, almost all characters manage to intertwine in some way, and there's descendants that have managed to be related to a majority of them at once. I even tried once to come up with a fun family tree on how all character's descendants eventually got together, making their kids be distantly related to them all in the process. BUT, that just ended up being way confusing, especially because I got two different universes to work with. And these universes are essentially the same for everyone except for Violetta and Francesca - who are with Leon and Diego in universe 1 and with each other in universe 2. However, I still do believe that in the universe where they marry their canon endgames, they still eventually might be friends with Jim and Yam. I mean, if you've read my next gen fic, Lola is still friends with Leonetta and Diecesca's daughters, so it's not surprising they'll get to know them due to their daughters just being friends. Also, who Lola ends up with in universe 1 (where none of Franletta's kids exist), well... we'll see.

I have not at all thought much about eventual grandchildren, to be honest. I just spawned ideas that "oh, they have this many kids, maybe they have one", and also tried to include different family constellations; some have kids with different people, so their kids are half-siblings. But I really have not brought much thought into who every single person has married, besides the ones mentioned by name. The rest are just "some dude/some gal". Ludmila and Naty having four grandchildren came from me having that in the christmas event last december. I have for long known that I wanted Luty's daughter and Camila's kid to be an eventual couple, because I thought it would be funny that Ludmila had to deal with having Camila as her in-law. But I have not named or even gendered any of those four grandkids.

I thought about the red shorts headcanon again and laughed. And now I’m kinda interested if when Luna’s future daughter got hers, that Luna was the one being ”it’s probably the shorts”

Also how do you think everyone who has daughters in your next gen characters reacted when they got their periods?

The red shorts hc is highkey the funniest headcanon I ever had.

Sure, let’s do this.

Luna first - Yes, literally it would be the opposite situation this time. Her daughter by chance happened to ALSO wear read shorts. And she’s like ”mom… I think I got my period.” Luna SHOULD have learned from her own example but she’s like ”Oh no, it’s probably the shorts. They’re new, they leave colored marks.” Anyway, when she finally does realize it in fact isn’t red shorts, she just shrugs it off like ”I guess I was wrong. You got your period. You need help with the pads?”. Basically - no big deal at all.

Violetta and Francesca, they have different kids depending on the universe, so we get different situations.

Starting off with Leonetta’s daughter. She’s a little awkward about telling Violetta, but Violetta is essentially like ”I will give you all the support I didn’t get when this happened to me” so she’s very gentle and comforting about it.

Diecesca’s daughter is a sneaky little gremlin who decides she’s not gonna tell her mom. Why? Because why not. It can be fun, or something. This caused Francesca to immediately know something is up, and eventually stops her and is like ”you got anything to tell me?”. Her daughter is like ”no…” and Francesca drags her to the laundry room and asks ”why is your underwear bloody?”. Her daughter has to confess and Fran just shakes her head but smiles and gives her a hug.

Now, in the universe where Franletta has kids, they have two daughters. For the first daughter, she kinda does not realize it herself. Vilu and Fran just notices there’s a red stain on the couch, wondering where that came from, and both of them at once went to ask her. Their daughter is awkward about it, and feels embarrassed that ”both of them asked at once”, and does not want to talk about it anymore. Her moms are like ”alright, but you can ask us anything”.

Their other daughter I think told the first one that she saw about it, and then the other one got to know soon after. And it was not that big of a deal.

Now, for Jam’s daughters… I’m thinking their first daughter had the approach of ”just dropping it casually”. So she came home, and Jim and Yam were just in the kitchen, busy with their own things. And their daughter just goes ”school was good, got my period, where’s the pads?”. One of them answers ”box to the left”, before both of them suddenly stop with their tasks, and stare at her. ”Wait, what did you say?” They then run up and hug her and she’s like ”ok cool but like. Where’s the pads-”

For their other daughter… ok, this is gonna sound so out of context but I don’t have context for it. Literally, it’s just an ooc scene that showed up in my head, I will never write it probably, so it will forever just be in my head. But hear me out: She’s stuck on a roof for some reason. Her moms are trying to get her down and they’re shouting back and forth, and all of a sudden she goes ”HURRY BECAUSE I THINK MY PERIOD JUST STARTED” and Jim and Yam just gets really caught off guard for a moment.

Luty… their daughter told Naty specifically first, because she KNEW Ludmila would have this big emotional reaction and she wanted to kind of mentally prepare for that. Naty was also quite emotional, but she kept it in and just hugged her really tightly. Right then, Ludmila came home and was like ”what’s going on?”. Their daughter told her, and Ludmila just started crying. But it only lasted for around a minute, before she collected herself and they went to help her get settled.

With Ámbar, I think her first daughter kinda had this mentality of ”it’s just a period, why even tell anyone lol”. So anyway, Ámbar does her laundry, realizes there’s red stains on her clothes and confronts her about it. Her daughter is like ”I dunno I got my period or something” and Ámbar is kinda like ”… and why did you not tell me this…”

Her other daughter is more shy and so kinda wants to talk with her in private, and is more awkward about telling her. So, Ámbar is the comforting mom who hugs her and tells her she’s gonna give her everything she needs.

With Nina it’s a bit complicated. She has two girls, but this far I’ve only really pictured them as little, so I can’t come up with much. But I think she’d be very helpful and comforting when it happens. The big thing would be with her son who’s trans. His first period was really, really traumatic and he wasn’t himself at all that week. Nina did everything she could to make him comfortable, but it seemed like it didn’t work. He came out as trans very shortly after his first period, and thus they quickly got him hormone blockers.

Bonus: Angie also has a daughter that I barely talk about unless it’s confirmations that Pablangie is endgame in my fics. When her daughter gets hers, Angie is well prepared. She always wanted to be the one to help Vilu with it (and she couldn’t because she didn’t get to see Vilu during those years), but now she has a daughter that she gets to do all of that with. So her daughter gets so much help, support and preparation for it. It’s all good.

I decided to make a rundown of when all my next gens (that I have this far at least) are born. Not because it’s interesting for anyone else but it’s more for me to keep track so I know how old everyone is in different fics they appear in (for example, if one character is like 8 in a story, I need to see how old someone who’s younger/older than them is then, plus I need to check if some characters even would be born when some are of a certain age).

Ok so just some extra info about my next gen headcanons, because they'll appear much more in my works than before:

There are two timelines.

The reason there is two timelines is because of the fact that I ship both Leonetta and Franletta, and I see both of them having kids. They are the only reason for this.

Every other next gen is exactly the same.

In both timelines, Camila is a single mother to one kid.

In both timelines, Luty has a daughter. I've previously thought about Naxi having kids, however, I have not established that much at all, and it was more of a "what if" scenario. Also, I have some ideas playing out for Luty's daughter in both timelines lol.

Also in both timelines, Pablangie has two kids, although I have yet to really establish that, but I just know they do <3

For the most part, all events with Camila and Luty's kids will always be the same - except when they interact with the children of Violetta and Francesca.

I'm gonna call this timeline 1 and 2.

Timeline 1: Leonetta and Diecesca have a daughter each. Every other pairing is the same.

Timeline 2: Franletta has three children, two daughters and one son. Every other pairing is the same.

Leon and Diego do not have any children in timeline 2, although they may have been donors to Franletta's kids... maybe.

The timelines may impact the SL next gens. This is only because of one single character, who in timeline 2 may get a bit close with one of Franletta's daughters, but in timeline 1, that character will never get to know her. Other than that, they'll not interact with the SL next gens at all so it doesn't really matter.

I hope it's not too confusing (but honestly I don't think a majority really cares lol). But if you feel like sending me some asks about it that's ok!

Ok, I listened to a podcast some months ago, where a woman and her female partner (idr if they were married or not but they were a couple) was gonna plan to have a baby via a donor.

And I learned that, apparently if you don't pick a donor yourself, the clinic chooses a donor based on the partner's DNA. So, she was the one getting pregnant and her partner was a brunette with brown eyes. So, they had to find a donor with brown hair and brown eyes to "match".

Where I am going with this is that, as a multishipper I love both canon and non-canon ships and you know I have some planned future kids for Leonetta as well as Diecesca. But I also have some future kids for Franletta. And, well... for Franletta, I think they have two kids via donor and one adopted kid. And for the two donor kids, I imagine they take turns carrying the child. Which means, the donors both have to be brown haired and brown eyed, as well as black haired and brown eyed...

And which two people are that? :-)

Could you create your next gens in the sims?

Sure!

So, I thought which sims to use, and I thought about the sims 3 because then I can make the clothes the exact color I want. Also there was a dress in particular I thought of. However, I do like that the sims 4 has an infant stage... and also you can make nonbinary sims easier, ALSO you can make them wear braces. So, TS4 it was.

Some of the clothes' colors were in the wrong color since I couldn't use a color wheel and there was one dress I thought was here but it was apparently in another game. Either way, here they are!

For starters, Franletta's kids. I created them in all the life stages I have written and imagined them in.

Elina, as a toddler and as a kid

Carolina as a baby, toddler and kid

Oliver as a baby and kid (I kinda skipped the toddler age with him lol. Also, he's adopted)

Now here, Luty's daughter, Stella, as a baby, toddler, kid and teenager

And Camila's kid, Kim, as a toddler, kid and teenager (don't know if you can see their braces)

I'm actually a bit sentimental about Stella and Kim, because in everything I've written them in, they have grown older each time. In the first work they appeared in, Stella was born and Kim was a 1 year old. They have since then grown slightly older and I'm later gonna include them as a teenagers in a story. It's like I've followed them growing up!

Also Stella appeared as a mom with four kids in a little oneshot too lmao

The DCLA character's future kids

Here's some next gen hcs that, for the canon ships at least, I've thought about for over 2 years.

The canon ships: Leonetta has one daughter. She is very musically talented just like her parents, although quite shy. Though, when you get to know her, she has quite the sass, similar to Leon’s. She more sees singing as a hobby more than something she wants to pursue, but loves singing with her parents and friends.

Diecesca also has one daughter. I thought about them having a younger son, too, but I couldn’t come up with much of a personality for him, so I kinda scrapped it. But their daughter… well, best explained, has the looks of her mom and the charms of her dad. She’s gonna steal your heart in other words. There’s one person’s heart in particular she has her eyes on…

Naxi has twins, one boy and one girl, very energetic and constantly run off. We’ve seen how Maxi handles kids in the the show, so it’s a full performance every day chasing the little gremlins.

Now, I had an idea for Brodemila to have a daughter and then have like, toddler triplets, but I really didn’t evolve with the idea much at all. All I know is that the daughter is very tired of being home cause her parents just argue or there’s screaming from one of the toddlers, and she just doesn’t wanna be there. So not very fun.

And Fedemila, I literally could not figure out a gender on their kid, but all I can think of is that their kid just constantly manipulates and plays with them. Both of them wants to please them, so the kid just makes them do a bunch of stuff just for shits and giggles

The non-canon ships:

Luty has a daughter. I’ve established this very well.

Franletta I think either has two or three kids. I think like, they have two daughters via donors, taking turns who was pregnant. Then for the third child, they adopted a little boy.

Camila, technically this isn’t a non-canon ship because she’d be alone, but… Yeah, she’s a single mom, she had a child herself. She’s also decided to raise her kid as nonbinary, letting them pick when they’re older what gender they feel (or don’t feel) like.

… I actually realized I didn’t have any more of the non-canon ships Oh well.

If I ever write something with them, I may mix canon and non-canon.

My Diecesca opinions go up and down constantly. In the beginning of S3, I felt like my focus was almost exclusively on Fran. How she felt, what she thought...

It kinda does not make sense cause later in the season I kinda scrap this idea, but in the beginning of S3, I have this headcanon of Fran going through a bi realization. And, no, it actually does not necessarily have to do with Violetta as you might expect from me. It's more about Fran herself. In the beginning of season, she tries to figure out what she wants. It doesn't feel the same with Marco as it did last year, and she wants something different. It causes her to also figure out who she wants to be with... does she want to be with Marco or someone else? Does she even want to be with a boy...? You're following me? Maybe it doesn't make sense, idk, but I have fun playing around with this hc, it makes the viewing more fun for me.

Also, I think Francesca just feels a little stressed in the first 20 episodes and doesn't have the time to really sit down and ponder what she wants. Camila does mean well, but I think she in the beginning (note, in the beginning, not later) kind of gets pushy with Fran. She just wants to help, but it causes Francesca to lash out and get frustrated, because she just needs some time and space to figure things out on her own. Not to mention how Diego just keeps interacting with her when she also needs some space from him.

I will always be baffled how okay Marco is with Diecesca dating right away. I feel like the original plan was to hide from him, which would have higher stakes since it's a person both of them are more or less equally close with. Honestly Marco´s storyline in general was pretty ?????? so idk.

But the hiding from Vilu plot... oh, my Franletta heart is beating. Oh, my Vilu defense mode is beating. Francesca is not even enjoying her and Diego's first kiss because she thinks of Vilu and Marco, but as Marco leaves she constantly overthinks how to tell Vilu. Cause she cares so much about her, too much about what she'll think. And she should have just told right away, cause the longer it goes, the harder it is to say. People often make the argument "Francesca couldn't tell her because Violetta always talked about herself and never listened". This... is not true. In actuality, Violetta constantly asks if Fran had something she wanted to say. Yes, she can talk a lot, but she does take the time to quiet down to listen to Fran. It is, 80% of the time, either Francesca herself chickening out and making excuses why she can't tell Violetta, or someone (Camila mostly) interrupting them. I actually got a bit mad at the show when Francesca herself said that she couldn't tell Violetta because Violetta had been talking so much about Leon, and then in the previous scene, Violetta had mentioned Leon in ONE sentence, then asked Fran what she wanted to say, ready to listen - and then Camila stormed in and interrupted. It was not Vilu's fault there and honestly sometimes you're blaming her too much in this fandom. But yes, there has been scenes where Violetta actually does not listen - but it happened in literally 2 instances. 2 instances out of like... 15. And in those two, she either gets called out about not listening, or she realizes her mistake immediately, goes after Fran and to apologize and hear her out. She cares so much about Fran and Fran cares so much about her her. None of them wants to intentionally hurt the other - which adds to my next point:

Violetta is about to give up the Roxy thing very early, but Francesca unintentionally brings her back into the madness. You see, already in episode 28 (3 eps after Roxy and Fausta has been a thing), Francesca says she does not want to do this anymore and she and Violetta have a fight. During this time, Violetta realizes how silly this whole thing is and is about to give it up herself. But just as she is about to go out and forget all about Roxy, Francesca comes back in, goes "I have Fausta in my bag, let's do this" and drags Violetta back in again. Vilu also a lot of the time apologizes to Fran for dragging her into this - she feels genuinely bad for the mess she brought on herself. But without Francesca, it had stopped much sooner, but she cared so much about Violetta that she decided, even when she didn't want to, to help her out with this crazy plan. They were two in this. Violetta did not force her as much as it's portrayed she is.

Anyway I can dissect Franletta in S3 all day, because I focus so much more about them than Diego and Fran in the Diecesca plot, but I gotta admit - Diecesca, after the reveal when they can just be a normal couple without hiding, is pretty fun. The show lets you know just how silly the two can be - especially how silly Francesca can be. Though, it's a little sad that a lot of it is focused on bickering with Gregorio. That took me out a bit.

Now, for the other friendships - I have realized just want a bundle of chaos Violetta and Camila are when they are together. Camila should have been Fausta tbh, in actuality I can see that being her idea more than Vilu's. I don't know how Camila got to be the voice of reason in season 3, because she has literally never had that role before x) She was the one always dragging especially Fran into craziness in the earlier seasons. This may be the Franletta (derogatory) season, and it is the season where I have most felt "omg what if I don't ship them, what if I have just fooled myself?". Yet, every single time I think that, they come back to me. It takes ONE scene and I am BACK IN!! Franletta never dies baby!! (Plus, I don't think I could've fully stopped shipping them anyway, because even if they had less content in S3 they have so much much content in S1 and especially S2 that always is there for me). I told myself that I can and I will find Franletta scenes and baby, when you look for it, you find it <3

I won't forgive Germán for his past failures. Just because he's a good dad now all of a sudden, I can't forget everything he did.

Angie was on bad terms with him in the last episode. She hated him the whole time. They weren't even dating. Honestly to god, this marriage will not end up as happy as they want it to.

I'm so glad Jade got someone who cares about her <3 She deserves that actually.

Also I am very glad it ended with Priscila ending up at a mental institution. Both realistic and what I feel is a good ending for her. Honestly, people like her very much exists in real life and I hope that there was some kid watching this show and realized they were not alone with having a parent like that, and even acknowledging that's not how parents are supposed to be like.

Leonetta Leonetta... my beloved. Gosh, there's something with them that just keeps me intrigued even when they are being so stupid. I can say that I enjoyed their "trying to only be friends" plot just because they had more or less more tension than they ever had before and it always gets me. Idk if it's the nostalgia talking, but Leonetta... ah... them <3

This was Ludmila season. And she deserved it all. She is our supernova and she shines beyond the stars!

So apparently there is a "4096 characters per block" limit (????) but anyway. Fuck Gery no one likes her, also Clement was very boring too. Milton was also very ????? what was he even doing.

Feels like there's a million more things to say, and there is. I can never shut up about Violetta. This show has been there for me through thick and thin and I can't imagine how my life would have been like if I never saw it.

What are their child's/children's name/s?

This far I only have settled names for Leonetta's daughter, Franletta's daughters and Camila's kid. I know I did have some names for Simbar's kids in a oneshot, but I have since that oneshot much more liked them having only daughters (they had a son in that oneshot because I wanted to mix it a bit, but it fits more for them to have only daughters).

Leonetta's daughter is named Isadora. Franletta's daughters are named Elina and Carolina. They also later will have a son, but I have yet to name him. Camila's kid is named Kim. Why did you pick those names/that name?

I have always loved the name Isadora and I have too many OCs named that. It's just consistent with me. It's a name that is not too unusual, yet not as common either, it's like a good balance. I thought it just fitted the personality of their daughter, too.

Elina and Carolina I have no clue - I think that I got it after I drew them for the first time (I have drawn them and you will see that april 30th), and I was like "heh, they look like their names are Elina and Carolina"

So, Camila raises her kid gender neutral - they have an assigned gender at birth ofc, but she has decided to just raise them so that once they're ready to identify what gender they feel like (and of course switch when they feel like it). And Kim felt like a really nice gender neutral name. Are their personality similar to their parents?

Here I'm gonna answer for Leonetta's daughter and also Diecesca's daughter (yes, I have hcs for both canon and non-canons), because it's these two I've thought about more personality wise on.

Isadora is very similar to Violetta personality wise, but she absolutely has Leon's sass shining through her sometimes.

Diecesca's daughter, whom I have not come up with a good name for, has "her mother's looks and her father's charm". Basically, she is as sweet as Fran is but she charms all the ladies like Diego does *eyebrows eyebrows* Having this/these character/s as their parents, how did it affect them?

Here it's gonna be a mix of canon and non-canon ships in all of it's forms.

Kim will grow up with the biggest confidence ever growing up with a mom like Cami. They also are never afraid to speak their mind and knows they're always supported and loved no matter what.

Isadora I think always wanted to have the massive success that her parents have, but Violetta and Leon are very clear with her that they just want her to be happy. It has made Isadora get very musically interested obviously. Also, Violetta does not want to, but she has some of Germán in her, that causes her to start to be overprotective at times. However, she has Leon who can stop her from going too far (and even stop her from doing anything too overprotective at all), which is good, luckily. With that, Violetta also wants Isadora to just be allowed to be free, the way she couldn't as a kid. So now you have a mother who wants her daughter to have the childhood she didn't, but also feels the overprotective need she sadly inherited from her own dad? Yeah... it's gonna be messy! Luckily she has Leon! Germán had no one who could stop him :-)

I also have Luty's daughter here, and she I think always felt like she was the best. You know Ludmila would just always tell her she's a star and then Naty would just happy cry in support if she just did anything at all. This has caused their daughter to just always feel really overconfident in herself, although as she grows up I imagine she feels a bit embarrassed by her moms constant affection and cheer on her. Like, they'd be similar to Rainbow Dash's parents in MLP FiM in that they'd have a whole shrine room with their daughter's accomplishments.

Diecesca's daughter I think looked up to especially Diego so much. Like she's definitely a daddy's girl. It's to the point where she wants to dress like him and takes every advice he gives her to heart (for better or for worse). But then she also has Francesca as her mom, so she definitely knows how to treat people with kindness and loyalty. She cares very deeply about her friends just like Fran does. Fran is often the one who will scold her when she gets in trouble, while Diego is more "ah, leave her be, it's ok". But, Fran and Diego can both be very chaotic when they want to be, and their daughter DEFINITELY inherits that. Imagine someone with the cocky attitude of Diego and the way to get into chaos like Fran. Not to mention this girl is related to Gregorio too. She's a handful.

Now, I wanna go over to Jim and Yam, because I have two daughters for them too. And their daughters are just buckwild. Like growing up with two sarcastic and chaotic people who always got in trouble? Their kids will just be them but more wild. Like I can imagine Jim and Yam trying to have some sort of order with them, and then just giving up and deciding to let them run around as they please. Because they realize, letting them explore and play and mess around, it eventually leads them to doing the right choices. Also, their kids will always be accepted and supported exactly how they are. Also, their moms will defend them for anything. Any planned stories/events with the kids in your head?

I do have some for Franletta's kids, I'm gonna post one later this month, but it won't include their third kid. But I have a story in my head of when they adopt him and bring him home.

I have a story in my head involving Isadora and Diecesca's kid... and some things they get up to. Violetta and Leon are involved too, and Francesca is kind of involved but not as much. It's mostly Leonetta and the two girls.

I have a fun little story for Jam and their daughters involving Ramiro. Basically, Ramiro is convinced they have a son, and Jam decide to never tell him. Gender is a concept anyway, and also they wanna mess with him. Anyway one day he visits and one of the girls just says something and he's like "Wait. You're a girl?" and confronts Jim and Yam about it, who just, in their full trolling voices, "We never said the genders of our kids lol?" - it needs some work on though. Also, I have thought of a babysitting Ramiro story.

When you were younger and watched Violetta, what was differerent with how you thought compared to today, and what is the exact same in your experience watching today?

Here’s a list of things I thought about the show when I was a kid that I absolutely do not think anymore:

I thought Matias was funny

I also found Jade annoying, even if I could find her funny too

I didn’t like Gregorio

There was a small, dark period of time where I thought Priscila was ok (didn’t last for too long luckily)

I thought the Roxy and Fausta plot was the funniest thing ever (though I still think the concept of the characters are fun, but the actual plot and use for them is 😶)

I thought Tomas was better than Diego 🫠

It’s hard to remember everything, there were probably a lot of smaller things too, like some scenes or eps I just changed my mind about later.

Now, here’s things that always has been the same for me:

My love for Leonetta. Always big. Always there.

I essentially have the same opinion about every ship, only that I may not feel as strongly about them at all times, or feel more strongly.

Some scenes I always react the same to. Like, the ”the kiss was my kiss” scene and the 2x20 non-con kiss always brings me rage. There’s also a million scenes that brings me just as much serotonin as the first time I watched them.

I always, ALWAYS, dislike Germangie. It felt just as weird when I was 12 that they were endgame as it feels now

My favorite songs have not changed at all. My least favorite songs change every other hour, but my top 10 songs? Always the same. Guess once which song is on top and I’ve been blasting since I was 11 ;)

The way I analyse this show. Of course, as an 11 year old, I couldn’t analyse the show in the same way, but I always had an interest to. Much because, I felt like everyone else who watched ”just watched”. I had a ”no one else understands the depth of this show besides me” moment. Not only because, the loudest V-lovers were like 8 years old, and I felt at times too old to watch. But in reality, this show was really more for preteens, even if they marketed it like a preschool show

My favorite episodes then are still my favorite episodes today

My favorite characters have not changed

While I’ve appreciated the adults more now, I still will take the kids sides a lot. Especially Violetta’s. Many people think she’s annoying in early S1, but they fail to remember she hasn’t had the time to become her best self yet, because she’s so stuck and hasn’t been allowed to explore herself with her overprotective father

And here are things I didn’t think about as a kid and I thought about now:

How unbelievavbly on crack the show is. I knew it was chaotic from childhood but at THIS level of insanity?

How fruity the show is. I think it’s a universal experience to rewatch the show as you’re older and realize ”wow, this is fruitier than I remember”

And with that, I certainly did not realize like… how the real love triangle in S3 was between Naty, Ludmi and Cami? Not to mention FRANLETTA????

Franletta is interesting though cause Fran has always been my favorite character. But I never really… cared much about her love life. I liked her and Marco a lot. Honestly I always assumed they would’ve been endgame. I wonder if they were thought to be it, but due to Xavi leaving the show, they had to change it. Or, they were planning on having some love triangle between Marco, Diego and Fran, but had to change it to ”Diecesca hiding from Violetta”. Idk, that plot felt like not their first choice. I have however, always loved Francesca around her friends. Especially her relationship with Violetta. So really, I’ve always been ready to ship them without knowing it at first.

Really started to see more perspectives and be able to see some things from different character’s POV.

Also realized the more problematic aspects of the show… of course not only the whole deal with the censored episode and the really uneccessary depiction of the chinese restaurant workers, but also how there’s ableism and at times they just joke about people’s mental health and don’t take it too seriously. Also how quickly everyone forgets each other for non-consentual actions. Much of this is also problems in other DCLA shows. I feel like with every new show they go one step forward and two steps back with some things.

So yeah, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows, but I am glad I can recognize the problems too and call them out.

In the end though, this show will always mean so much to me and I can enjoy it just as much now as I did then, even if I may enjoy it for other aspects now.

AND THAT WAS SEASON 2 (AGAIN!)

So many times I've watched this season yet it always brings more surprises (and disguises)

Gregorio is way funnier than I gave him credit for

This is really the rainbow season. Both because of the colorful outfits and scenery, but also due to the extreme queer energy surrounding the season.

Angie deserves everything.

I used to be very much "what if Angie and Jackie are exes" but due to them trying to make it very clear they haven't met, I have made some other theories. One is, that they are exes, but Angie didn't know Pablo until later in life - so both knew Jackie, but didn't know of each other. Second theory, Pablo and Angie knew each other at the Studio when they were students, but Angie dated Jackie later, maybe at university when she studied to be a teacher? Third theory, they didn't know each other, but Angie is in love with her now and won't admit it.

Adding on that, Angie really FLIRTED with her????? She flirted with no one besides Jackie.

Still wanted to know what happened to Esmeralda. Does she have contact with her daughter?

I know I didn't talk about Luty as much but I absoLUTY love them ;)

Honestly??? I think they had to ruin things in season 3 because season 2 already was on top /hj

I realized how Marco and Diego kind of had the same approach of girls, with "never leaving them alone until they give them a chance", but Marco did it a more softer way.

Also, I did not feel much of any Diecesca vibes at all. They were good dancers, but not even as a kid I could've predicted they would've been endgame. I always assumed Marcesca would be endgame before I watched S3, especially how S2 ended.

Everything feels so hopeful and then you're watching 3x01 and everything feels... off... anyway <33

I'm gonna make an out of context video before I start my S3 rewatch. But when I start season 3, expect:

2) Leonetta (It’s the grumpy/sunshine energy. They need couples counseling, but I’m rooting for them! They make each other crazy but they also make each other so dang happy. Sharing dreams? How iconic of them. They just love each other so much I’m emo about it)

3) Diecesca (Unlikely pairing vibes, Strangers to Acquaintances to Enemies to Friends to Lovers, Healthy ship ♥️, are they the leftover pairing? See if I care! They upstage everyone anyway <3 Tbh my only complaint is I had to wait too long to get them)

4) Luty (Sometimes they rank 3rd, and sometimes they rank 2nd bc who am I not to be weak for some dumbass gays, they are an absolute mess, but also so dang sweet too. Just so layered. Will keep you up at night analyzing)

5) Fedemilla (binary stars 🤩, cuties, easy to love, a very fun version of the mean girl/nice boy trope)
