#Vampire the Masquerade#vtm#Me: Oh what if a kid in a Little Match Girl situation some time in the 1700s ended up begging at the door of a powerful Ventrue elder#and instead of just killing her he's like 'Cutie!' and immediately decides to make her his daughter#(and then turns her almost right away so she'll never *stop* being this big-eyed soft-cheeked little darling...)#and her life goes from utter destitution to the lap of luxury and stays there for hundreds of years#she should be spoiled absolutely rotten but somehow even after all this time she's incredibly sweet...#expect for the part where she eats people--even people she likes!--with no remorse because that's what her Daddy does#and what he taught her to do#and Daddy is the one who saved her and he's so kind to her so nothing he does can be wrong#her adventures start when he goes missing amd she gets found by a bunch of other vampires#(Daddy never introduced her into Kindred society like he was s'posda and he didn't tell her anything about it)#(so she's like a 5th or 6th generation vampire but she doesn't know jack)#oh this is *such* a cool idea!#Me: Oh. Wait. 'Shirley Temple Vampire' is already a character that exists and is super famous#although my character is different in at least one crucial way;#a lot of Claudia's angst is that she has an adult mind in a child's body#whereas my character has much more arrested development
